The little robot dresses up for the occasion, dusting its face, ears, and even its coat with iris powder, because it associates elegance with smelling like a vanity, with makeup, with iris. The opening is very well done, rich in nuances, and creates a rich, diverse aura with an appealing touch of elegance. As it dries, all the aromas weave together into something flatter, though still pretty. The evaporated iris leaves the vanity empty, yet with a clean scent of the lingering traces of the notes that were there initially. It smells like a vanity perfume, such as Tiffany, some Guerlain scents, Lipstick Rose, Guilty…

I truly have an aversion to these Robot bottles; they look horrendous to me. However, this edition looks cuter, and the notes make it the one I’d love to own above all others. Although the previous ones don’t smell bad, I don’t feel like I’d want to own them. This limited edition, purely for the collection, is worth it, and those notes are enchanting. I hope it’s available in various places and doesn’t become as elusive as some limited editions.

Has anyone noticed this smells exactly like Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musk? I tried Burberry’s Goddess Intense before this Fame. On my wrist, I felt absolutely nothing, so they swabbed it onto a piece of paper for me to take home. At home, the scent does appear, though the iris that gave it its similarity fades away. It’s lovely, just not standout. For me, I still prefer the original Fame; they have nothing in common except the name.

I spotted the bottle in a shop yesterday and thought the staff had dressed up as robots. I considered trying it, but since I absolutely dislike the original Fame, I made the mistake of not taking a second look. What a pity, because the notes seem perfect for me. Edit: I finally managed to try it yesterday, and meh. It’s the biggest ‘meh’ I’ve had from the brand. Considering what Paco Rabanne has achieved…

It carries the DNA of the classic Fame very clearly, and with the frankincense and iris notes, it becomes an elegant winter tropical fragrance. It’s not overwhelming as I feared; quite the opposite, it’s well-rounded. I even like it more than the original, which has a soapy edge that doesn’t sit well with its sweet fruity base. Beautiful bottle; I would buy it without hesitation.

I had the chance to try it in the store and it’s very lovely. I wasn’t familiar with its notes, and now that I’ve seen them, I didn’t think I would like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. If I get the chance to buy it, I certainly will.

It’s the only robot in the Fame line that actually makes sense. Apart from the bottle, it’s a distinguished and long-lasting fragrance. The iris is very prominent, and I can smell quite a bit of frankincense. I would love to own it.

I absolutely loved it! It’s addictive and elegant. It doesn’t resemble the original; without the mango, it’s not the same Fame, but it’s beautiful all the same. I want it on my wishlist.
