The opening is truly citrusy, with pink pepper making the mandarin not a sweet fruit, but the acid of the skin when squeezed. That citrus note fades slightly in the heart, where the opening incense remains until the end. The floral heart notes are balanced but hidden beneath that incense. Then, in the base, the florals fade away to reveal a balsamic vanilla that is not sweet, matching the incense in a perfect tandem. The projection and longevity are moderate. To finish: it is not a unique or unforgettable scent, as it follows a known style, but it is undeniable that the ingredients and craftsmanship denote top-tier quality and professionalism.

  Greetings. This fragrance is classified on the official Mancera website for both men and women, so it is unisex, although personally, given its traits, I lean towards the masculine side. Here is why: the opening is truly citrusy, boosted by pink pepper, as the mandarin note is not that of a ripe, fleshy fruit, but the acid aroma of the skin when squeezed. That citrus touch also accompanies the heart, albeit more softly. The opening incense, which appears at the start, remains present until the end. The floral heart notes are balanced without any one standing out, but always under the shadow of the incense. Afterwards, in the base, the florals disappear to give way to a balsamic vanilla that is not sweet, which equals the incense and accompanies it in tandem. On another note, I consider the projection and longevity to be moderate. Finally, I wish to underline two points: first, that it is not a unique or unforgettable scent, as it belongs to a known style; second, I can firmly state that the components and the work denote very good quality and great professionalism.

  In my view, _I.V_ described it perfectly: it is a perfume that is not entirely understandable. The only clear thing is its potency; on me, it is eternal and very strong. I wore it on a Monday and detested it because the mandarin was too prominent in such a heavy context, but by Tuesday I loved it, perceiving only the incense and coffee over that dense base. It is different from anything I own. I need more testing, but to summarise: it is heavy, very sweetly artificial over a base of incense and coffee.

I remain selective with the note, but I discovered a passionate world behind that curtain. On my skin, the opening is both citrusy and smoky: a sharp, acidic mandarin wrapped in an incense that marks the beginning with force. Within minutes, a black coffee appears, bitter as freshly roasted beans, while simultaneously projecting an ethereal cleanliness that is hard to describe. It is disconcerting and fascinating, a sensation that is difficult to comprehend. When it dries, the citrus relaxes and the coffee dissolves. A slightly balsamic vanilla takes the lead alongside the incense that never disappears. Gold Incense is a warm embrace. I feel it as a present energy that grazes the skin with a subtle shiver and leaves a calm, protective caress.
