Saturday morning, after shopping, I stumbled upon this little gem in a catalogue store. I naturally took both bottles, and the price was a bargain. The bottle screams special occasion; it reminds me of a cabochon ruby. The atomiser is superb, a real exception compared to what Avon used to offer back then. I barely tested it on my wrist before thinking: ‘this is a proper perfume, like the ones from before’. IMPORTANT: this isn’t for noses accustomed to childish scents of cherry, whipped cream, and caramel. For me, it opens with woody and spicy notes, powerful yet tolerable. You just need to wait. Then the rose emerges; it’s not a light cologne, it’s well-crafted and beautifully supported. I’ll see how it evolves over a few hours, but I don’t think it’s for daily wear, nor for super-occasions as the bottle suggests. If you’re mindful with the sprays, it’s perfect for outings or even work meetings. I’m delighted with my purchase! 😃😍 23/05 – I wore it for a couple of days, in the evenings after a bath. It no longer smells of that ripe Saturday rose; now, on the skin, it leaves a scent of fine soap. Exquisite.
