Hello, it smells fruity with a green touch in the middle, very sweet and fresh, almost skin-scented. Then come heavy woody notes which, for some, can be a bit nauseating. It works brilliantly in temperate or neutral climates, though it also holds up in the cold. The opening is very striking and pleasant, but the longevity is minimal, around an hour, after which it lingers only faintly on the skin.
Oboticario is the benchmark for Brazilian perfumery, with its Malbec line being the best-seller. I’ve tried several, but this Vert has taken my fancy. It opens herbal-citrusy but almost instantly shifts to a slightly sweet fruity scent, perhaps pear, with a fresh touch they call ‘frozen grapes’. Perfect for hot days, it smells wonderful, projects well and draws compliments. Longevity is around 7-8 hours. The bottle is a design masterpiece with a top-quality atomiser.
Oboticario is the Brazilian cosmetics brand that has led the local market for years, with its Malbec line being the most popular. Out of all I’ve tried (Traditional, Noir, Absolute), this Vert is my favourite. It starts herbal and citrusy but almost immediately becomes fruity and slightly sweet, like pear, with a fresh note they describe as ‘frozen grapes’. Ideal for heat, it smells brilliant, projects strongly and earns compliments. Longevity is about 7-8 hours. The bottle is gorgeous and the atomiser works perfectly.
