Buy I.D. from L’BEL; it is almost identical but lasts longer than this one; at fifteen dollars for 100ml, it is excellent.
I have it and bought it blindly for the Dior Homme collection. The scent is rich, fresh, natural and nothing synthetic. The projection is twenty minutes and by the hour it is skin-scented and fades away. Being from Dior and the price, I regretfully admit it is a rip-off. It makes Polo Blue EDP, Coolwater or Starwalker look like beasts. I believe it would not even last a gym routine. Without a doubt, I would not buy it again. I thought of taking it to a daytime wedding in the heat, but I do not plan to reapply every thirty minutes.
Today is my favourite men’s fragrance. It is my partner’s perfume, which says it all. Despite being a cologne, it lasts and projects brilliantly. It passes the ‘sleep test’. The aroma is simple, easy-to-wear citrus that smells clean. I love it. I already told him not to even think about changing it.
I do not agree with Juan Manuel at all; it easily lasts five or six hours on me and projects quite well for the first three or four hours. The scent is rich, fresh, citrusy… there is nothing to say.
I love the product (it seems expensive); that rich lime-grapefruit citrus works brilliantly in hot climates; it is fresh and youthful. On my skin, it projects for an hour and a half, lasts about six hours on the skin and almost double on clothes. In the cold, it falls apart because it is citrusy, as if eating tangerines in the sun. In the heat, it develops the declared notes, very identifiable. It has a slight sweetness of delicious grapefruit blossom. For me, it is a 9/10; it would be a 10/10 if it were more accessible here.
I am one of the lucky ones for whom it projects for three hours or more on the skin. When I shower, I feel it again. What a fantastic perfume.
I bought Dior Homme Cologne after trying Adolfo Domínguez Citrus Cedar, which I also own, and to be honest, I was disappointed by the Dior one. I can’t smell it at all; I don’t know if it is my skin or if it is extremely subtle. If it changes radically over time, I will retract…
The scent is like squeezing a lemon in the market. Don’t be fooled by the claims of woods and musk; it smells of pure lemon, even the acid part (my sister thought it smelled of seeds).
Upon opening it, the first impression smells of lemon and ginger. It gives the impression of poor longevity, but I will use it all summer to see if it improves with the air of the bottle.
I prefer Mugler Come Together in this style. I feel the ingredients are of better quality in it than in this Dior one. Furthermore, once it dries down, it lacks something that doesn’t convince me; I believe it is the synthetic musk.
Exquisite it smells like lemonade with a very real note. Harmless and not offensive. It’s impossible not to like it. Perhaps it sins of simplicity (like any summer citrus). Performance is regular to low which is the bad part. I wouldn’t repeat.
I don’t see the point in buying it if Acqua di Gio EDT and its clones exist. It smells good and is of quality but that’s it. You won’t leave a mark on anyone because it’s a simple and common scent. For those of you living in Spain the White from the Aldi supermarket (a clone of ACDG EDT) is a thousand times better if you want to smell citrus and clean and it costs only 6 euros.
The first time I tried it I didn’t like it. It brought back a vague memory of a supermarket or pharmacy cologne from my childhood. I returned a few days later and couldn’t believe Dior had released something like that and that I was the one wrong. The perspective changed completely and I found it fascinating. The opening may not please at first but wait for the dry-down. It is a purely citrus scent; as it dries the grapefruit and musk rise a fantastic natural and refined aroma totally for summer. It gives me the sensation of being in a luxury hotel in a private cove with clean white sheets. It is masculine take my word for it.
I would say it is my favourite undoubtedly. The first time I smelled it when they gifted it to me I thought it wasn’t worth it and I was wrong. The fragrance is simple very simple: a very sweet citrus. But it doesn’t need more. Nothing to do with the usual blue fragrances on the market (I have the Acqua di Giò Parfum another marvel). It is personal close but enchanting. The projection is scarce but it doesn’t need more; that makes it special. It lasts a long time on my skin; every time I brush against or smell my wrist it’s still there. I recommend giving it a second chance; in the first or second spray you don’t feel the great power it hides. Highly recommended.
I have mixed feelings. I LOVE how it smells: a pleasant citrus nothing invasive elegant like a rich man on a yacht on a Sunday heading to the fishing club. The notable thing is the simplicity and how well it suits: an elegant simplicity. My only issue and what bothers me is that due to my body’s pH it doesn’t last at all on me. Tip: check first if the fragrance lasts to avoid disappointment.
I have used this Dior Homme Cologne all summer and the performance isn’t as bad as it seemed. It’s for closeness; you won’t project or throw clouds but it accompanies you for good hours. Knowing it’s a cologne don’t expect eight hours. The aroma is rich simple but very rich: everything revolves around the lemon. At times it seems like freshly squeezed lemon transforming into lemonade and reminds me of ginger tea (which has a spicy lemon aroma). If you can get it at a good price for summer it’s highly recommended.
Great disappointment. I was led astray by the charming aroma and sought something for summer the beach and the sea something fine. I tried several and settled on the Dior Cologne which fit perfectly: pure lemon sweet super refreshing fine and addictive. Sincerely the aroma is 10/10. The problem? The non-existent and null trail and projection. It projects nothing even if you apply it twenty times; it’s only felt close to the skin. Given the brand and value it’s a disappointment. When you have a rich scent you expect some projection. I regret to inform you that this is not the case. Although exquisite I do not recommend it to anyone unless money is not an issue.
Undoubtedly this is my favourite citrus scent; there may be better ones but I stick with this. Citrus elegant and with great presence. It’s not for bermudas and sandals but rather for white and brown tones as its elegance makes you stand out. Unfortunately the longevity is limited: it lasts about six hours and even with more application reaching eight hours will make it very timid. Like all Diors it is very elegant. Perhaps there are better options for the price but personally I remain with this one.
To enjoy this perfume first you must love citrus and second have a sensitive nose to aromatic quality as it makes all the difference. If not any Zara Vibrant Leather will suffice but not for me. I tried the Zara one first and found it so crude that I put aside testing the Dior until I realised it was a women’s cologne. The difference is like hearing Beethoven’s 5th Symphony in a village band after a party versus the London Philharmonic. It features a natural sharp bergamot with clean white musks and a citrus akin to a sweet orange less acidic than bergamot but not as sweet as a tangerine. Perhaps it’s grapefruit but to me it smells like orange. The protagonist is the bergamot with the rest playing secondary roles. It’s a pleasure to smell more for how it’s crafted than for the simple aroma. Enjoy the quality. Summer is its habitat day and night due to its elegance with that musk and also spring. With heat it’s versatile for the office or formal events but for a night date it might seem too innocent. The performance is good but the musks seem like ISO E Super: it appears to disappear and reappear throughout the day. 4–5 hours perceptible longer on clothes. If you don’t want to spend what it costs try Bergamot de Calabria by Álvarez Gómez which surpasses the Zara version though it doesn’t reach Dior’s quality. There is also Dior Homme Cologne a classic.
Unisex and delicious ideal for women who prefer spices over sweetness. It begins with an explosion of bergamot lemon and ginger that adds a spicy touch without being overpowering though it smells more masculine at first. After 30–45 minutes the intensity drops leaving a rich citrus scent with spices and a soft yet present white jasmine that lasts until the end. The longevity is moderate and the trail is light (I recommend reapplying after an hour or two as it fades quickly being a cologne) but the price is fair for a Dior. A brilliant refined green spiced fresh and summery aroma. It doesn’t bother anyone. 7/10 solely for longevity; it would surely be a 10 otherwise.
For others just another citrus, for me a WOW. Delicious citrus with pure bergamot and a touch of clean, non-artificial musk. Bergamot is my favourite note, so I’m instantly smitten. For bergamot lovers, I recommend buying it blind without reading reviews; you won’t regret it. Longevity: 8/10, for such a super-citrus it lasts quite a while, in my case over six hours. Scent: 10/10 for citrus. Projection: moderate, it’s very noticeable in summer and can feel heavy when moving around. Price: average for Dior or designer, nothing extraordinary. Gender: Unisex masculine. Conclusion: An extraordinary fragrance, easy to love and receives many compliments. I recommend buying it blind if you like citrus or bergamot.
I don’t understand those looking for perfumes that project 30 metres or last 12 hours. Who needs 12 hours? What event lasts that long? It’s an exquisite aroma and lasts the normal amount, five or six hours. Afterwards, you reapply or have a shower.
As delicate as it is subtle. The citrus isn’t super potent but it’s excellent and stable. The perfect definition of ‘less is more’. If it gained a point in projection and longevity, it would be a 10.
For summer, I believe this is THE BEST FRAGRANCE. It refreshes, cleanses, provides comfort and quality. Perfect for chillout parties with white shirts and linen, or quiet dinners by the sea or pool. Is it expensive? Yes, but in 200ml the price per ml drops, and it gives a feeling of serene luxury. When it’s hot, less is more. QUALITY over QUANTITY. A very Italian cologne, not French. A complete success.
One of the richest perfumes I’ve ever smelled. My brother got it for me and I fell in love. Top-tier citrus. Might not last long, but it’s for summer where lemon shines. A safe buy if you can get your hands on it.
The most beautiful citrus scent I’ve ever smelled. The only drawback is that, aside from the first 30 minutes, it stays very close to the skin. Bergamot, white flowers, and a clean, powdery, deliciously soapy musk, like a second skin. Lasts about four hours. Scent rating 10, performance 6, but that’s what it is. Ideal for spring and summer, more for day than night, a real treat. As an alternative, the Calabria Bergamot by Álvarez Gómez is also a delight.
It’s like having a fresh lemon squeezer hit you in the face after squeezing lemons in the garden to relieve stress. Lasts normally, but you keep reapplying for that citrus kick. Guilty pleasure.
All respect, this just smells of lemon leaves. I heard it in Liverpool and wouldn’t wear it for the life of me.
Smells like Kola Loka glue.
Brutal citrus for hot days, with a base that elevates it to niche status like Cedro di Diamante. Decent longevity for its style.
The first time I smelled it, it didn’t surprise me at all. However, I gave it a second chance, and that’s when it captivated me: an absorbing citrus aroma that seems like a fresh lemonade. It’s a good perfume to use in hot climates and during the day.
It’s the ultimate representation of paying for an experience. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a beginner or just want something that ‘smells nice’. This, being my favourite summer scent, is a fresh and refined experience from the first spray. At first, you’re a bergamot on legs, but as it dries down, the musk appears, revealing a clean, refined, citrusy, and classy perfume. 10/10.
Talking about 40 perfumes in a collection is ridiculous, but among them all, this is my favourite. If I see it drop below half strength, I get a real craving. It seems delicious and refreshing. It reminds me a lot of another great fragrance, ‘Citrus Cedro’.
Good projection for the first two hours, then it becomes a personal bubble, smelling of citrus with that grapefruit and musk… rich, a scent that delights… total longevity of about 6-7 hours. If you have the ‘Citrus Cedro’, I’ll tell you it’s a cheap copy of this beauty. Nothing more to say… 10/10.
It’s beautiful, simple, and lovely. The bergamot combined with grapefruit flower stops being wild and becomes a fantasy that smells of lime (here in Mexico, we call the sour green lemon ‘lima’). The musk gives it a magnificent structure, something slightly sweet with an alkaline cleanliness. It’s elegant and modern within the cologne category, but too expensive for what it offers. It lasts longer than a fart in the wind than this wonderful aroma, especially on dry skin, where it’s a nightmare. Still, I think it’s far superior to options like ADP Colonia Pura.
Scent: 10, Longevity: 0. What a shame; I’ll stick with Dior Homme Sports, which is a 10 in everything.
It’s okay but lasts a second, just like a J&J, and reminds me of Moschino Funny. It doesn’t last either, but the price difference is abyssal.
I stole it from my husband and I adore it; it smells clean and elegant. I find the opening citrus overwhelming: peels, lemon leaf, and grapefruit flower. It’s a pity it doesn’t last at all; you have to reapply quite a bit.
It’s 39 degrees here, so few colognes work. I applied Dior Homme Cologne generously. There’s not much to add: it’s not complex, but it’s extremely well-made and realistic. It’s simplicity taken to the limit. It’s an invigorating citrus with bitter peel and grapefruit flower, moving away from typical neroli colognes. As another reviewer said, it’s an olfactory experience with short longevity. You either love it for how it smells or hate it for being simple and short-lived. I’m in the first camp. Try it on skin before buying; despite its poor performance, for me it’s a 10/10.
First review here, not pretending to be an expert, just my consumer opinion. I absolutely love it: it’s not a serious scent with a huge trail, but rather discreet and relaxing. People do notice it; moderate projection and lasts about five hours on skin. It’s subtle, ideal for hot weather, with lime or sweet lemon notes. It’s one of my favourites.
