Dear n42831: I don’t think it’s right to copy reviews from other pages. We hope you share your own personal experience with this fragrance. Thank you!
In it, I only perceive the red berries, between sweet and acidic. It also reminded me of the scent of ‘mixed berry’ herbal infusions. It’s pleasant. The longevity is moderate.
I tried this fragrance in an Avon store. When I applied it to my wrist, I was surprised by its resemblance to the famous strawberry lip balms (here in Chile) that every girl should have to reapply every five seconds. The scent on me ends as it begins: sweet red fruit notes with a slight acidic and woody touch. It’s lovely but not surprising; I imagine it on a very young girl, as a first perfume, tender and perfect for school. It has little sillage but lasts quite a while.
I only detect red berries, sweet yet acidic at the same time. It reminded me of ‘forest fruit’ infusions. Quite pleasant. The longevity is moderate.
Bloody brilliant, it’s my favourite Avon scent to date. Smells fantastic, but the real winner is that it lasts and leaves a lovely trail. Highly recommend for anyone wanting something sweet without being overpowering. I’d definitely buy it again.
What a lovely perfume; until today, my favourite from Avon. Not just for the scent, but for its incredible longevity and trail. I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended for those who like sweet scents without being heavy.
I like it very much, but I find it too sweet. Otherwise, it’s long-lasting and elegant. I’ll try it in winter to see how it fares.
It’s my favourite Avon perfume, exquisite, liked by both men and women. The longevity is moderate but it doesn’t matter; it’s a pleasure to reapply. I love it!
I discovered it yesterday and it bears no resemblance to La Vie Est Belle or Armani Si… It reminds me greatly of Chance Tendre EDT, but less sparkling and more serious. Tendre has that fresh, spiced quince and hyacinth note with cedar… Perhaps Luck has a hint of Tendre EDP due to the sandalwood. It smells clean, neither soapy nor creamy. The fruity notes dry down into sunny florals, less fresh and slightly ambered, with a dense, muted sandalwood base. I detect a bitter afternote in the base that cuts the sweetness, with a touch of greenery among the flowers. Less spectacular than Tendre, but it’s an alternative for those who can’t spend thousands on Chanel and want that feel for a few hundred from Avon.
Another one I’m finishing off. It’s super sparkly and cheerful, totally unlike other perfumes. I get notes of red berries and citrus; it’s delicious and you’ll surely like it too. The bottle is a real treat and comfortable to wear, though it doesn’t last long on me, so I always carry it with me. The price is painless and it’s worth it. It gives me a real lift and puts me in a good mood. I knew nothing about Avon before, but I’ll try more based on your reviews since I have to buy online as I can’t find a physical shop.
Another one I’m finishing; it’s very sparkling and cheerful, smelling of nothing I know. The red berries and citrus notes stand out; it’s delicious and easy to wear. The bottle is lovely and comfortable, so I carry it with me because it doesn’t last long on me. It’s affordable and worth it; it gives me a real lift and puts me in a good mood. I didn’t know Avon before, but I’ll try more based on your reviews as I have to buy online.
First purchase: fascinating, elegant, sophisticated and long-lasting. I loved it. Second purchase: rich, but a bit cloying. I almost didn’t finish it. Third purchase (the last): ostentatious, sickly sweet and very sugary (though still elegant). I wore it three times and then gifted it. Yes, it lasts hours, but after a couple of hours I was already feeling sickly sweet and noticed it in every movement.
I bought it for the first time and found it fascinating and sophisticated, lasting a long time. The second time, it was rich but a bit sweet; I nearly finished the bottle. The third (and last) time: overpowering, cloying and very sweet. I wore it three times and then gifted it away. Yes, it lasts for hours, but after a couple of hours I felt cloying with every movement.
My first Avon perfume and I had no idea what to expect, but oh surprise! This bottle and its aroma surpass many designer brands. It’s elegant, youthful, sweet, and best of all, it has the three Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap. The longevity and trail are top-notch. A very pleasant experience discovering Avon. Luck for her is definitely a keeper.
This was my first Avon purchase and I was absolutely blown away: I wasn’t in the mood, but what a surprise! It smells better than many designer brands, elegant, youthful and sweet. The best part is it has the 3 Bs: good, beautiful and cheap. A very good experience; Luck for her is now on my shortlist.
Exquisite perfume. A fresh opening, but the creamy, sweet white florals emerge quickly. The sandalwood feels incredibly rich at the base. It’s youthful, versatile, and cheerful, making it well worth it as catalogue brands are often overlooked. I highly recommend it. I’ve really enjoyed it.
I absolutely love it! There’s a note that reminds me very much of Chanel Eau Tendre. It’s my favourite and I can’t believe I found something so affordable for daily wear. It’s perhaps a little less fresh than Eau Tendre, maybe due to the white florals and creaminess which give it a more serious edge, but the opening smells very similar. I’d use it to save the Chanel for special occasions, during the day and when it’s not too hot. Definitely an excellent perfume.
Delicious, yet it lasts and projects nothing for me. What a pity! I wonder if it’s a faulty bottle, as the opening is rich, sweet and sparkling, but it fades almost immediately, leaving me wondering if I’d applied a red berry body lotion. I bought the 15ml version and wouldn’t purchase the full bottle, despite it being a beautiful addition to my collection. Based on what I can smell, it feels cheerful, youthful and suitable for everyday wear—sweet but not cloying. However, I can’t believe it’s an EDP.
A lovely perfume, sweet and fruity. I have a very sensitive nose to fruit notes, and this isn’t among my favourites. However, it is delicate and doesn’t overwhelm me. After a while, the fruits blend with white florals and become cloyingly sweet. Still, it’s not a disaster.
A lovely low-cost option, one of the best I’ve tried. It has a good trail and gratifying longevity. Not quite a bomb, but almost. I’ll be buying it again when I run out.
Nice, low-cost but one of the best I’ve tried; pleasant sillage and gratifying longevity. It’s not a bomb, but nearly so; I’ll definitely buy it again when I finish this bottle.
Luck for Her is a sweet floral, like flowers with caramel, soft, neither intrusive nor gourmand. It reminds me of Ariana Grande’s Ari, but less sweet and more mature. Overall, it is very feminine and versatile. On me, it lasted half an hour, with five hours of longevity and a soft trail, almost just for enjoyment; it lingers more on clothes than on skin. Nevertheless, it is lovely and has an almost universal appeal. Who will like it? Everyone, it is beautiful.
Smells of red berries with whipped cream. The trail is exquisite, but close to the skin, I detect an acidic and strange note that I don’t quite like. It seems delicate and refined, suitable for afternoon tea. The little bottle is gorgeous; it looks more expensive than it is.
A sweet fragrance, pleasant for occasional use in winter or autumn. In my opinion, it’s not suitable for daily wear as it becomes a bit generic and overwhelming.
Woody, sweet, and floral, without being heavy in any of the three aspects. Very similar to Victoria Secret’s Bare; I hope it returns to Avon’s catalogues.
Smells more fruity than floral and super sweet. Reminds me of Ari, but it has a synthetic fruit note that scares me slightly, almost cloying. The trail and longevity are good. Edit: I’ve finally identified the note that bothers me; although it’s not listed, it smells of over-ripe apple, haha.
