Full-on nardos with a sweet, woody base. I tested it in-store on blotter and on skin and loved it so much I bought another from the collection, although Desinvolte stayed on my wish list. Months later I purchased it, but when I tried it again it didn’t please me as much as the first time. It felt somewhat vintage, strong, and more suited to a man. If I had to compare it, I’d say it’s a more sophisticated cousin of the famous Organza. I used it a few times and it definitely wasn’t for me, so I removed it from my collection (much to my regret). On paper it smells super floral with a sweet touch, just like the other review, even if the notes don’t explicitly say so. That sweetness made me think there might be fruit, but it’s probably ambroxan giving it that second-skin effect. I like it, but I think it’s too floral and sweet for me; over time it would become suffocating.
