About Ambre Latte
Ambre Latte by Essential Parfums: A Woody Oriental with a Sweet Twist
Essential Parfums has launched Ambre Latte, a new woody oriental fragrance crafted by Jordi Fernández. Arriving in 2026, it is suitable for both men and women.
The name hints at the softness of almond milk and the warmth of amber, underpinned by a selection of fine woods.
Ambre Latte presents itself as a woody oriental fragrance, a family that combines the depth of resins and woods with a warm, sweet character. The fragrance pyramid opens with a top note of almond milk, lending a creamy, slightly gourmand texture.
At the heart, caramel, tonka bean and vanilla reinforce the sweet, vanillic side, while the base unfolds woods such as sandalwood, Akigalawood, Amberwood, Georgywood and gaiac wood, alongside Ambrofix™, white musk and benzoin. Together, they form a woody, gently powdery and musky foundation.
Perfumer Jordi Fernández, known for other creations from the house, signs this composition, which plays with woody, vanillic, amber, sweet, warm spicy, caramel, oud, almond, powdery and musky accords. It is a complex yet approachable blend.
According to available data, Ambre Latte has an average rating of 3.81 out of 5, based on 577 ratings and 4 reviews. That makes it an interesting addition to the Essential Parfums range, a brand known for offering solid quality at a reasonable price.
Sillage and longevity are not officially specified, but given the nature of the notes – woods, resins and balms – it is likely to feel warm and enveloping, making it a good choice for cooler months or for those who want a fragrance with presence.
Those who appreciate sweet yet refined perfumes with a woody character and a gourmand edge, ideal for colder months or evening wear.
Ambre Latte is a reliable choice for lovers of sweet amber and creamy woods. It feels balanced, contemporary, and offers great value within the Essential Parfums range.

At the opening, you smell a sophisticated almond milk. Then it settles and vanilla and sandalwood coexist all the time in a very harmonious way. It’s very balanced, sweet without being sickly. The sandalwood scent predominates for me, but it’s a creamier and more refined sandalwood. I put one spray on my wrist 3 hours ago and it’s still smelling and projecting hugely. You can tell the quality of the perfume and I highly recommend it. Very unisex.
It arrived as a sample with an order of another perfume and I couldn’t wait to get home. From the notes, there was a good chance I’d like it: almond, tonka, benzoin… I loved it, it’s sweet but not too much, you can smell the vanilla but as a backdrop, I love that lasting quality of the woody and sweet resins. I can’t stop bringing my wrist to my nose. It’s not going on the wishlist, it’s going straight into the basket. Oh! And I don’t think it’s just for winter, nor for 40 degrees, but the musky touch gives it a freshness that makes it wearable in spring and temperate climates, but definitely autumn is probably the best time to enjoy it.
I’ve just received it so my review is a first impression. It’s not what I expected but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. In my opinion, it’s a blend of Akigalawood from Bois Impérial or Valaya with hazelnut and woods from Guidance and a darker caramel like Disumano from Morph. At the moment it’s 40 degrees here and this isn’t a perfume for heat so I can’t appreciate it properly. It’s fairly serious, not at all youthful and not very gourmand. It looks like it will have good staying power.
It hasn’t been released yet and people are already rating it as if they’ve got it, so trust the website.
