Dahab Absolu by Kajal: A Juicy Fruity Floral Gourmand for Everyone

Kajal has unveiled Dahab Absolu, a new unisex scent that embodies the spirit of sun-kissed fruits and comforting warmth. Launched in 2026, this creation is the work of master perfumer Patrick Müller, celebrated for his skill in blending vibrant accords with refined depth.

With its very first spritz, Dahab Absolu bursts with a succulent medley of mango, passionfruit and citrus, before settling into a heart of honeyed blossoms and a creamy, woody base. It's a fragrance that feels both playful and sophisticated, ideal for those who enjoy a generous, gourmand twist on traditional florals.

The opening notes present a harmonious blend of mango, tropical fruits, passionfruit, green apple, orange, grapefruit and bergamot. This effervescent, fruity introduction immediately captivates, offering a zesty freshness that enlivens the senses.

In the heart, rose, honey, jasmine, lily of the valley, geranium and blackcurrant leaves come together. The honey provides a luscious sweetness, while the blackcurrant leaves introduce a subtle tartness and green vibrancy, resulting in a rich and multi-layered floral core.

The base is anchored by cashmeran, vanilla, musk, caramel, oakmoss and gaiac wood. Caramel and vanilla lend a comforting, almost edible warmth, whilst oakmoss and gaiac wood supply an earthy, woody foundation that elegantly offsets the sweetness.

This fragrance boasts accords of fruity, tropical, sweet, citrus, fresh, rose, fresh spicy, honeyed, white floral and floral. Such complexity allows Dahab Absolu to develop beautifully on the skin, unveiling different dimensions as time passes.

Boasting an impressive rating of 4.23 out of 5 from 31 reviews, Dahab Absolu has clearly struck a chord with perfume lovers. Its two reviews praise its versatility and outstanding longevity, reaffirming Patrick Müller's expertise in crafting unforgettable scents.

This scent is perfect for anyone who appreciates a vibrant, sweet aroma that transitions effortlessly from day to night. It appeals equally to men and women who love a generous dose of fruit and gourmand notes, and it shines particularly in spring and summer, though its warm base ensures year-round wear.

Dahab Absolu is a delightful addition to Kajal's portfolio, offering a rich, juicy and comforting olfactory journey. Its balance of bright fruits, honeyed flowers and creamy woods makes it a versatile and memorable choice for those seeking a touch of indulgence.

For me, it’s a Lamar with steroids, Lamar already being a bomb… the same prickly rose this time instead of pineapple it has a tropical fruit cocktail. For now, it hasn’t won me over.

  2. If you have Aican, you have Dahab absolut. Nothing more. What a way to go around the same thing, changing the name. It smells very good, but more of the same.
