  • Yellow, with quality, pretty, youthful, boring, not very special, great longevity, little trail. I’m going to ramble a bit. Today I took a little off to wear it and my impressions are the same. The problem is that of the four notes I only know the honey. It’s quite flat, evolving subtly and slowly. The opening is a slap of ylang which then reminds me of Nº22. Afterwards the scent disintegrates and becomes pollinated. The honey is very subtle, elegant and nothing edible, only giving relief to the flowers. It’s not sweet, it has a slightly bitter and expectorant tone that reminds me of ylang. According to the sheets, freesia appears at the beginning and stays protagonist, reminding me of My Burberry and Nivea cream (I enjoy Beige more than My Burberry which is sometimes sour). The dry-down also has freesia, pleasant but reminding of anonymous perfumes. It is a soft yellow floral, atypical for being pure, not cloying, with sharpness. It’s atypical for this collection, elegant and creamy, velvety. It conveys calm, neutrality and elegance, like beige, although for me it’s pale yellow. The fixation is very good, better than others in the collection. The trail is soft-moderate, skin-close, which makes it sensual. It doesn’t have the Chanel seal so marked nor is it the perfect mix of classic and modern. It doesn’t look back, it’s very youthful and unisex. It’s not a bad perfume, but its proposal is mediocre. Its target could find other options.

  • Beige is very pretty and very boring. It’s very Chanel. Falling in love with it depends on your tastes, because in the lottery of great perfumes it has few chances. The quality is undeniable, nothing artificial or plastic. It’s refined and fine. The notes don’t match what I felt, but knowing them I integrate them into the impression. Blindly I swore it carried aldehydes, ylang, leather or vanillaised myrrh. I just saw it’s honey. Seriously? I thought it was soft lily with ylang and myrrh. It is honey, but not the muddy, dripping kind… Removing the initial waxy vapour and outdated part, which I love because it’s very Chanel, the rest I thought was jasmine and ylang. It is ylang for real and woods or suede sweetened. Now that I know it’s honey, it does fit. Forget the sugary, oppressive honey; the honey of Beige is transparent, sweet, luminous, with the texture of a breeze. What I thought was jasmine is probably freesia and frangipani, sweet and luminous white flowers, without fecal notes. Beige is the Chanel version of exotic flowers that in cheap perfumes ruin your eyes, but here they are so integrated that it is pure Chanel. It smells like Rue Cambon, to an elegant salon on Place Vendome, surrounded by well-educated people. It is 100% Chanel, executed with grace. Although I don’t like its sweetness, here it is done well. Yes, it’s boring. Pretty and boring. PS: I found it feminine. Blackberry blossom smells sweet and sometimes almond-like, just like frangipani, which I confused with sweet suede or leather when tasting it. Longevity is half-decent, but the trail is short.

  • A masterpiece by Chanel. If elegance and delicacy have a name, it is ‘Beige’. It’s expensive and I committed the madness of buying it blind, but I hit the mark perfectly. It has the maison’s seal, undisputed quality. I don’t see it as old-fashioned; on the contrary, anyone can wear it and I see a youthful and delicate touch that makes you feel wonderful. Thank you for this jewel.

  • A masterpiece from Chanel: if elegance and delicacy have a name, it is Beige. It is expensive and I committed the folly of buying it blind, but thank goodness I got it spot on. It bears the undisputed seal of the maison, the quality of its ingredients. I do not see it as an old-fashioned perfume; on the contrary, anyone can wear it regardless of age, yet it has a youthful and delicate touch that makes you feel wonderful when wearing it. Thank you for this jewel of perfumery.

I haven’t tried anything for months, so I’m a bit untrained with the notes. Please excuse the poverty in descriptions. Never has a fragrance name seemed so apt to me. Beige is class and elegance, but also restraint and boredom, which is exactly what it is: a lovely, elegant and boring little thing. On my skin, creamy white flowers stand out, similar to those in Floris’ Bouquet de la Reine, reminding me of a sophisticated wedding. The trail is non-existent (it’s ‘beige’!), but I was still smelling it at 12 hours. It’s for short distances and I would love to wear it daily if it weren’t so expensive. Since it’s similar to Floris’ (which costs less than £70 online), I would opt for the British one. Despite everything, Beige is a gem that I enjoyed this morning.

I haven’t tried much for months and have limited myself to Cabotine and Álvarez Gómez, so I admit I am a little untrained at distinguishing notes. Please forgive the poverty in my description. I have never felt a name so apt. Beige symbolises class, but also restraint and boredom, which is exactly what this fragrance is: a lovely little thing, elegant and rather plain. On my skin, white and creamy flowers stand out, very similar to those in Floris’s Bouquet de la Reine, evoking a sophisticated woman on her wedding day. Its trail is almost non-existent (and it makes sense, it is beige!), yet I could still smell it on my skin after 12 hours. It is a close-spray scent; I would wear it daily if it were not so expensive. As it is so similar to Floris’s (which costs less than £70 online), I would lean towards the British one. Nevertheless, Beige is a gem that made me enjoy the morning a little more.

Beige is the essence of refinement, the sober and the natural. It is the floral of exquisite simplicity, the unsaid but demonstrated word. It is a prodigious floral millimetre-perfectly crafted by Chanel to not block the senses and give beauty without killing it. It opens bitter/spiced with blackberry blossom, the touches of ambrette sweeten it a little. The blackberry blossoms are intense and spicy, but Chanel works them well so they don’t sting. Then it adds juicy plumeria in the heart and the modern, light freesia that completes the honey accord. What characterises it is the balance, that going back and forth between bitter and sweet floral. It serves to feel good and make a dreamy parenthesis in a perfect garden. It is beautiful in its naturalness and has a touch of mischief. It represents Chanel with rectitude and minimalism, but it is not simple; its simplicity is key to having personality without overwhelming. I don’t think it’s one of the best-sellers because it’s a rare and unusual scent. I’m crazy about it from the start; I wish it weren’t luxury so I could use it as a daily signature. It delivers for smelling divine. This review is for the EDP, the EDT is similar but deeper in blackberry blossom and less in honey. The trail and longevity are the same in both. The trail depends on the skin, but in my case Beige lasts hours. It is a floral that smells strongly on my skin and Chanel works well. I recommend trying it with generous sprays, you might be surprised.

  • Pure elegance, flawless skin and a perfect smile. It is classic beauty made real, a utopia of loveliness. Beige is that beige suit of refinement and wealth that feels not distant, but close and natural. It transports me to red carpets where, despite the apparent naturalness, one can sense the effort to uphold such splendid beauty. It is luxury makeup that nourishes and illuminates the skin rather than covering it. Its superpower is being able to wear trainers and still feel like Grace Kelly while breathing.

  • Impeccable elegance, made-up skin with delicacy, perfect lips and a canonical bearing. Sculptural beauty. Beige is a suit of refinement, wealth without being haughty, always approachable. It takes me to red carpets where there is an effort to sustain that splendid beauty. It is a quality makeup that nourishes and illuminates the skin. It is the superpower of Beige and Chanel: going in trainers and feeling like Grace Kelly.

  • I just tried it on blotting paper and what floral and elegant. I don’t care if it’s from the catalogue or more feminine, I want it now.

  • If I had to choose one word, it would be JOY. It’s luminous, elegant, and sophisticated. Every time I wear it, I feel like I’m in a cloud of freshness and cleanliness. The floral and honey notes on my skin are balanced and very sweet. It’s like getting out of the shower with a luxury cream and a gentle breeze of sunshine. It lasts more than 8 hours and I always notice it. It goes great on warm days, although it works all year round thanks to that clean touch. Although it’s more feminine, on a man’s skin it highlights the clean floral side and people always compliment me. It suits any occasion; you project elegance and kindness. It’s linear, without many changes, although at the end the floral predominates without losing the cleanliness. The bottle is classic, straight lines with curves and a magnetic cap. Be careful opening the box, it falls out easily. It’s one of my first high-end perfumes and I remember the feeling of the first time. I can’t stop smelling myself. It gives me tenderness, reminds me of my home country and a happy childhood. Definitely one of my favourites, it gives me peace and confidence; don’t hesitate to try it.

  • If I had to choose one word, it is JOY. It is luminous, elegant and sophisticated. Every time I use it, I stay in a cloud of freshness, cleanliness and harmony. Its notes of flowers and honey on my skin have great balance and mellowness. It is like stepping out of the shower with a luxury cream, waiting for it to absorb with a light breeze and the sun. It has the luck of lasting more than eight hours and I always perceive it. Its best moment is in warm, daytime periods, although it works all year round thanks to that touch of cleanliness. Although it is more feminine, on male skin it highlights its clean-floral side and I always receive compliments. It suits any occasion; you project elegance and kindness. It is linear, with few changes, although over time the floral notes predominate without losing the cleanliness. The bottle is classic, straight lines with curves and a magnetic cap; be careful when opening the box, it is fragile. It is one of my first high-end perfumes and I remember the sensation of the first test. It generates tenderness in me, perhaps because of that tropical touch that reminds me of my country of origin and a happy childhood. Definitely one of my favourites; it gives me peace and confidence; do not hesitate to try it.

  • I tried it today at the perfumeries and it smells wonderful. It reminds me of a made-up, elegant, Parisian girl. I showed it to my boyfriend and he says it smells super natural, like roses (even though I’m not wearing any, haha). He gave it a 7 😊
