I bought Solar Mango a few weeks ago and it left me speechless with how realistically it smells like mango. As I adore the fruit, the moment I smelled it, I knew I’d love it. For me, after the mango note, it smells like coconut water with a touch of vanilla lotion. It’s a very good perfume; I’ll certainly use it all summer. If I want something lighter, I mix it with Light Blue.

I was looking for a real mango, not those overly sweet, fake ones from Mercadona that fade in nothing. Zara has nailed it: it smells like freshly picked, ripe mango, juicy, with a hint of sandalwood that gives it depth. On skin, it lasts about two hours, a bit longer on clothes. Others with mango, like Fame or Daisy Ever So Fresh, seemed more floral with the fruit as a base note. If you want to smell like a protagonist, juicy mango, Solar Mango is for you.
Smells like ripe, sweet mango, very natural; I barely notice any other scent. I don’t detect the jasmine or anything floral – for me, it’s purely fruity. Ideal for summer days. Of course, you have to like mango as it’s the only note present. The longevity is decent, around five hours, which is more than many designer fragrances that cost four times as much. I bought it blind alongside Exotic Maracuja and Succulent Flower, and of the three, I think this is the most worthwhile. Edit: after several days of use, I no longer see it as the most interesting in the collection; that spot has been taken by Succulent Flower.

Smells like fresh, ripe, juicy mango. Unfortunately, after an hour, I only detect a very strong coconut note that irritates me and gives me a headache. If that coconut note weren’t so pronounced, it would be a charming summer perfume.

Ideal for lovers of the tropical and radiant, perfect for hot days or for bringing the sun to your skin. It’s not complex or long-lasting, but it is a sensory delight with an unforgettable opening. If you like smelling fresh, juicy fruit, this is pure vitamin in a bottle.
