At first sniff, I thought it was Gris Charnel. The comparison keeps coming up every time I try it as they share notes. Unlike the BDK version, here black tea and cardamomo dominate, with a sweeter finish thanks to the cider. If you like one, you’ll surely like the other.
Delightful. It’s like a citrusy, fresh take on Gris Charnel; they don’t resemble each other, yet it gives a very close impression of the scent. 9/10.
Worn on skin, it smells very much like Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, even though theoretically they don’t share notes. I’m surprised that soapy touch comes from the listed ingredients. I’ll have to return to El Corte Inglés to try it again; perhaps I was mistaken, but I tested it on skin as I didn’t have a blotting sheet for this one, whereas I used them for the others.
A treat. Opens citrusy with a soapy touch. Once it settles, the cardamomo and black tea release a wonderful aroma. I’d wear it at a formal daytime event as the dry-down is woody, yet it doesn’t lose its freshness and the spiced cardamomo note.
