Highly recommended for spring, summer and autumn.
Its opening, due to some notes, reminded me slightly of Xeryus Rouge by Givenchy. It gave me an aquatic or marine impression, something expected being a flanker of Cool Water, perhaps due to the refreshing fruity opening with apple and juniper. At four hours, I sense soft cedar and other indistinct woods. At eight hours, the cedar continues with woods and musk. At 12 hours, a residual musky sensation with soft woods. I used 1 ml and got a moderate trail and longevity over 12 hours. Seems appropriate for spring-summer and daytime use. I sensed it with less synthetic or harsh notes than the original Cool Water, but at the same time, somewhat lacking in personality and similar to other woody aromatic fragrances.
Review of a sample they gifted me. First, its longevity is excellent… comparable to ‘Lanvin pour homme sport’. Both are quite durable for being fresh. That said, the perfume is quite good. A prominent cedar, fresh and well-blended with the sharp accord of kiwi, creating something juicy and not too serious thanks to that note and the crisp green apple. It’s very energetic but already discontinued. This is a good fresh perfume: light but not generic, nothing like other fresh scents. Greetings from Chile, fragranticxs!
Hello to all perfume lovers! You’re right that it’s energetic; I’d add that it’s energising and creates a trail of joy. That’s what made me feel (I mean, I did feel, since I only have the sadly empty bottle left). You feel special because you notice that wherever you go, this fragrance makes you stand out. People even ask what you’re wearing, not just women, but men too. It’s fresh, cheerful, citrusy with sweet and sparkling minty touches, probably due to the ingredient combination. For the dry down, a rich and varied woody aroma. For me, a very rich and cheerful creation with excellent longevity of over 12 hours. If you wear it on clothes, the scent becomes more lasting and delicious.
I’m not sure if they still sell it; I was gifted it years ago and can’t find it anywhere in Argentina. It smells very energetic and pleasant, with notes of kiwi, cactus, and something green and aquatic; to me, it’s a super harmonious blend.
I’m not sure if it’s discontinued. They gave it to me years ago and I haven’t seen it in Argentina since. I find it energetic and pleasant. You can detect the kiwi, the cactus and something green and aquatic. Very harmonious for my taste.
I received this as a gift back in 2007. I’d already tried the regular Cool Water and liked it, but this Deep version won me over instantly. It’s the most refined and organic scent I’ve ever smelled; although it isn’t expensive, nothing about it feels common. The opening is fruity (kiwi, tangerine, apple) with a touch of cactus that prevents it from being cloying or overly feminine. After 20 minutes, cedar and guaiac wood emerge, followed by an aquatic, musky, and resinous phase, yet always retaining that citrus and cactus nuance; everything is beautifully balanced. Perfect for spring and summer, with good longevity and sillage, though not extraordinary. I finished the bottle and when I tried to restock it, it was gone; a total shame. I replaced it with CK Summer 2007, which is similar, but nothing quite matches that blend of kiwi, cactus, and guaiac wood. For me, this is the best of Davidoff; it’s rare to find so many notes (almost 14) all so thoughtfully composed. Rating 9.5. Would I buy it again? At any price.

I replaced it with CK Summer 2007, something similar, but nothing compares to that mix of kiwi, cactus and guaiac wood, which is excellent. For me, the best of Davidoff. It’s rare they use so many notes; they usually use three or four, here there are about 14, all very well thought out. Rating 9.5. Would I buy it again? At any price.
This fragrance blew my mind. I can’t stand blue fragrances for lacking character, but I remember Deep as one of my all-time favourites. What a shame it’s discontinued. It was a wonder with its own personality, making you feel special.
