Roses Greedy by Mancera is a fruity-floral-gourmand olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by perfumer Pierre Montale. Upon release, the scent unfolds with peach, blackcurrant, mandarin, pink pepper and coconut; the heart reveals a harmony of rose, flowers and jasmine; while the base settles on white musk, sugar, vanilla, amber and benzoin.

  • Greedy by Rosas could be a flanker of Narciso Rodriguez, smelling of musk like their other perfumes, a cheerful floral with vanilla and sugar sweetness, and that final musky touch that stays with you all day. I loved it; if you like NR, you’ll surely like it too, ideal for daily use.

  • Greedy by Rosas might be a flanker of Narciso Rodriguez, as that musk note is identical to their other fragrances. It’s a cheerful floral, slightly sweet due to the vanilla and sugar, with a musky dry-down that lingers all day. I loved it; if you enjoy the Narciso house, you’ll definitely be hooked. Perfect for everyday wear.

  • I was given a sample of this pseudo-unisex, and after several hours, it only reminded me of a Lancôme fragrance my mother uses. Pure concentrated rose and floral scent, nothing more.

  • Very similar to Roses Vanille without the liquorish note, therefore more versatile and less overwhelming. The opening is explosively fruity, some roses and peach juice with a greenish touch; without them being declared, I sense green notes that prevent the sugar from exploding. After a few minutes, only sugar-dusted rose petals and a gentle musk, with jasmine notes coming and going but never staying. It’s a comfortable scent for daily office wear, with a chic touch from that musk and quite feminine from those sweet flowers. I think I’ll use it all year round, except on very hot days because it’s sweet. Long-lasting, over 8 hours, with moderate sillage.

  • Super versatile perfume, suitable for winter and summer. If you like Narciso Rodriguez for Her, you will like this. It’s not invasive, with decent longevity of about 8 hours. Super feminine sweet roses. It’s the younger, innocent sister of Roses Vanille.

  • Greedy by Rosas is delicate: it begins with freshly cut roses before transforming into sugar-dusted roses with musk and peach. It evokes a fairytale princess with her dress blowing in the breeze, fresh and tender. It’s not a complicated scent that anyone would dislike; it’s fresh, clean, and feminine, with good sillage and longevity. It has a subtle sweet touch but is pure freshness, nothing citrusy. It doesn’t remind me of Narciso; it has its own personality. I wouldn’t have noticed it before, I’m not a rose fan and I prefer sweeter scents, but here I am, loving it. I highly recommend it, it’s exquisite. Scent: 8.5/10, Longevity: 9/10, Sillage: 8/10.

  • Roses Greedy is delicate: at first, freshly cut roses, then roses dusted with sugar, musk, and peach. I need to review this because I bought it blind and it wasn’t what I expected… It doesn’t resemble Narciso nor is it an extremely sugared rose. At first sniff, a fresh and adorable rose, followed by COCO, lots of coconut, as if you were in summer with coconut sunscreen and put on a fresh rose perfume. I also detect peach mixed with that coconut, reminiscent of Katy Perry’s Purr but with rose as the star. I still have to test it further, but clearly, you must like coconut, peach, and rose.

  • What a treat! It’s very similar, to the point of being indistinguishable, to my beloved Intense Roses Musk by Montale; in both I detect roses, musk, and sugar. Do they resemble Narciso? A little, but this is the sugared version, whereas Narciso is fresher and has poor longevity (on my skin it lasts an hour). Edit: the longevity of Roses Greedy on my skin reaches 3 hours, the same as the normal Montale, but the Intense version surpasses 8 hours. The key difference is that RG comes out slightly soapy, whereas the Montale is more intense and long-lasting.

This one is! After my disaster with the Feminity from the same house, I absolutely loved this. Fresh and sweet roses, ideal for daytime and spring, with good longevity and sillage without being overwhelming. I recommend it to death for rose lovers in all their facets. Very feminine.

  • Candycandy40

This one is a definite yes!!! After my disaster with Femininity from the same house, this one has been a hit. Fresh and sweet roses, perfect for wearing during the day and in spring, good longevity and sillage without being overwhelming. I recommend it wholeheartedly to rose lovers in all their facets. Very feminine.

This was my first Mancera, thanks to a decant, and honestly, I didn’t like it. On my skin, no flowers come out: it opens fruity and slightly astringent, probably due to the blackcurrant, peach, and pepper. Beyond that, I only notice an extremely high concentration of Iso E Super which gives it a woody but very synthetic touch. If your nose is sensitive to this ingredient, test it first. It lasts about 10-12 hours, with a powerful sillage for the first hour and moderate afterwards.

This was my first Mancera as I was gifted a decant. To be honest, I didn’t like it. On my skin, no floral notes come through: it opens with something fruity and astringent, which I imagine are the currants, peach, and pepper. Beyond that, I perceive nothing but an extremely high concentration of Iso E Super, giving it a woody yet very synthetic edge. If your nose is sensitive to this ingredient, try it before buying. Longevity is around 10-12 hours, with powerful sillage for the first hour and moderate afterwards.

  • Not worth the price, it has nothing special about it and smells like air freshener. It’s hugely overrated and says nothing. Forget the sour-sweet roses or Montale’s Musk; this is a boring, cloying floral with a hair dye scent. I’ve never received any compliments on this perfume; it’s simplistic and lacks charm.

  • Raquel1024

I picked this up blind to try Mancera, and at the Amazon price it’s a real bargain. The jasmine dominates the roses. It’s sweet, but dries down beautifully. If you like sweet florals, it’s a must-have, although it doesn’t suit me, so I gave it to my sister who is addicted to roses and sweetness; it tames any heavy perfume, but on her everything smells like talcum powder and dust, which doesn’t suit me but works wonders for her.

It has something! I’m not sure if I’d buy it but I like it. It has vibes in the style of Bacarat Rouge 540.

  • Roses Greedy comes out with tangerine, then peach notes, after a while the slightly sweetened rose dominates and I think the success of this perfume, like so many from Mancera, is undoubtedly due to the type of white musk that makes you smell your wrist, especially as it dries down. In general, perfumes from this brand, like those from Montale, are strong, that is, they are noticeable and distinctive, as I said before, thanks to their musk which acts as a fixative and as an addictive note.

  • Good heavens, it’s very similar to Boucheron’s Quatre, in my opinion about 80%, only this one doesn’t lift the fruity notes as much and is stronger on the musk. As soon as I sprayed it I thought: ‘I know this scent!’. It’s very pleasant and I like it because it’s less fruity than the Boucheron, very cheerful and daytime, practically a wardrobe staple; it’s a safe blind buy, unlikely to be disliked by anyone. In my opinion it smells like a Quatre boosted to 100% with a slight touch of Roses Vanille. Edit: at first it resembles the Quatre and as it dries down the Bond No. 9. After an hour it starts to change and now it reminds me slightly of the Bond No. 9. I love it, I can’t stop smelling myself 😍😍😍, teenagers from 15 upwards can use it.

  • I LOVE IT, I can smell all the notes, but especially the rose 🤩 it smells fruity and floral, and as it dries down I notice a very soft coconut scent 🙊🥥💐🍑

  • I bought it a few days ago (with a magnetic cap) and it doesn’t last even 3 hours on my skin. I already have Roses Vanille, Velvet Vanille and Intense Tiaré from Montale and those last much longer. Is there anyone else this has happened to? I’m disappointed because on top of that I picked up the 120ml bottle at an official perfumerie.

  • I have a decant and after several tests, I say it doesn’t smell gourmand on my skin. It opens citrusy and slightly intoxicating, stays like that for a while, then the rose and jasmine come out, though it keeps the citrus touch and the musk, but I don’t like that musk; on my skin it doesn’t evolve well. It has a good aroma, but not on me ☹️ it smells like roses with everything: stem, leaves, no sugar. Regarding longevity, I sprayed 3 times and could still smell it after 5 hours, but I told my husband to come closer to see if he noticed and he didn’t perceive anything at all. I don’t know if my nose was already saturated or what.

Just one thing: I never understood why most people find it ‘feminine’. It’s one of my favourites and, unlike many subjective reviews, it never sounded that way to me. Even colleagues have asked what I’m wearing because they find it delicious for daily use. I consider it neutral. If you like roses, go for it; flowers and fruit are universal. That’s why Pierre Montale gets it right in many of his perfumes, at least in the ones I’ve tried.

Just one thing… I never understood why everyone finds it ‘feminine’. It’s one of my favourites and, unlike subjective opinions, it doesn’t smell like a woman to me. Not even my colleagues notice it as such; they love it so much they ask what it is, it seems delicious for daily wear. It sounds neutral to me. If you like roses, go ahead, flowers and fruit are universal, so I think Montale got many of their perfumes right, or at least the ones I’ve tried.

I’ll be brief: on my skin it smells incredible and works brilliantly; it projects strongly and intensely for 3 to 4 hours without being overpowering, then lasts another 4 hours with a moderate but noticeable aroma. For me, it’s exquisite because we have great chemistry together.

  • WhiteFlorals

It’s a delightful rose scent, very refined and fresh. Smells like high-end rose soaps, which brings me calm and childhood memories… I loved it!
