It’s a fruity chypre with a very acidic opening; nothing new, but it tastes delicious and smells more expensive than it costs. It’s versatile, youthful, and has an elegant touch, though I wouldn’t recommend it in extreme heat. It reminds me of a discontinued Zara scent I loved, ‘From Zara with Vanity’, which makes me happy as I wanted to find something similar. I bought it based on reviews claiming it smelled like makeup, but it actually smells of fruit and patchouli. If you like L’Eau d’Hadrien or Si by Armani, you’ll probably enjoy this. It projects strongly for the first hour, then settles into a soft skin scent. In my case, it lasts for a maximum of five hours.

Love at first sniff. I tried it and couldn’t stop wearing it; within months I’d finished two bottles. It’s curious because I don’t usually like fruity notes, yet here I detect a standout plum with very prominent blackcurrants. Perhaps the blend with iris and patchouli is what makes me enjoy it so much. From Yves Rocher, this is one of my favourites over the last decade; I’ve tried almost everything they offer, but Mon Rouge is unique and delicious. Its longevity exceeds eight hours on the skin. I’m fascinated because I wear it all year round and in any occasion. It’s a winner when it comes to compliments.

  4. I’ve just finished a bottle of this lovely, accessible fragrance: a simple, unobtrusive fruity patchouli, ideal for everyday and informal wear. The longevity is around four hours on my skin with a moderate sillage. It pays homage to a lipstick, the matte ‘Grande Rouge’ number 156 from Yves Rocher, a classic red. The aroma is slightly powdery, like cinnamon incense, with the acidic touch of patchouli, a voluptuous note of iris and sweet blackcurrants. I didn’t detect the neroli, but it remains cheerful and recommended. Simple yet beautiful.

It’s a fruity scent with a very acidic opening. Nothing groundbreaking, but it smells far more expensive than it costs. It’s versatile, youthful and elegant, though I wouldn’t recommend it in the heat. It reminds me of a discontinued Zara perfume that I adored, which makes me so happy. 6. I’ve just finished a bottle of this lovely, accessible fragrance: a simple, unobtrusive fruity patchouli, ideal for everyday informal wear. It lasts about four hours on my skin with a moderate aura. It pays homage to a lipstick, the ‘Grande Rouge’ shade 156 from Yves Rocher, a classic red. The scent is slightly powdery, like cinnamon incense, with the acidic tang of patchouli, a voluptuous note of iris and sweet cassis. I didn’t detect the neroli, but it feels cheerful and recommended. Simple yet beautiful.

They gave it to me as a gift and it has absolutely blown me away; I’m completely smitten. It smells elegant, luxurious and exquisite. You can detect the fruit, the iris and a touch of patchouli, with a slightly powdery yet creamy finish. All in all, it has fascinated me. It’s not nuclear-strength, but it clings to clothes and lingers at intervals, which is a real plus. I’ll definitely have to buy more of this refined delight.

  8. This perfume has style; it’s strong on settled patchouli over plum and blackcurrant with neroli undertones. Warm for evening wear, reminiscent of Estée Lauder scents. I’d recommend it for women over 30 with good taste; it’s subtly sexy in some notes and classically formal in others. Excellent longevity and sillage at a great price.

It smells wonderful. I’m not sure if it’s the patchouli, but it’s identical to Mugler’s Amen Zest. I own both and they smell the same with that patchouli touch; in the YR version I don’t notice blackcurrants, but rather candied orange.

A very nice fragrance, distinct from the Mon line, lasting seven hours. Perfect for confident, spirited, and free-spirited women. Ideal for autumn and winter. Keep it up, Yves Rocher.
