  • I bought it last week and it’s delicious, very gourmand as its name suggests. On the Zara website they list Fragrantica notes, but the box describes more: caramel, chocolate and vanilla. I don’t detect the peach, perhaps it blends in, but it’s more caramel with some flower and maybe the peach. It has good projection and lasts a long time on the skin. Strong at first, but like all Zara perfumes you need to reapply; besides, it’s so addictive that you want to keep smelling the potency, which is why I reapply. Without reapplying it leaves a noticeable soft sillage, but I need more doses, haha.

  • It’s brilliant, I love it, and it seems to be one of those that lasts… that’s why the 10ml vial I have, I wanted to try it before buying the large one. It reminds me a lot of another one I have from recently and which I adore: I Am by Juicy Couture.

  • I think the notes for this perfume have been confused, as it is crystal clear that it is gourmand and has caramel notes 🙁

  • This eau de toilette, as its name suggests, is gourmand (I don’t understand why the website lists it as chypre) and it’s delicious. I also can’t see why they claim it has few notes, when clearly there are three more than declared and they are very noticeable. It starts with patchouli, a bit of peach and vanilla. Then the peach gives way to chocolate mixed with caramel (almost honeyed) and finishes with a caramel-vanilla base while keeping the patchouli throughout. It lasts 3-4 hours, which is normal for an EDT. Being the cheapest line from Zara (day collection), it’s a relief that it has good longevity and sillage. It’s an affordable fragrance that smells expensive.

Smells incredible, almost addictive, but the major drawback is that it lasts a mere breath. What a pity; I’ve tried it several times and on my skin it doesn’t last more than half an hour. My daughter has confirmed this too. It’s truly a shame, as we absolutely love this body mist.

It smells amazing, almost addictive, but the big flaw is that it lasts a breath. What a pity, I’ve tried it several times and on my skin it doesn’t last more than half an hour. My daughter has confirmed it too. It’s really a shame, as we absolutely love this eau de toilette.

  • Smells very good, sweet but soft, nothing cloying. On my skin, it smells like a soft vanilla cake. Also, the price is very good (if I remember correctly, 200ml for €13). PROBLEM: it doesn’t last a wink on me, so I don’t think I’ll repeat; plus, the sillage is very soft, right up against the skin. It’s a perfect perfume for going to bed.

  • I applied it to my arm because I saw it in the physical store and liked the smell a lot. I read it was a dupe for Scandal, but I don’t see it as that similar. Very nice, fruity, and sweet, but without Scandal’s typical honey. That one spray lasted quite a while on my skin. I’ll buy it next time I go.

  • I bought the new refillable version, but it just doesn’t work for me and I don’t think it will improve with age. It smells of peach, blackcurrant, honey or caramel with a vanilla base (it yellows very quickly). The opening is very alcoholic. The longevity is light, though it has potential for blending. The downside is that the resemblance to Scandal is only that it leaves the skin sticky; with Scandal it doesn’t matter because the scent holds, whereas here it doesn’t last an hour and leaves the skin dry as if you hadn’t sweated at all.

  • Gourmand Addict is a very economical, versatile, informal and pleasant perfume. I think the notes are wrong because I detect none of what is mentioned; I’m surprised they are the same as the brand. It doesn’t remind me of Olympea or Scandal, but rather of Pure XS and Lady Million, like a hybrid of both. It has salty vanilla with a floral background of orange blossom and a hint of honey. It feels somewhat linear and I feel I could get tired of it if I wore it every day, something I also feel with Paco Rabanne perfumes. It has moderate sillage and lasts 3-4 hours on my skin, but longer on clothes. If you like Lady Million or Pure XS, it’s a minimal investment, especially on sale, and a good option for informal occasions or staying at home. I don’t love it but I like it. Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 3.5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 8/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? Maybe.

  • I tested it on my arm because I saw it in a physical store and I really liked the scent. I read they said it was a dupe of Scandal, but I don’t see it as similar. Very nice, fruity and sweet, but I don’t perceive the characteristic honey of Scandal. That spray lasted quite a while on my skin. I’ll buy it next time I go out.

  • I have the new refillable version and I can’t quite get the hang of it; I don’t think it will improve with time. As it is, it’s peach, blackcurrant, honey, or caramel with a vanilla base (because it turns yellow quickly), with a very alcoholic opening. Light longevity, but I see possibilities for layering. The downside is that its resemblance to Scandal boils down to leaving your skin sticky; with Scandal you don’t mind because the scent lingers, but this one doesn’t last an hour and leaves your skin dry as if you hadn’t sweated.

  • Gourmand Addict is very economical, versatile, informal, and pleasant. I think the notes are wrong because I detect nothing of what they claim; I’m surprised the brand declares them the same. It doesn’t remind me of Olympea or Scandal, but rather Pure XS and Lady Million; to my nose, it’s a hybrid of both. It has salty vanilla with a neroli floral base and a touch of honey. It’s a bit linear, and I think I’d get tired of it if I wore it every day, just like with the Paco Rabanne ones. Moderate sillage, lasts 3-4h on skin but longer on clothes. If you like Lady Million or Pure XS, it’s a minimal investment, especially on sale, ideal for informal occasions or at home. I don’t love it, but I like it. • I just bought mine during the latest Zara app sales: 90ml for €1.99. I’m not sure if I’ll like it, but at that price, I didn’t even think twice. I believe, as every season, they clear out old stock to change the bottle format or box design.

  • I smell something similar to Lady Million (though not the same), nothing of Scandal or Black Opium. It has a citrus opening that sweetens with peach and benzoin (which gives it that white honey note) and a soft patchouli (I usually find patchouli bitter, but here it works). It also smells slightly of white floral and musk. Soft sillage, lasts 3h30 on skin. It’s one of Zara’s cheapest lines, very versatile, and you can buy it blind. It doesn’t captivate me (nor does Lady Million), so I wouldn’t buy it, but it’s not a bad option.

  • I like it. Supposedly a dupe for Scandal but with less character. I wear it to the office; the truth is, it doesn’t last on the skin at all and has very little sillage.

  • Cherrylicious

Absolutely delicious, more nocturnal and potent. I love it. Sweet, feminine, and sexy. Good longevity on skin and clothes.

Gourmand… barely there. It’s like a Scandal without the honey and a Black Opium without the coffee. A bit insipid and watery; sweet, yes, but more like Splenda. It doesn’t disgust me, but it doesn’t win my heart either. I hunted for it for ages, and my expectations let me down.
