Million Red for Her: Rabanne's New Oriental Vanilla

Rabanne has launched Million Red for Her, a new oriental vanilla fragrance for women, arriving in 2026. It brings together coconut, ylang-ylang, and vanilla in a composition that is sweet, powdery, and woody.

Already earning a rating of 3.95 out of 5 from 42 user reviews, this new perfume is making its mark. The base of vanilla sits at the heart of the scent, supported by a creamy coconut opening and a floral ylang-ylang centre.

The opening of Million Red for Her is immediately noticeable for its coconut note, which lends a creamy and slightly tropical sensation. This soon gives way to ylang-ylang, a flower prized for its rich, honeyed aroma. The drydown is dominated by vanilla, a classic choice that makes the fragrance feel both cosy and enduring.

The fragrance's accords are listed as vanillic, yellow floral, sweet, powdery, and woody. These combine to create a scent that is simultaneously soft and structured, with a gentle powderiness that feels refined and a woody base that prevents it from becoming overly sugary.

As a 2026 release, Million Red for Her is a fresh addition to Rabanne's portfolio. It follows the brand's tradition of bold, distinctive perfumes, but this one leans into a more traditional oriental vanilla territory, with an emphasis on warmth and comfort.

Early reception is positive, with a rating of 3.95 stars from 42 ratings. While some may find the coconut note more prominent than expected, the overall impression is of a well-blended scent that appeals to those who enjoy sweet florals and vanilla.

This perfume will likely suit those who prefer a straightforward, easy-going fragrance that doesn't stray far from familiar territory. It is particularly apt for autumn and winter, when its warm, powdery qualities can shine.

Fans of sweet, vanillic perfumes, particularly women who enjoy coconut and floral notes, and those looking to explore the Oriental Vanilla family.

Million Red for Her is a pleasing oriental vanilla with a creamy, floral touch. Its clear structure makes it easy to appreciate, and the combination of coconut and vanilla is both comforting and attractive.

  1. Awful… It starts with ylang-ylang, quickly turns into chemical tanning lotion, and ends in chemical vanilla. The best in the range is Pure Jasmin.
