The star note is salt, with a vigorous scent that leaves you feeling as fresh as if you’d just stepped off the beach after a morning at the seaside. It’s exquisite, very different from other nautical fragrances, and has become one of my favourites. I recommend it 100% – it never fails and is an excellent purchase from which no one will regret.

Aqua Marine reminds me of a sea with intense waves, yet this smells like crossing a tranquil sea on a boat in the morning with gentle breezes. It’s a clean, pleasant, and relaxing scent; the opening lasts about 20 minutes before fading gradually, sitting close to the skin after two hours. It’s exquisite, with moderate longevity and soft projection after 30 or 40 minutes. Occasionally, I detect a soapy touch that gets covered by the marine and salty accords. Recommended for daytime wear, better not in enclosed spaces (it evaporates quickly with air conditioning, much like The One). It doesn’t cling well to clothes, but performs excellently on the skin. It’s for personal delight; for me, it’s worked best in the afternoon between 12 and 4 on outdoor outings, earning compliments. The scent is almost linear, with little variation between notes.

The strength of the ocean. It smells of waves, the sea, and its virtues; it’s aromatic, citrusy, and slightly woody. Oceans reflects good work in the field of nautical perfumes. It lasts about five hours with good projection. Special mention must be made of its water-based technology, which reduces dryness on the skin and irritation. Additionally, the packaging is made from 30% recyclable materials. Worth 4/5.
