About Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha
Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha: Zara’s Latest Perfume by Jo Malone
Zara’s Firenze Per Due collection has a new chapter: Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha. Composed by master perfumer Jo Malone, this fragrance debuts in 2026 as an elegant, contemporary release.
Falling into the woody floral musk family, it brings together the airy softness of violet and the rich warmth of coffee and mocha, sitting on a bed of sandalwood and musk. The result is an olfactory journey between comfort and refinement.
The opening of Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha is all about a delicately powdered violet, which soon dissolves into a heart of roasted coffee and sweet mocha, touched with gentle spice. As it settles, sandalwood and musk lend a creamy, lasting base that feels both intimate and smooth.
The fragrance plays cleverly with contrasts: the powdery and woody accords are spiked with a hint of gourmand sweetness, mimicking the smell of a frothy cappuccino dusted with cocoa. It remains elegant throughout, never too loud or too sweet.
As expected from Jo Malone, the construction is refined and effortless. Longevity is moderate, with a skin-close sillage that invites closer inspection rather than announcing itself. For many, that will be a strength.
The packaging follows the understated style of the Firenze Per Due line, with a clean, simple flacon that focuses attention on the scent itself. Early wearers have given it an average of 4.47 out of 5 across 15 votes, with 3 written reviews so far, praising its versatility and comfort.
Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha feels like a quiet luxury that’s easy to wear and easy to love, offering an approachable alternative to niche perfume pricing.
This perfume suits those who value a cosy, unisex scent, especially fans of powdery florals and soft gourmands, as well as anyone who appreciates elegant, understated fragrance.
Firenze Per Due Violet & Mocha is a winning combination of violet’s charm and mocha’s warmth, guided by Jo Malone’s subtle hand. It’s an accessible yet sophisticated addition to the Firenze Per Due range, and one we can happily recommend.

Within Jo Malone’s new collection with Zara, this one is by far the most thought-provoking. As someone who knows and owns quite a few perfumes from this premium Zara line, I find this one harder to define. It opens with a rich, realistic violet, and after a minute I can’t say much more than a slightly toasted/woody/clean scent. I know it’s not the best description, but that’s how I experience it. The coffee, at least, I don’t detect at all. To finish, I’d say it’s a rich, distinctive, minimalist and elegant scent (the usual trend with Jo Malone x Zara), with good longevity and reduced projection—a personal scent bubble.
A real gem at this price. The scent that remains on the skin after application is intoxicating. A clean violet with musky undertones that last for ages. I don’t detect the coffee that much, and I think it’s a perfect fragrance for cold days, formal occasions and dates. It doesn’t project too much, but I don’t think it’s meant to. 8.5 out of 10.
The initial opening is violet but short-lived; then the mocha/coffee comes through and dominates the whole fragrance from beginning to end. At the end it blends with the musk and gives a soapy touch that isn’t bad, but quite honestly, I don’t fancy going around smelling of coffee. Longevity is pretty good.

In the new Jo Malone x Zara collection, this one is by far the most evocative. It is true that, being a connoisseur and owner of quite a few fragrances from this premium Zara line, this perfume is harder to define. Its opening is a rich and realistic violet, and after a minute I cannot say much more than a slightly toasted/woody/clean aroma. I know it is not the best of descriptions, but that is how I feel it. With good longevity and reduced projection, a personal bubble.
Initial opening of violet but very short-lived; next comes the mocha/coffee, which is what predominates throughout the entire fragrance from start to finish; in the final part it blends with musk and gives a soapy touch that is not bad, but honestly, I do not fancy going around smelling of coffee. Quite good longevity.
