This is what I call a good designer fragrance: very pleasant, balanced, and with average performance. You don’t feel ripped off; it’s not a head-turner, but it doesn’t offend anyone either. I think it’s a solid job, versatile for intermediate seasons. It’s not the best in the world; for example, the original Uomo, an ode to violet, seems superior to me, although I understand it doesn’t suit everyone. Give it a try if the notes suit your taste.

Well, Cavalli Uomo Silver Essence has been a surprise for me. Although I don’t love it (I’m not a fan of iris, but it has many positive attributes). It has an aromatic opening, even fresh, with the iris touch, the sweetness of tonka bean, and the ripe plum skin note of the violet. After an hour, that blend fades, leaving only a sweet iris note reminiscent of Valentino Uomo. Longevity is more than acceptable, projecting enough without being suffocating. Scent 8, Trail 7, Longevity 8, Price 10.

Indeed, it’s sweet with lots of violet, in the style of CK Eternity Night for men. Fragrances like this aren’t for me, but women usually like them.

First off, it reminded me of CK Obsessed for men by about 85%, with a touch of Valentino Uomo, feeling more informal than the latter on my nose. Suitable for men aged 23 and above. Longevity and trail are good, with good quality.
