  • Memories of Armani Code Eau de Parfum. 75% similar, narcotic commercial, opulent and familiar aroma and trail, tasty and amazing, excellent presentation, lasts very well for its good 8 hours projecting for the first 3 and remaining more intimate until the 12/14 hours. On clothes it’s a seduction weapon that reminds me of the clubs of the 90s and cinemas, where aromas of tobacco, sweets, resins, and woods mixed. I’m testing it in full winter and I think it will go phenomenally; I imagine this fragrance shining in half-seasons on elegant and casual nights, catching attention. The peppers are very present in an ambered and tobaccoed dance of pipe and polished woods, there’s some leather or suede strolling through some vintage bar, rum that comes and goes while the pipe smoke converges and mingles with a sensation of (Chiclet’s?). Towards the end the balms accompany, orchestrating the chords that from the start were under the protection of the Myrrh and that warm, friendly Opopanax from ancient times, modernised. This review is based on my experience without interaction. Later I’ll comment on my appreciations regarding reactions and its full performance in different environments. My first perfume from this house along with Essencial Mirra, and you know the old Arabic proverb: if it happens once it might never happen again, if it happened twice, sit down and wait for the third which will surely come. Bravo Natura!! Verônica and Antoine 🤝

  • Armani Code EDP Memories: a 75% similarity, a narcotic and commercial scent with an opulent, familiar sillage that is very pleasing and surprising. The box is top-notch; it lasts about 8 hours, projecting strongly for the first 3, then becoming intimate until 12 or 14. On clothes, it is a seduction weapon that brings back memories of the 90s, nightclubs and cinemas where tobacco, sweets, resinous and woody notes mingled. I am testing it in the middle of winter and I think it will be a success; I imagine it will shine in mid-season on elegant or casual nights, catching attention. The peppercorns are very present in an ambered and tobaccoed dance of pipe tobacco and polished woods, with a bit of leather or suede strolling along a vintage bar counter, rumblings coming and going while pipe vapours converge with a chewing gum sensation. In the end, balms accompany the chords that were underneath the Myrrh from the start, and that warm, friendly Opopanax of old times, but modernised. This review is just my experience without interaction. I will comment later on reactions and performance in different environments. My first perfume from this house along with Essencial Myrrh, and as the Arabic proverb says: if it passes once, it may never come again; if it passes twice, sit down and wait for the third, which will surely arrive. Bravo Natura! Verônica and Antoine 🤝

  • Cristian Pintos

Rich fragrance and ideal for cold weather, it has an air of Homem Neo but sweeter and cozier, with more body. The scent is of a sweet, ambered vanilla that loses sweetness progressively. It projects for about an hour and a half, until it recedes and stays close to the skin for 5 hours. Scent: 9/10, Versatility: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10, Value for money: 7/10.

  • I arrived in Argentina yesterday and went to try it today; what a rich fragrance, well masculine, leaning slightly towards unisex. It has an ambered and spiced aroma from start to finish, with a saffron floral note and other flowers well at the beginning that disappear quickly, maintaining a dry, creamy sweetness from the vanilla and woods that develops exquisitely over time on the skin. I don’t know how long it lasts as these are my first impressions, but it looks like it will last a long time and project well, without being heavy. I know I’ll buy it when I see it on promotion because I loved it, but it’s one of the most expensive in the Natura range, so I’m waiting for an offer. Finally, I would have liked the bottle to be 100 ml and not 90 ml to maintain the same size as the rest of the Essential line.

  • Gastonhee

After three years of buying Natura perfumes and owning thirty or more, I realised that most are almost identical. This unique essential smells quite like the Oud Essential and the Women’s Oud Vanilla, and has something similar to Homem Tato. From my recent purchases, Biografia Encounters is the same as Homem Especiarias. I’ve realised I’m throwing my money away.

  • AugustoDoc

I bought it blind, but more blind than ever. In Argentina it was just released and there are almost no reviews to guide. I found a rich scent, but totally redundant in my collection. It is a spicy oriental, a bit sweet, ambered and woody. With almost no citrus at the start, the spices explode and immediately anyone who knows it will think of Bulgari MIB. I like how it evolves, letting the woods, cedar, myrrh, vanilla and amber be smelled. Obviously from the Natura line, the similarity with Homem Tato is noticeable, but without the cinnamon. From MIB it lacks the liquor note, nor the leather or tobacco that make it so distinctive, nor the tobacco and sweetness of the Spicebomb. Clearly all have their nuances, but the similarity is undeniable. Thumb down for reducing the presentation to 10 ml, thumb up for the slight improvement in packaging. It is an excellent alternative to MIB due to the far superior performance of Natura perfumes at a very acceptable price, especially if found on offer (I got it for about 25 USD at the exchange rate). It will go very well for low temperatures, although personally I use whatever I fancy at any time. The identity of the composition is always associated with older ages, but come on, who cares about those things? As is usual with Natura, its quality far exceeds its price. Recommended.

  • This is a review of a free sample I was given at an official Natura store. The scent is very masculine, ambered, something I recognise from others I own, and seemed quite adult. It has projection at the start but I didn’t feel it was very potent on my skin. Also, the smell makes me think of an older man, but it’s not a bad smell at all. I recommend it for going out at night, hopefully in spring or autumn, perhaps in winter but I think it lacks power (you have to spray it on clothes). That said, I’m not buying it.

  • Totally redundant: it smells of myrrh, oud, and pepper. It’s as if you took those perfumes I mentioned, put them in a bottle, shook them up, and came out with a single essential oil.

  • I tried it with high hopes, but it didn’t hit the spot: it shares traits with the other men’s fragrances in the range, the notes aren’t distinct, and it gives off a chemical laboratory vibe rather than botanicals. The base notes are common; you can tell it relies on a typical molecule. The only thing saving it are the earthy and herbal notes over the woods, which remind me of Natura Ekos Alma but devalued. I prefer the latter for being more complex and original. It’s very contemporary with an air of being a bit old-fashioned. It won’t fail if you’re looking for trail and longevity.

  • They don’t work for me; they bring back memories of the sweet, warm perfumes my grandmothers and great-aunts used.

  • Natura is starting to repeat itself in a scandalous way. This fragrance, although delicious, doesn’t escape the mould of most of the Essential line, but now it’s more expensive with terribly poor longevity and projection. I recommend Homem Neo; it has superior performance at a much more accessible price.

  • It’s a blend between Essential Mirra and Oud, but with a sweet and clean touch. I perceive musk, nutmeg, and cinnamon (presumably the Ishpink), as well as amber and woods. It’s cosy and winter-appropriate, but I didn’t like it; nothing new.

  • I am loyal to Natura Essential, specifically Oud, Mirra, and Palo Santo. When this new Essential came out at a promotional price, I bought it blindly due to my good experiences. I thought it would be a bomb because it’s a concentrate in 90ml… and it wasn’t. I found myself with a lower-quality clone of Natura Homem Neo. It’s the same aroma with more resins, but it doesn’t project as well. A generic scent within the Essential line; it disappointed me. I thought it would offer more performance, but I ended up with a bottle that mixes 78% Homem Neo and 25% Essential Mirra. A rip-off at the current price. Watch out! Natura is discontinuing Mirra in favour of this Essential, and Mirra is truly a very good perfume.

  • Fabricio Miotti

Excellent fragrance, Brazilian niche perfumery. I disagree with some comments. It doesn’t resemble any other Essential and its quality is superior. It’s an artistic fragrance: balsamic, resinous, spicy, woody, and slightly sweet. On me, tonka bean, copaíba, vetiver, saffron, and Ishpink cinnamon predominate. It doesn’t project too much nor is it strong; some performance has been sacrificed to achieve something sophisticated and of extremely high quality. Bravo!

  • Fabricio Miotti

A brutal niche fragrance from Brazil. I refuse to agree with the previous comments: it is unique, has no relation to other essences, and its quality is noticeable. It is an artistic jewel that mixes balsamic, resinous, spicy, woody and a sweet touch. Here tonka bean, copaíba, vetiver, saffron and that Ishpink cinnamon dominate. It does not project much nor shout; they have slightly reduced the performance to achieve something ultra-refined and sophisticated. Bravo!

  • ParfuMALE

Excellent perfume. It has facets that remind me of other Natura fragrances, especially the Neo, but at the same time it is different. As it dries down, it moves towards an animalic, resinous amber; it’s not sweet… It’s AMBER with plenty of labdanum. You can tell it doesn’t project much, but it lasts its 6-8 hours. Ideal for cold climates.

  • I think Natura could pull off something groundbreaking, and I don’t know why it’s so difficult for them. Apart from Elo, which is different, the Essential line seems to revolve around chords you already know. I experienced this with Neo. I’m not saying they are identical, but they bring back memories of other scents. This one smells rich, but it’s not the exception.

  • It’s rich. I haven’t tried the Neo or the Mirra, but I found it very good. It’s not a bomb that you can smell from metres away, but it is noticeable and lasts quite a while. On my skin it smells delicious, and so does it on my husband. It reminds me of E. OUD and the Velvet Amber Sun by Dolce & Gabbana, much more so than the Dolce, which is a bomb, hehe.

  • Strong and masculine, yet classy. It smells of leather and whisky, even if those aren’t the official notes. It has excellent longevity and sillage. I liked it among the Essentials; perhaps it’s not number one on the ranking, but it’s simply delicious.

  • Bought it with reservations due to the reviews, but for me, it’s a bombshell: a blend of leather, woods, and a dark, deep vetiver. Perfect for winter. It’s not a niche fragrance, but it’s very well made. While others complain about the longevity, on my skin it lasts over 8 hours. Highly recommended from Natura. If you catch it on offer, it’s imperative to buy it.

  • This is very original; the copaiba, vetiver and other spices make it a marvel, although while its fixation is short and precise… that’s where it should improve.

  • I tried it and it lasted an hour on my wrist, hahaha; the Homem Elo lasted much longer, it literally ate it up.

  • Santiago T

All kinds of wood. Shavings fly out of the spray. Once dry, two total beauties emerge: Coca-Cola and dry cleaning. I don’t perceive it as sweet (perhaps there’s a sweetness that rounds out the notes). I can’t imagine it for any situation: autumn, winter or fresh spring days. It has the DNA of the Essencial line. I’m not sure if it’s the best or most standout in the range (I tend to think it isn’t). Personally, I like it if I don’t have high expectations about its usage scenario.

  • Santo Lorenzo

Very delicious perfume; I see it as a more refined version of Essencial Oud, more formal and suitable for all year round. Longevity: it lasts longer than the Oud, but I forgive it because I prefer it more.

  • Santo Lorenzo

Very rich perfume, I see it as a more polished Essencial Oud in its notes, more formal and for all year round. Performance? It lasts longer than the Oud, but I forgive it because I like it more.

  • Trancemantis

I bought it at a great price on Mercado Libre and had been wanting to try it for years. The scent is exquisite and one of my favourites for its vanilla, wood and amber notes. However, on my skin it projects nothing and evaporates in under an hour, staying right next to the skin. Out of all the perfumes I own, it’s the only one I haven’t received compliments on, even though I’ve used second and third-tier brands that made more of an impression than this, what a pity because I love it… if only it were a bit cheaper in Argentina, I’d wear it all the time, but it remains too expensive to reapply constantly. The scent is vaguely reminiscent of Fan di Fendi, although the latter leans more towards leather when dry. I’d recommend it only for a date alone; otherwise, it projects nothing and it’s as if I’m not wearing anything.

  • David García Glez

I tried this perfume; I’d read it was similar to Spicebomb EDT and wasn’t very confident, what a surprise. It’s remarkably similar in every facet: I loved it. The opening is almost identical, slightly sharp from the pepper and spices to the point of tickling your nose, followed by that amber, woody, slightly sweet heart. Very good longevity. The only catch is that here in Mexico it costs almost the same as Spicebomb; if it were a bit cheaper, it would be well worth it.

  • I was gifted a sample, and watch out: I neither buy nor will buy the Essential line blindly. Many find it suitable for autumn or winter, but given its intense floral nature, I see it as perfect for summer evenings or cool spring days. It is truly elegant. If you like Libre, L’Interdit, Coco Mademoiselle, or Miss Dior, give it a try; it could add something lovely to your collection. Edit: I considered buying it and tested the sample again. Curiously, the opening drives me wild… over time it becomes VERY similar to Givenchy’s Amerige (I have a 1991 inherited bottle and it smells 75% the same). The jasmine takes total prominence.

  • On my skin, it is a unique powdery iris, sweetened with amber and vanilla over sandalwood. I like it; it is elegant and not as youthful as the other Essential proposals. Longevity and projection are excellent: a minimum of 8 hours with medium-to-high sillage. It resembles others; it didn’t remind me of the classic Far Away (which fatigues my olfactory senses), but rather the Imari Rouge from Avon, though the Essential version is more potent and sophisticated. It could fit the Olympea by Rabanne trend due to that dry, talc-like finish reminiscent of fine makeup. Value for money is very good: it smells designer, the price is high, but in Mexico, the 90 ml presentation compensates. Who is it for: lovers of powdery scents.

  • It is divine. I love how it sits on my skin; nothing of the old, but the bottle smells super vintage, so do not buy it blindly. I adore it; it is my treasure. It lasted over 12 hours and on clothes, you have to wash them to remove it entirely. It reminds me very much of Bvlgari Pour Femme Bvlgari; they share many notes.

  • It’s divine. I love how it sits on my skin; it’s not at all old-fashioned, but in the bottle it smells very VINTAGE, so don’t buy it blind. I love it; it’s my treasure. It lasted over 12 hours and on clothes you have to wash it to remove it completely. It reminds me hugely of Bvlgari Pour Femme Bvlgari; they share many notes.

  • It reminded me of the classic Carolina Herrera. Both are scents that I never quite enjoy; too many notes, and I do not like the bergamot note. Fortunately, I bought it at the launch price.

  • FloorPerfumeadicta

In the opening, it reminds me of the classic Far Away from Avon; it feels like a vintage floral scent, sweet and balsamic. When dry, the vanilla and sandalwood are noticeable, giving it that sweet and elegant touch. LONGEVITY 12+ hours. Scent 9/10. It does not have banana in the notes, but I sense it as if it did (it reminds me of Decadence). Recommend for cold climates or spring. TRY ON SKIN BEFORE BUYING! IT IS NOT A SCENT EVERYONE WILL LIKE! 👆😁

  • Shortly after testing it, my skin gifted me a beloved and familiar scent: Far Away by Avon (the classic). Both are wonders and last longer, at least on my skin. If you like smelling different, if you love Far Away but want it to last longer, do not hesitate to go for this wonder. If you cannot spend much, stick with Far Away.

  • Garzafumfum

I admit it is a great perfume and I am a huge fan of Natura, and although I love jasmine, with this one I could not and cannot (I have used it twice); I will give it another opportunity before selling it. I found it too overwhelming, and even though I am a fan of Alien, on me it is a resounding no. I hope something changes over time, as happened with other perfumes that I did not like at first but came to love after letting them rest.

  • I have a sample and it was a surprise. It truly lives up to its name: it’s unique, a nature gem. Although it’s completely far from my taste for fresh florals, it caught my attention. I sense a present and charming pepper, balsamic notes I can’t quite identify, but I didn’t perceive any flowers. It could easily be unisex. Pepper, woods, and balsam are very well harmonised; for my nose, they have a medicinal hint, something slightly bitter. For those who enjoy this olfactive family, I recommend trying it. Duration is very good, as with almost all in the Essential line.

  • danzaesencia

I am perplexed! The notes of Egyptian jasmine harvested along the Nile banks by the women of the region are a constant and predominant note. Jasmine was a key piece for Coco Chanel; perhaps that is why it reminded me of a recent, soft version of Chanel No. 5, and when vetiver emerges, it recalls her iconic Chanel 19, thank God without its animal note. I swear it has aldehydes and its olfactive path intersects with YSL’s Rive Gauche when it is talc-like. Curiously, it suited my mother more, appearing ‘brighter’ and on her, it reminded me greatly of YSL’s Libre. And there is a point that fascinates me, perhaps due to the vanilla: the fruits collaging with the flowers remind me of my beloved Dior Poison but in a very soft version. Good projection and sillage. I bought it blindly, expecting, based on the notes and reviews, to find a fusion of Esta Flor Jasmin mixed with Flor do Lugar, but that was not the case. A timeless jewel for those who enjoy deep, personality-filled scents. Jasmine and vanilla are aphrodisiacs, creating an atmosphere of sensuality alongside the respect radiated by the woods. It still has a difficult halo to decipher for me. I am happy with this acquisition worthy of collection.

  • This Natura line is characterised by its particularly strong base scent, with the other notes adding a special touch to each perfume. I have not felt the rose or any other flower at any time; on me, the woody and balsamic aromas fix well (just like the Essential Myrrh and Vanilla), while the others go unnoticed. The vetiver makes it unisex. Longevity 9, sillage 9.

  • danzaesencia

I was left speechless: the Egyptian jasmine harvested by women along the Nile is a constant and predominant note. As jasmine was key to Coco Chanel, it reminded me of a recent, softer version of Chanel No. 5, and when the vetiver emerges, I think of Chanel 19, thank goodness without its animal note. I’d swear it has aldehydes and its olfactory evolution crosses paths with YSL’s Rive Gauche in its dry-down. My mum found it more ‘luminous’ on her, and on her it reminded me of YSL’s Libre. There’s one aspect that fascinates me, perhaps due to the vanilla: the fruits collaging with the flowers remind me of my beloved Dior Poison, but in a very soft version. It has good projection and trail. I bought it blind, hoping for a fusion of Esta Flor Jasmin and Flor do Lugar, but that wasn’t the case. It’s a timeless treasure for those who enjoy deep, characterful scents. Jasmine and vanilla are aphrodisiacs that create sensuality alongside the respect for the woods. It still has a difficult halo to decipher for me. I’m happy with this acquisition worthy of collection.

  • I have a sample and it was a surprise. It truly lives up to its name: it is unique, a jewel from Natura. Although it is totally far from my olfactory orientation (fresh florals), it captured my attention. I sense a present and charming pepper, balsamic notes I cannot identify, but I did not perceive flowers. It could easily be unisex. Pepper, woods, and balsam are very well harmonised; for my nose, it has a medicinal hint, something slightly bitter. For those who enjoy this olfactive family, I recommend trying it. • This Natura line is characterised by its particularly strong base scent, with the other notes then adding a special touch to each perfume. I haven’t sensed the rose or any other flower at any point; on me, the woody and balsamic aromas stand out well (just like the Essential Mirra and Vanilla), while the others go unnoticed. The vetiver makes it unisex. Longevity 9, trail 9.

  • Arrived in Argentina yesterday and tried it today: what a gem. It feels feminine, yet a brave man who isn’t intimidated by florals could wear it too. Jasmine and rose dominate from the start, blended with fruits, soft woods, and copaiba. It smells like nothing else in the catalogue; it’s incredibly original. To sum up, it’s excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it if it’s on offer.

  • I know Instinct is coming in cycle 6, followed by Homem Tato as they usually offer samples in that cycle, and shortly after they’ll launch the Essential Mirra since it’s featured in an awards category (all in Argentina). But there might be other releases; we can’t predict them…
