Aoud Lagoon by Montale is a floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, this olfactory composition was created by Pierre Montale. In its opening, the top notes reveal osmanthus and mandarin; the heart unfolds with tiare flower and lotus flower; while the base notes, which give body and persistence, are formed by guaiac wood, vetiver and moss.

It opens with yellow flowers, super sweet and pleasant. I’m a woman, and it has a background note like bubblegum, but I believe it’s the oud—sweet and very soft. Then the wood comes through, delicate, as if you’d put those aromas in a rosewood or cedar wardrobe and smell them right there. It’s a delight and very versatile.
