Fresh aquatic, nothing very unique or special. On me it lasts about 3 hours, the aquatic note prevails along with melon. I’ll try it again when it’s very hot but honestly I think it’s not for me

  2. Davidoff’s Secret The fragrance comes across from the start as a fruity aquatic blend, with that air of “water flowers and fruits” that don’t stand out individually but create a fresh and light feeling. As it develops, a dry and powdery note appears that gives it an interesting and different twist, adding character without losing the citrus-aquatic essence. In the drydown it stays fresh and clean, with a soapy touch that reinforces its summery profile. It’s perfect for hot days, it gives off freshness without overdoing it and feels totally unisex, easy to wear on any occasion. An aquatic classic with a powdery twist that makes it special. For me, it earns a solid 8/10.

It’s pure freshness and totally wins in that regard because it has that ozonic touch I love so much, plus the little fruits have a rich flavour and make it delicious. It’s not a flat fresh scent like Ralph but has so much more character. As it settles on the skin it becomes more elegant and it’s my favourite for a summer night, it has something really special that transports me straight to the 2000s.

  4. A classic for summer, ideal for the gym or after a shower, fresh and aquatic, I keep choosing it at an excellent price

  5. A cologne my mother had when I was 7 years old, and she wore it all year round, but I would describe it as a very fitting fragrance for the hot season here on the Mediterranean Sea coast. It activates perfectly with the humidity in the air. Here I’ll say there was a little trick because what my mother had was a supermarket dupe, but it was quite faithful to the real one, since I tried it recently in the shop and it’s just as I remembered it. It’s a fragrance with simple performance, but not as predictable as it seems, since it is an aquatic-based perfume with a lot of sweetness, although freshness prevails at all times, but on my mother it smells very much of flowers, and the trail that stands out most and that remains once dry is jasmine. On me it smells like a unisex perfume, the kind I really enjoy: an aquatic perfume with white flowers. It’s my favourite unisex perfume. I see it as ideal for daily wear on hot days, but also for before and after the gym, doing outdoor sports activities, a festival… The age range is also broad, since it performs well on both young and older people. For the price and availability on the market I highly recommend it to everyone who is getting started in perfumery.

  6. I recommend trying it on skin, as it changes a lot from paper. In my case, while on paper it felt fresh and dried down with a fruity and aquatic touch, on my skin it dried down with a particularly synthetic odour, very different, to the point of seeming like another perfume.

  7. A classic in the aquatic floral category with fresh fruitiness. I think it works best when it’s hot and in general people tend to like it, it’s a pretty popular perfume. Personally I don’t love it but overall I find it pleasant, only that I might prefer to smell it on someone else and not on me. It has something that tires me. Maybe it’s too much of a mix of notes. I have to say it’s fresh but at the same time heavy, as some have already explained. It lasts longer than you’d think. At 23 euros for 100 ml it’s very good if it’s your style.

The first time I smelt it I thought “floral with some fruit.” Indeed, the melon gives it its sweet touch without being sweet, rather fresh, yes it’s aquatic and a bit tart. I had my friends smell it and they thought I was going to buy it, which means it’s not a precisely feminine scent. It’s fresh and fruity. Not sickly. Only that personally I think the lime irritates my nose a little. But other than that it’s a good fragrance I could recommend for going to the gym, or for short walks. Feeling clean for a little while.

  9. I honestly love this scent and I always will. However I would not buy this again, any body splash in my collection has better lasting power. It’s a good choice for doing sport though, but for that I would really go for a body splash instead

This perfume is a summer classic. I discovered it through a friend who wore the masculine version and gifted me this one to enjoy them together, both versions are very refreshing for times of intense heat. Not sweet at all, just that freshness vibe that counteracts the heat, just as its name says it’s a cold little water necessary and indispensable for me every summer.

I love it. It scents you subtly but definitely. It’s one of those vital aromas that lift your mood. It lasts.

This really is an excellent quality perfume at a very good price! I bought it blind in the largest 200ml bottle at an affordable price after seeing the positive reviews it had. It’s an aquatic floral with a citrus touch, the scent is not my favourite, but I have to say it doesn’t go unnoticed, it leaves a trail and best of all it lasts a ton of hours! The next day you could still smell it on me, I can’t believe it’s an EDT. I like it for daily use, for hot days when you feel like wearing a refreshing perfume

  13. Wishing a great day to everyone in this chat. Davidoff’s COOL WATERS has been one of my signature perfumes for almost 20 years. And the favourite for my husband. He prefers that I wear COOL WATERS on all our dates, knowing that I have sooo many perfumes and that they can be more exquisite and high-end. He says that like COOL WATERS there is no other perfume that beats it hahaha🤣How crazy. So to please him I always wear this one when we go out. And all the others I wear on all the remaining days. For me it’s a fresh, aquatic, clean, sexy, elegant scent that makes me feel attractive and very chic. I can keep wearing it my whole life. The best thing is its affordable price and that it’s still current despite years on the market. They still sell it, applause to its creator PIERRE BOURDON.👏👏. Perfumes and more…Nahuell.

It turns very spicy on my skin. I feel the marine note but it stays behind the spice. It’s like a Halloween version but spicier and stronger. Suitable for lovers of aquatics but with a kick. I also get a note like eucalyptus, which is not listed. When it’s hot, which is what it was created for I suppose, I don’t feel like smelling a spicy fragrance at all, on the contrary. Otherwise it’s divine.

  15. On the opening it’s refreshing but in the dry-down on the skin it turns like lime blossom tea, very nasty

  16. A pretty meh fragrance, nothing to obsess over but it works to let others know you’re wearing perfume. I don’t know if it’s been reformulated since I’ve had mine for about 10 years, honestly I don’t get anything marine at all, to me it smells more like a citrusy, herbal and even spicy fragrance. In the opening a lime peel note stands out, quince and melon play an important role so the lime note doesn’t overshadow all the others, after that on me there’s a spicy-like note, like fresh herbal clove. It’s a perfume with somewhat mediocre performance, I don’t quite like it, but for the price it’s not bad, it’s basic and gets you out of a tight spot if you don’t care much whether others detect your perfume. 17. My experience with this perfume has not been positive. The scent feels heavy and has a dry-down that is too alcoholic for my taste. Despite its reputation and expectations of a refreshing fragrance, I find its composition is neither pleasant nor balanced on my skin. I haven’t noticed any fruity or talc scent. It smells more like a detergent or a ‘breeze’ air freshener.

I love it, it’s good, lovely and cheap. Honestly I wouldn’t know how to describe the notes of this perfume, what I can say is that when I smell this perfume I imagine a blue glacier in the middle of Antarctica. I feel that’s how a glacier must smell, I also imagine a cold winter air breeze, pure and fresh air. It’s a delicious and super fresh and cold scent. That’s why I think it’s ideal for any season. It’s a workhorse. Lots of people have complimented me on this perfume, it’s one of the few perfumes I’ve been complimented on. I think it’s super versatile and suits people of any age. Oh and it lasts FOREVER, at least on my skin it lasts all day and on clothes until I wash them.

  19. I love its scent, it’s very fresh and unlike any other. The not-so-good part is I don’t know if they changed the formula because it doesn’t last long on my skin any more. It’s a perfume you can wear during the day and if you have a pH that clicks with this perfume believe me you’ll get compliments.

  20. One of my perfumes from secondary school… And one I still love to this day. How could I forget that freshness, with that citrus and vanilla touch of this beauty? Cool Water was there for me on the days when I had to do sport, because I felt fresh, with a scent that lasted all day and stood out everywhere. A lovely fragrance, which smells clean and was equal in quality to its masculine version. However, all that glitters is not gold and unfortunately it is now Coty who handles the production of this perfume, which has been reformulated, and the longevity is not as it used to be. A shame because Cool Water would easily now be the rival to Light Blue if it weren’t for those details. Despite all that, I love it and it is one of those perfumes I would never change and if the bottle runs out, I’ll buy it again, I can’t help it because it is already part of my life. If you have never had the chance to try it and you like Light Blue, you won’t regret it.

  21. A resounding NO, I hated it, in the department store the young assistant insisted I try it on skin and I ran to the loo to try to get it off, the smell wouldn’t come off even with soap. I can’t detect any of the stated notes, on my skin it smells of rancid floor cleaner, neither sweet, nor fruity, nor aquatic, a very unpleasant sour smell, it doesn’t even smell like perfume. Simply horrible, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The people with me, even after I’d washed my arm three times, could still smell the perfume and didn’t like it at all either.

I haven’t got much new information to add to what has already been said: smell of being near the sea, along with the smell of body lotion, that’s how I perceive it. It’s a pleasant smell. I want to try it in the height of summer to see how it performs.

It’s a really good fragrance, very fresh, really for everything, honestly. Very aquatic and versatile, it sinks into the skin and can still be felt many hours later, it lasts a long time. It’s not the scent I like the most, but I’ve bought it on several occasions, from time to time I go back to it. I agree with another review I’ve read, the bottle is very awkward to use, it has a shape that slips out of the hand easily, I don’t know why they’ve never changed it.

  29. Refreshing, sweet and smells very clean. Personally I really like it and you wouldn’t think it has been on the market for over 20 years. Excellent for hot weather. Moderate sillage and excellent longevity for an EDT! I can still smell it on my skin after more than 7 hours. Plus it’s very affordable.
