Like Myosotis, I also find this Pourpre d’Autumne, this autumnal purple, as poetic as my beloved Nuée Bleue, also from the same house. Both share a clean base of benzoin and musk and an iris heart, and while in Nuée Bleue the iris predominates, here the protagonists are the violets, realistic and creamy thanks to the opening accompanied by peach and plum. Furthermore, in Pourpre d’Autumne there is a note that I love when well blended for cold days and which I believe is part of the poetry of this fragrance: the moss, so melancholic, so shadowy forest, so perfect for these dates. I like that a fragrance of these characteristics has a moderate projection, but I wish it lasted a bit more on the skin; it is the only flaw I find in this beauty.
Myosotis
The most realistic violets I have tried. Deep, humid, and well combined with iris to give an autumnal and nostalgic touch. It is a reinterpretation by Nathalie Lorson of a 1923 perfume from the same house. For great violet lovers. I find it poetic, profoundly nostalgic, and capable of changing my mood. Although it is classic, it does not result in being too retro, but rather has a charming vintage air. It maintains depth and transparency as the hours pass, although its projection is not very wide. This house has been one of my greatest discoveries this year; none of their perfumes have left me indifferent; they possess great evocative power, romance, and indisputable quality.
Myosotis

I agree with Myosotis… Seeking an alternative to classic florals and due to my preference for powdery aromas, a sample of this perfume arrived in my hands that has now become a bottle. On my skin, the violet and iris stand out especially, recalling many classic perfumes. The violet is not stinging but creamy. The longevity seems correct, without excess, but its projection is reduced. I believe it is more of a personal scent than one to attract attention, however the wonderful sillage I receive with movement confirms why I bought it. The presentation, the quality of the bottle and the fragrance seem very good to me.

I am in total agreement with Myosotis… Seeking something different from typical florals and with my penchant for powdery scents, I stumbled upon a sample that has now become a bottle. On my skin, the violet and iris shine, recalling classics, with that creamy violet and nothing stinging. The longevity is just right, without exaggeration, but its projection is contained. I see myself more as a personal scent rather than one to attract attention, although the sillage I get when I move justifies the purchase entirely. The presentation and the quality of the bottle and liquid are top-notch.

I absolutely adore this Pourpre d’Autumne; it is as poetic as its sibling Myosotis and my favourite, Nuée Bleue. They share that clean base of benzoin and musk with an iris heart, but here the violets take centre stage—realistic and creamy, thanks to the opening of peach and plum. Furthermore, I am fascinated by the moss on cold days; it is melancholic, reminiscent of a shadowy forest, and adds so much poetry. It has a moderate projection that I like, but I wish it lasted a little longer on the skin, which is its only drawback.
