As everyone says, this is a beast of warmth and sensuality that embraces you, but on my skin it’s a drama: it projects for only 15 minutes before fading to skin scent, which you can only smell if you press your arm right up to your nose. What a pity, because it’s a beautiful aroma with amber, wood, and vanilla; reading the notes, I can’t believe it lasts so little. I wore it for three days and will keep trying to tame it in different settings.

My first review of Different Company and it was Oriental Lounge’s turn. It’s very spring-like: it opens with bergamot and a noticeable kick. The projection isn’t very good and the longevity is at most five hours. In the heart and base, I only perceive labdanum and nothing else. Excellent for spring days like those I live in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s unisex, though a bit more feminine; any man can wear it. Ideal for spring, during the day and afternoon, but not at night because, in my view, it lacks strength. I like the bottle, very original. In short, it’s recommended. Now I need to try Jasmin Nuit and Osmanthus from this house.

It’s a wonder. It starts woody, dry, with a forest scent. Then it explodes with all its oriental power: the pepper takes centre stage, mixed with tonka bean and spices, substances that make this perfume a special jewel. I don’t think anyone can just wear it; it has a lot of character. I don’t see it as unisex either; it’s more feminine, sexy and dense. It really impacted me. They put it on my wrist and I can’t stop sniffing it… Divine!

I tried it today. While I believe it suits women more than being truly unisex, I must say it smells delicious. Basically, it’s rose with spices and woods, under the ‘oriental’ concept of depth and layer evolution, with great strength. I noticed a tendency towards a powdery aroma. I recommend it, mainly to women who love oriental fragrances.
