Luna Rubí is the Natura fragrance that caught my attention most this year (2020). I must say that Natura perfumes are very good, in my opinion. Regardless of the scent, almost all of them, absolutely, fix on my skin in an excellent way (with the exception of some body splashes and waters, which I don’t feel have good longevity, but it’s logical as the concentration can’t be compared to an eau de toilette or eau de parfum). I believe many Natura fragrances have nothing to envy to much more expensive perfumes; I simply love this brand! Some of the brand’s scents are quite complex, and that’s what I love! But with Luna Rubí, it’s not the case, at least to my personal taste. I was really attracted by its description, thinking it could be incredible, rich, and sensual, and I must say sensual is… For me, it’s attractive, for better or worse, meaning it causes attraction and memory, surely. I don’t think it’s a perfume that will please everyone. I also recognise that I’ve never smelled a similar perfume (it’s true I don’t have much knowledge on the subject, but I have used many different fragrances in my life; I’m not one of those people who wears the same perfume for years, but rather I keep trying new things). I perceive Luna Rubí as very sweet yet very herbal and woody. I love sweet perfumes that smell of vanilla, honey, and caramel, but this isn’t the case. I feel it’s a mix of pure herbs, woods, and honey (I know what I describe is rare, but in Argentina there are herbal drinks taken as aperitifs; when I first smelled Luna Rubí, in my memory it resembled those drinks but with a very marked sweet touch). I note it as spicy, even slightly peppery, extremely strong, and yes, on my skin and especially on clothes, it lasted for hours. To say that I atomised it one afternoon, went to bed almost at dawn the next night, woke up, and still perceived it very concentrated. I showered, and although some of the scent faded, I could still smell it. It never left the clothes until I washed them. It’s a scent I don’t much like, but it fixes excellently! I wouldn’t say it’s purely feminine; in itself, it’s very strange… for a feminine perfume, on my skin and in my olfaction, it’s perceived with a masculine tinge and like a men’s perfume (although it’s catalogued as feminine), I feel it’s very sweet. That’s why I can’t categorise it as a totally women’s perfume, in my opinion. Anyway, I will use it on some special occasions, as for my style, it’s not a daily perfume, nor one I’d use casually, nor a scent I’d enjoy using frequently, but I’ll try to give it opportunities. Honestly, I haven’t used it yet; I only atomised it twice to test it. I’ve had it for two months and haven’t found an occasion to use it. And although I don’t guide myself by the seasons regarding scents because I love intense and sweet aromas for any occasion and they generally don’t bother me even in summer, this perfume with much heat and during the day, I wouldn’t recommend it. I feel it would look very good on special occasions where it merits standing out and making a presence with an exotic scent, always with moderate use, at night or in the afternoon, and in cool to cold weather.

Ruby Moon is the Natura perfume that caught my attention the most this year (2020). Natura perfumes are excellent; they last wonderfully on my skin (with the occasional exception of some body splashes). I believe many Natura fragrances have nothing to envy from designer brands. Some are complex, which I adore, but that’s not the case with Ruby Moon, in my opinion. I was very drawn to its description; I thought it would be incredible, rich, and sensual. It is sensual, it attracts and lingers in the memory, certainly. I don’t think everyone will like it. I admit I don’t know much about the subject, but I have used many fragrances. I find it very sweet, herbal, and woody. I love vanilla or honey sweets, but this isn’t one of them. It feels like a blend of herbs, woods, and honey (unusual, but in Argentina there are herbal drinks that resemble it, only with a marked sweet touch). I detect spicy, peppery notes, extremely strong, and it lasts a long time. I atomised it one afternoon and still felt it concentrated at dawn. I showered and could still smell it; it never left my clothes until I washed them. I don’t like it much, but it fixes excellently. It’s not purely feminine; on my skin, it has a masculine hint, although it is categorised as such. I wouldn’t pigeonhole it as a women’s perfume. I will use it for special occasions; it’s not for daily or casual wear, but I will give it opportunities. Honestly, I haven’t worn it, only atomised it twice. I’ve had it for two months and haven’t found an occasion. I wouldn’t recommend it for hot daytime weather; it suits special occasions to stand out with an exotic aroma, used moderately, in the evening or late afternoon in cool weather.

I have just received a sample. On cardstock it is a very interesting perfume. It opens with somewhat powdery and golden floral notes. Then it becomes more creamy, the pink pepper seems to take body and a rather murky and not very noticeable rose appears. Then the pepper drops almost entirely and stays creamy for a while. This moment is very interesting because it seems to play between opposites, between golds and creams… Then it becomes a bit citrusy, the contribution of the pripioca starts to be felt, soft, not in such quantity… And there follows an earthy rose, somewhat citrusy, somewhat dirty, mixed with the pripioca and some of the typical Luna line patchouli. It never ceases to surprise me. Tomorrow I will test it on skin and comment… On the skin I do not perceive the opening as strong, it is a bit luminous but not as much as on the card… I perceive it moving between the creamy and the earthy/powdery. I think what gives it that earthiness and a certain dirty character is the cinnamon. The cinnamon note is quite intense. It has been 40 minutes on my hand and up to here I would say the scent is a combination of rose and cinnamon, with pripioca and some spices (in the style of 5-spice sweet breads). Now more time has passed and there is still a note I know and cannot identify, something plastic-y but lovely lovely… Will it be the acaramelled rose with the pripioca? Certainly it has quite a bit of pripioca – not as main as in Magia da Floresta, but it is there. As hours pass, it takes on a more citrusy nuance, surely from the pripioca, and the cinnamon drops. PD: actually it is not the known cinnamon it has, but ‘ish pink’ which is an ‘Amazonian cinnamon’.

I do not recommend buying blind as the scent changes significantly depending on pH; on me, the rose with spices predominates. The first time I atomised it, one spray on my wrist flooded the room. Black pepper and floral notes are apparent at the start, although I do not detect the almond. The fragrance develops as a blend of earthy and spicy flowers where the rose is the protagonist. I can detect the cinnamon, spices, woods, and red rose. At times, that honeyed touch of the pripioca appears, giving it sweetness, but I do not consider it a sweet perfume. What I enjoy most is how it evolves on the skin over time, with very interesting nuances. It offers a pleasant sensory experience until the last hours, where only a scent similar to rose with incense remains. It has very good longevity on my pH, around 8 hours. The projection is moderate for the first hour and a half. I feel it is a perfume for cold weather, for day and night. I find it difficult to find occasions for use. With this, I do not mean it is ugly; it is not a scent that will please everyone, which is why I see it as akin to a niche fragrance.

This review is based on the sample sent by Natura. Let me see, how to explain it: it is a slap in the face of Ishpink and pripioca with a rather sugary tone. On my skin, it smells like a mixture of Novalgina and wood… A real pity. From the bottle it smells good, interesting, sweet, and striking. I think it is for a certain pH and for a very specific taste. I agree that it definitely falls into the niche perfume category. As soon as I put it on, it felt quite good because clearly it is well constructed, but within seconds it turned into a haze I could not bear. To make matters worse, it is super persistent, with a very marked sillage, and that does not help if the perfume does not sit well on your skin. I would definitely only recommend it to smokers who want very potent scents, fans of the Luna Intense, or lovers of earthy tones. Those who like sweet perfumes should be careful, because sweet is… but the pripioca makes itself felt, and a lot, and that may not please those looking for less woody or powdery sweets. It is not a bad perfume… Yes, a difficult perfume and not for everyone.

An excellent fragrance from Natura. It begins complex and dramatic; at first, the notes aren’t quite discernible, but later each one shines in a well-crafted cosmos. This happens with several of this house’s scents where, suddenly, I become anosmic to their aromas, while in other facets, I feel the perfume flooding the air. I’ve read the same thing, so I’m not alone. It’s curious; it happens with Luna Rubí too. After the initial burst, pink pepper and potent flowers emerge, before settling into a creamy scent, slightly almond-like with hints of cinnamon. A deep rose recalls Cartier’s Declaration d’Un Soir (and it’s somewhat reminiscent of Natura’s Alma), settling down to add an aquatic and fresh touch. The dry-down, after a long time, is that soft rose with the ishpink slightly sweet. Luna Rubí is very particular; I don’t recommend buying blind (I did and got lucky), but if you like it, it’s a great experience. Natura proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to have niche quality.

Excellent fragrance from Natura. The scent starts complex and dramatic; initially the notes aren’t quite discernible, but later they unfold into an incredible cosmos. This happens with several of this house’s creations where I become anosmic in moments, yet in other facets the perfume floods the air. I’ve read similar experiences. With Luna Rubí, it’s the same: after the initial burst, rose pepper and potent flowers emerge, before settling into a creamy, slightly almond-scented aroma with hints of cinnamon. A rose reminiscent of Cartier’s Declaration d’Un Soir (approaching Alma by Natura) rises from the creamy forest, lending an aquatic, fresh touch. The dry-down rests on that soft rose with a lightly sweet pink hue. Luna Rubí is very particular; I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind (I did and got lucky), but if you like it, it’s a wonderful experience. Today in the afternoon, the Luna Rubí from Argentina arrived. I detect it slightly more fruity than the Brazilian one. Neither lasts long, about 5 hours (a bit more very close to the skin). What I think is different is that the Brazilian dries down to a well-matched earthy patchouli, similar to the Luna Intense, whereas in the Argentine it does not stand out so much (which is why I suppose it feels a bit more fruity and a little less complex). Otherwise, they are the same… I say this only because one could consider applying some patchouli oil before putting on the perfume… I did not try it, it is just a suggestion… Anyway, it is muuuy pleasant as is, a bit more fruity… I think it is even easier to smell, less strange… I would even dare to say the Brazilian works for unisex, and the Argentine a little less… But it might still please a man.

This test is with a Natura sample. It’s a bomb of iris and pepper with a very sweet touch. On my skin, it smells like a mix of Novalgina and wood… what a pity. From the bottle, it smells good, interesting, and striking; I think it’s for a specific ph and taste. I agree it’s niche. At first, it felt good, well-constructed, but by the second hour it turned into an unbearable haze. Plus, it’s super persistent with a marked trail, and that doesn’t help if it doesn’t suit the skin. I’d only recommend it to smokers looking for potent aromas, fans of Luna Intenso, or those who love earthy scents. For those who prefer sweet perfumes, proceed with caution, as the pepper is noticeable and may not appeal to those seeking less woody or powdery sweetness. It’s not a bad perfume… just a difficult one, not for everyone.

Sometimes buying blind has its advantages… or not. Reading the notes ‘warm spicy, roses, cinnamon’, I thought nothing more could be asked. A week later, holding the bottle and brimming with excitement, I sensed a divine sweetness. But once I sprayed it on my skin, the dilemma began: because cheap doesn’t mean good. That dissonant note that makes me recoil is called Ishpink (even the name sounds like a pinch in the nose). Highly repulsive to those without olfactory culture, it generates equal parts love and hate. However, the scales tipped towards love (I suppose my nose has already got used to the pinch) because the other notes are so masterfully combined that it is impossible not to value this controversial perfume. Be warned, use it with moderation, it’s a bomb in terms of longevity and sillage!

I loved Luna Rubí. I perceive it as unisex and quite spicy. The cinnamon is peppery, and the dry-down has a soft, fresh sweetness. I truly adore that blend of roses with spices and a woody base. It has a very niche style, like Mancera’s famous unisex scents. Longevity is medium at around 6 hours, with high projection without being overwhelming in the first hour. I perfectly understand why they say it’s not for everyone. It must be that slightly dirty, chaotic opening, very spicy, as if it had earthy patchouli. As minutes pass, the scent organises and settles, a behaviour very ‘typical of niche’. I enjoy it greatly; it fell into my hands while testing Natura options to gift to the women in my family. Luna Rubí appeared in the samples, I tried it, and said: this one stays with me.

I really loved Luna Rubí. It feels unisex and quite spicy. The cinnamon is pleasantly piquant, and the dry-down has a soft, fresh sweetness. I adore that blend of roses with spices and a woody base. It’s very niche-style, akin to Mancera’s unisex fragrances. Lasts about six hours with strong projection without being overwhelming in the first hour. I understand why some say it’s not for everyone: the opening is dirty, chaotic, very spicy, and features an earthy patchouli. Over time, it settles into a very niche behaviour. I enjoy it immensely; it came to me while sampling Natura options to gift to the women in my family. It was in the samples, I smelled it, and thought: this one is staying with me.

Luna Rubí is potent, it is not for anyone, it lasts long and that although I do not notice perfumes. It has a vintage vibe and is sweetly spicy. If you like warm spices, here it is. If you look for almonds or cinnamon, I do not feel them, nor woods… it is a cocktail of ‘condiments’ over some crushed rose petals with pink pepper. I feel bursts of spicy rose throughout the life of the perfume, something annoying if you over-spray and somewhat tiring, but a while without using it already makes me miss it; it has something addictive and at the same time tiring and so, in a loop… beautiful and totally different from what I smelled from Natura’s feminines.

Luna Rubí is potent, not for everyone, lasts a long time, and that’s despite the fact I don’t usually notice perfumes. It has a vintage vibe and is sweetly spiced. If you like warm spices, you’re here. If you’re looking for almonds or cinnamon, you won’t find them, nor woods. It’s a cocktail of ‘condiments’ over crushed rose petals with pink pepper. Beautiful and totally different from what I’ve smelled from Natura’s females.

Like the others, it’s strong and very particular. Upon application, I first sensed pink pepper and spices, then sweet almonds and rose. For thirty minutes, it oscillated between spices and sweet almonds (like a flan with bolognese sauce) or spices and rose (reminded me of the first Kate Moss scent). Until everything settled and… wow! It became a spicy, spiced, and original aroma (goodbye sandalwood and musk, they aren’t needed here). In the base, there’s a soft sweetness to relax and prevent the chest from feeling tight with so many condiments. What more can be said, very original, excellent combination of scents.

Luna Rubí is like a shopping sunset in India, stepping into a small shop with doors ajar, where upon entering we find bowls of assorted spices arranged in a circle on a wooden tray adorned with rose petals and cinnamon pods. It’s not for blind buying; it’s a perfumery construction that is scarce and stands out among so many. I catalogue it as ultra-mystical and seductive. Totally unisex, neither masculine nor feminine, it’s the true unisex with all that implies. A bold proposal from Natura. Excellent longevity, over 10 hours on my skin. Trail and projection are impeccable, intense for the first 5 hours.

Ooh, after a few months I finally received the bottle!! And I sprayed it on my arm… In the meantime I lost the sample so I had not smelled it again… What a beauty please. Total passion! What a perfumazo! This and the Luna Intense are two gems. It is quite more complex when sprayed than tested from the sample. It has salty touches but which are an effect of the spiciness of the Amazonian cinnamon (Ishpink). This could well be a niche perfume – and if not, it fits the bill! For me it is a first-class composition. I take my hat off to Verónica Kato, it seems her nose and her hand have learned a lot.
Fucsia
As they say, it’s strong and very distinctive. Upon application, you first note pink pepper and spices; then come the sweet almonds and the rose. For about 30 minutes, it oscillates between spices with almond (rare, like flan with Bolognese sauce) and spices with rose (reminds me of Kate Moss’s first perfume). Until everything settles and… wow! It becomes a spicy, original blend (goodbye sandalwood and musk, it doesn’t need them here). In the base, there’s a soft sweetness that relaxes and prevents you from being overwhelmed by so many condiments. Very original, excellent blend 👏👏👏

I laugh at the fact that Luna Rubí doesn’t score higher here. Perhaps it’s due to previous reviews calling it a risky Natura gamble and a very authentic fragrance when it launched. It’s not mass-appeal or to most people’s taste. I adore its roses, pink pepper, warm spices, and woods. As autumn begins, I pull it out of the drawer. The trail and projection are strong; I wore it in the morning and before my evening shower, Luna Rubí still lingered. Another treasure I hope gets relaunched in the Mexican magazine and in all countries where it’s sold ❤️

An exquisite, sensual perfume for an interesting woman. I bought it blind; many controversial reviews, but in the end, I was surprised—it’s very lovely. It stands out from my collection. You can smell the pepper and spices in a sweet, sensual way. Cinnamon is present, along with the woods; it smells like an executive woman. Longevity on my skin is moderate, as is the trail; I didn’t experience that great longevity people talk about. I think it’s suitable for almost any season and age, but always for nights or formal events. I would buy it again.

The opening scent isn’t that rich, but a few seconds later it opens up wonderfully. It smells olfactively like Luna Radiante; the Luna scents from Natura share the same stamp. Personally, I liked this one more; at a certain point, it gives mentholated and spiced sensations, with a sweetness I learned to love from Amor Repio, although I feel this Rubí is more elegant, suitable for the office or for the night. After hours, it’s still felt on the skin, ending as a soft talc, after 8 hours.

Natura succeeds in creating sweetnesses that evoke fresh things; in this case, it feels very sweet, but also a fresh rose that, when mashed with spices and the touch of cinnamon, gives a somewhat confused sensation. I am testing it on paper, of course, it must vary somewhat on the skin. Quite feminine, youthful, and appropriate for these times. However, I think that an over-application of this and you can already make those nearby sneeze; lovely scent, moderation is the key with this.
Meleagrina80
One of the best in the Natura Luna line. It’s a perfume of excellent quality, longevity, and trail. Its scent is special, rare, sweet, and for winter. It has an acidic touch I’m not sure where from, but it could be paprika, which adds its sweetness. I don’t smell the rose or the pepper. For me, other spices stand out, although the cinnamon isn’t perceived pure. The almond is non-existent; you won’t find it here. But the combination of notes makes this perfume very special and unique.

I tried it from a Natura decant and loved it; I’ll definitely be buying it. I’d describe it as mysterious, sophisticated, and sensual for special occasions. I’m surprised they label it unisex; to me, it feels very feminine with a luxurious presence. It smells like an expensive perfume, not for everyone. At 800 pesos for 50ml, it’s not cheap, but every centavo is worth it. I’d reserve it for very special events, so I doubt I’ll buy it right now as I already have too many perfumes.
Meleagrina80
The Luna line from Natura has its finest offering here. Top-tier quality, with a trail and longevity that are enchanting. The scent is special, rare, sweet, and perfect for winter. It has an acidic note I can’t quite place; perhaps it comes from the paprika that gives it that sweetness. I don’t detect the rose or the pepper, but rather other spices that stand out, although the cinnamon isn’t pure and the almond note is absent. Yet, the blend makes it unique and truly special.
nandynna
It’s never for blind buying, unless you love having a halo of smoke follow you wherever you go. I’m fascinated by its notes, until they settle and start smouldering their woods for about 8 hours on my skin. The smoky part kills me; all the beauty of this perfume is incinerated by that smoky potency that persists and invades everything. I find a lack of balance and regret that they ruined this perfume of such beautiful notes by emphasising its unbearable smoke note.
ConiCaresani
To me, it’s the female version of Carolina Herrera’s Central Park, it’s identical, just more woody. That’s why I bought it, as it reminded me of that perfume I couldn’t own at the time. It’s floral yet woody, chypre-style; the pink pepper is noticeable, but it has that sweet touch and a woody base at the end. It doesn’t have as many florals as Central Park, but it transports me back to an autumn afternoon having an outdoor picnic.
Paula1989
Beautiful fragrance. I have a sample and I think it is a very feminine and seductive scent. I feel a very interesting complement between a red fruit and a powdery aroma, with a distant rose in the background. I am not good at describing fragrances but this is a work of art; nonetheless, the classic Luna did not have good persistence on my skin, we will see what happens with this one. It maintains the earthy touch of the line.
sc
It is a fragrance of very good quality and extremely long-lasting, but at the same time very invasive. It is one of those few perfumes where you feel yourself throughout the whole day and it can be somewhat tiring. It is really one of the most intense perfumes I have tried. I advise testing it on skin before buying it because it is not really for everyone, it is for a very specific taste.
Delfisie
Today I received this perfume in an exchange and I loved it. My experience wasn’t what I expected from the comments, but that didn’t mean I didn’t like it—I loved it! 😍 I was keen to buy Delilah and surprisingly, it’s very much in that vein; the pink pepper and rose sit beautifully on my skin. Divine. It’s not as sweet and full-bodied as other Luna line scents.
