Princess is a victim of the Viva La Juicy syndrome by Juicy Couture: extremely popular but without quality matching commercial success. It’s impressive, like when you search for perfume videos on YouTube and instantly find someone with Viva La Juicy; Princess follows the same path, but in both cases, the product isn’t exciting or particularly good. It’s an ‘Oriental-Floral’ in quotes, because in the opening and throughout the heart, the flowers are watery, transparent, pessimistic, and dusty. The fruits are also transparent, notable in the mid-stage, but when noticed, I only perceive an insipid guava juice and a sticky, indulgent base. The most noticeable are the vanilla and chocolate (perhaps dark, but like milk chocolate in its splendour); the vanilla reminds me of Katy Perry’s Mad Potion, being the central axis of both, with scant quality. Princess has a discreet floral tone that goes unnoticed against the dominant sweetness, but it’s not a delicious or edible sweet like Pink Sugar, Fantasy, or Prada Candy (mention Lolita Lempicka); it’s a conformist sweet, subtle, basically similar to a perfumed soap or detergent. Inspired by satirical fairy tales, it was planned as an alternative for the youth, who deserve a better-executed product. Even if it’s a trend, it doesn’t mean it’s worth the price, and Princess doesn’t deliver. It lasts little, has a microscopic trail, and its development doesn’t improve; it’s like a fragrance with low self-esteem seeking not to attract attention.

Princess was the first perfume I added to my wishlist when starting my collection. I felt happy and nervous buying the 50 ml without having smelled it first. The first spray almost made me hate it: a strange apple vinegar scent that transformed into something pleasant in 3 seconds. I smelled the top notes but the base remained. So sweet and pleasant, discreet, delicious, with a balance that avoids being crude. After a while, on my skin, an exquisite aroma of chocolate and vanilla in harmony. I look for perfumes with a strong trail, but Princess is discreet and cosy, with a moderate trail close to the skin. I wasn’t disgusted by it. Its duration is amazing: I put it on at 3 pm and it lasted until noon today, 21 hours! Princess is majestic and not sufficiently appreciated. Everything is sublime, from the bottle to the scent. Its adorable detail is that the base and cap are rings; isn’t that beautiful? Dignified of a princess. I feel special when I wear it. I’d recommend using it to see your special person; melting into an embrace with that scent is a blessing. Princess lives up to its name. I’ll definitely buy more when this runs out. The price is accessible. Scent: 10/10, Trail: 6/10, Duration: 10/10.

It was the first perfume I added to my wishlist. I felt happy and nervous buying the 50ml bottle without having smelled it. The first spray almost made me hate it: it smelled like apple cider vinegar, but in 3 seconds it changed to something pleasant. I heard the top notes, but the middle notes stayed. So sweet and pleasant, discreet and delicious, with a perfect balance that makes it refined. Then, on my skin, it turns into an exquisite chocolate and vanilla aroma. It’s not my style of strong sillage; this is discreet and cosy, the sillage stays close to the skin, but it didn’t disgust me. The longevity is amazing: I put it on at 3 pm and it was still there the next noon, 21 hours! It’s majestic and not appreciated enough. Everything is sublime, from the bottle to the scent. The adorable thing is that the base and cap are rings, isn’t it beautiful? Dignified of a princess. I feel special when I wear it. I recommend it for seeing your special person; melting into an embrace with that scent is a blessing. It lives up to its name. I’ll definitely buy it again when it runs out. Plus, the price is accessible. Scent 10/10, sillage 6/10, longevity 10/10.

I have to admit I bought it for a 50ml deal. I only knew it was sweet and unpretentious, and the cute bottle was irresistible. At the first spray, I thought I’d ruined it; it smelled like bad liquor. But I was patient and let it settle. It smells like vanilla and milk chocolate, with fruity touches and something floral. The longevity is moderate; it lasted a work morning, and the sillage is very soft, almost imperceptible. It’s for winter afternoons. It smells like a sweet café with freshly baked pastries to me. Nothing sophisticated, but it doesn’t need to be. If you want to feel warm and comfortable on the sofa with hot chocolate in December, this is the one. It depends on the situation: I wouldn’t wear it for work dates; it’s homely and intimate. For the price I paid, I’d buy it again; it’s pleasant to me, but I wouldn’t pay the original price. If you find deals and you like sweet, soft perfumes, go ahead.

I bought the 50 ml bottle on offer. I only knew it was sweet and unpretentious and the cute bottle was irresistible. On the first spray, I thought ‘I’ve ruined it’; it smelled like bad liquor. But I was patient and let it settle. It smells like vanilla and milk chocolate with fruity touches and a floral note I can’t quite distinguish. Moderate duration (lasted a work morning) and a very soft, almost imperceptible trail. It’s for winter afternoons. It smells like a sweet café with freshly baked pastries. Nothing sophisticated, but it doesn’t need to be. If you want to feel warm and comfortable on the sofa with hot chocolate in December, this is the one. I wouldn’t wear it for work dates; it’s homely and intimate. For the price I paid, I’d buy it again; it’s pleasant, but I wouldn’t pay the original price. If there’s an offer and you like sweets, go for it.

This perfume is a chocolate and vanilla shake, soft, nothing scandalous, unlikely to bother anyone (for me that’s not a compliment; perfumes should be noticeable). It follows the current sweet trend, smells like a cake with a fruity background and a distant powdery floral touch that balances. It’s pretty; I’d wear it for walking around the house or gift it to my 10-year-old niece, but it’s not striking, lacks mystery, has poor longevity and sillage, quite simple though generally pleasant. Rich for staying on the sofa near the one you love most, but inappropriate for going out to conquer the world and wrong for formal situations. The bottle is lovely and the price isn’t alarming; I think I’ll buy it sooner or later to enjoy it while making custard.

I’ve just received my Vera Wang Princess. It’s an amber perfume. I’m not usually a fan of amber fragrances, but I liked this one because you can taste the dark chocolate and vanilla, which makes it different. It’s not cloying; the flowers take centre stage: water lily, neroli, and tiare flower. At first, you sense the amber, apple, and mandarin, but later the chocolate and vanilla make the difference and last. It’s not sweet; the floral and amber notes dominate. It’s very subtle; sometimes it smells like lemon tea, in fact the bottle smells like that; it changes when applied to the skin. It lasts 6 to 8 hours and is very light. Easy to wear for any informal occasion.

My best friend gifted me this perfume (my first Christmas present of 2024) in a set with body mist. I’ll review both as they feel distinct. Perfume: opens with a soft, creamy white floral scent that soon turns into perfumed chocolate, very pleasant and clean thanks to the guava. Ideal for any weather, but it really shines on autumn dates. Body: the chocolate shines more, sweet and soft, though the fruity notes arrive at the end, leaving it bright. Both have a moderate-to-light trail and longevity; they are neither invasive nor spicy. I already wanted this in my collection, and it was a wonderful surprise. Fortuna, thank you for the gift, I love you : )

Soft, fruity, and chocolatey. I love it! It smells like a new Barbie doll, that scent you get when opening the box. It’s more modern than the ones from my childhood, and my niece also said: ‘It smells like new Barbie here’. You can detect vanilla, chocolate, and mixed fruits, almost like a smoothie but without being cloying thanks to the water lily and fresh fruits. The dry-down is amber and woody. The trail lasts 3 hours perceptibly, then remains soft just for you. After 6 hours, only the final skin scent remains. I was surprised by the longevity. The bottle is gorgeous, but the atomiser is dreadful; for the price, I suppose that’s asking too much.

I always say perfumes have no age, but with Princess I make an exception: it seems destined for a youthful, almost childish audience. The packaging gives it away; it seeks to catch the eye of a young girl or teenager. The scent is very sweet; defining it as a chocolate or vanilla shake is accurate, but far from being cloying, it’s very light and even fresh, perfect for that audience. I bought it for the notes and good price. It falls short on duration and trail; I wouldn’t wear it out except for errands. I use it as a mist for sheets and pillows; it’s super comforting and cosy for sleep. A pleasant perfume for lovers of soft, light sweet scents.

I thought it would be a hit! It was on my list due to its popularity and good reviews, but trying it in-store was a disappointment. On my skin, I don’t detect vanilla, chocolate, citrus, or amber—just a strange, green floral scent, like freshly cut grass. Sorry, another ‘marketing victim’, just like Viva La Juicy. It’s a pity because the presentation is beautiful. I don’t find it youthful or suitable for blind buying; it’s versatile depending on skin pH, very long-lasting but with an overwhelming trail that envelops you with a single spray. Unfortunately, it didn’t convince me: ‘much fame, little talent’.

I’ve had this perfume on my wishlist for months and finally tried it. I thought it would be too sweet, but on my skin, the amber and woody notes really shine through—very soft and pleasant. The opening is fruity/floral, then chocolate emerges as it dries down, gaining a vanilla touch as it settles. The olfactory pyramid is almost exact. It reminds me a bit of Kenzo Flower, perhaps due to the vanilla. I don’t find it childish or youthful; I think it’s ideal for women aged 20 to 30. It’s very feminine and soft. The bottle is a treasure, and the metal crown (which isn’t a cap) separates into two rings.

I bought it on offer and the 100 ml cost me around twenty-something euros. Honestly, what others say doesn’t evoke anything for me. It’s not for little girls, nor does it smell like liquor, and frankly, I don’t detect much chocolate; I do notice the fruity floral notes that give it style. At first, it smells strongly of candy and guava, then leaves an intense tiare scent. It smells like a sophisticated, youthful beach girl, though it tends to be almost vulgar, yet it isn’t. Perfect perfume, very feminine, for daily wear or night outs. 8/10.

I like Princess by Vera Wang as a transition scent for days saturated with strong fragrances; it’s relaxing to me. It’s an unpretentious fragrance with an intimate trail and a duration of about 5 hours. It has a slightly childish touch and an indefinable base like ‘cologne smell’. It smells floral and chocolatey, delicate, fresher than sweet but with both nuances. I love the bottle despite its childish character. Scent 7/10, Duration 6/10, Trail 5/10, Value 6/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

I just acquired a decant of this fragrance by chance; it wasn’t what I was looking for. I didn’t know Vera Wang perfumes or anything… but wow! What a lovely aroma!! In the opening, it reminds me of new lipstick or compact powder. On dry down on my skin, I sense a delicate scent of powder-dusted roses; I don’t know why, as it doesn’t even list those notes. It was a total success and I am about to buy the original, hoping it has good performance and long-lasting power.
Adictaalodulce22
When I read the reviews, I imagined a completely different scent. Clearly it was a blind buy and I am somewhat regretful; it smells more of baby powder than anything, with a slight touch of chocolate. It is very similar to Benetton Hot, which is cheaper and smells the same, minus the chocolate. The vanilla is not perceptible. I am regretful. The opening is slightly alcoholic, then powder with cocoa. 6.5/10 💓

I bought it blind and it smells great, but it’s barely noticeable close to the skin and doesn’t leave a trail. If you’re looking for something discreet, pretty, and non-overpowering for everyday wear, it’s perfect. It smells like a feminine doll, super natural and unpretentious. The bottle is gorgeous and the cap doubles as a ring, a top detail.

I didn’t think I would like it, but I loved it!!! It smells like chocolate with fruits, then water lily, tiare, and neroli. It is very feminine, soft, pleasant, zero cloying, a well-made perfume. It smells like Damita or well, Princess; it is very pleasant, people compliment it a lot, but it lasts only a short time. One of my favourites!!!!

At first, I thought it was for an older lady and very strong, but now I adore it. It’s lovely, sweet, and perfect for winter. It lasts forever; I put it on at 7 and can still smell it at 4. The bottle is delicate, like something for a princess. Note: only apply a couple of sprays because it’s potent and can give you a headache.
SnowyMoon
I bought it blind in 2017. It smells very good, chocolatey and sweet, but initially it’s a bit cloying. It lasts about 4 hours. It’s quite feminine, ideal for girls aged 15 to 25. I left it for a year and when I returned to using it, it was like rediscovering it, although I’m not sure if I’d repurchase.
Sarasaiz
I don’t know which note makes me hate it. The chocolate and vanilla base is fine, but that initial floral note makes it feel very old and stale. It reminds me of an older lady with heavy makeup leaving an unpleasant trail. What a pity; I expected more from that tender sweetness that barely registers.

This perfume wins my affection little by little. The first time, I thought it was a delicate fruity and floral aroma with 3 hours’ duration and a moderate trail; I left it for weeks, and when I returned to use it, I felt I had missed it. I love its bottle for the little crown with ringstones.
Cherchezlafemme
Inside that childish bottle lies a restrained perfume, nothing babyish. It’s slightly chocolatey and woody, suitable for a woman not necessarily young. Very comfortable and pleasant for being at home after a meal, like an afternoon with a blanket and a hot drink as the last rays of sun fade.
Katiaceci
What a tragedy!!!! What an ephemeral aroma!!!! When I finally found a fragrance that convinced me, its scent on my skin lasts only 2 hours. Regrettable 🙁 and on clothes, let alone, if it lasts another 2 hours, but it leaves much to be desired pffffffffffff

What a delight! Smells like a café on Christmas Eve, with that hot chocolate and super creamy truffles. On my skin, I detect no fruit at all, but the trail is wide and lasts 6-8 hours. Ideal for those who love the sweet side without going overboard.

Beautiful: caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. I love it. The bottle is lovely and the cap is a fantasy crown ring. The longevity is average and it’s affordable. In the heat, the wood, guava, and slightly green notes come out, which is very nice.
Maria Tassara
Without a doubt, it’s my favourite: super feminine, sweet, with a vanilla touch. It’s very persistent, ideal for special occasions. As it’s not sold here, I buy several bottles every time I travel. I absolutely love Vera Wang’s Princess!

Exquisite! On my dry skin, it reminds me of Lolita Lempicka, which I adore, although I wish the base notes were less overwhelming. Princess is sweet, like vanilla and dark chocolate with a fresh touch of guava. Phenomenal!
Paola Andrade
Personally, I adore it. Besides the beautiful bottle, what counts is the scent. My dad gave it to me and said ‘it reminds me of you’. Since then, it’s one of my favourites: sentimental, beautiful, and delicious.
