I definitely see the Terre DNA as soon as I spray it. A fresh, sharp citrus hit that wraps me in good vibes. Without testing it further, I estimate the longevity is moderate, similar to the Parfum I also own, but I didn’t expect more from a citrus scent. I am starting to shed my obsession with perfume longevity and enjoy the scent itself more, because otherwise, I don’t gain anything but disappointments. I do see it as elegant. It is not the typical marine citrus daily scent; this one dresses you up and distinguishes it from the Aqua di Gio. And, as with every Terre I wear, I insist, it wraps me in good vibes. That bitterness throws me off. I felt short with the 50ml format, I suppose more bottles will follow. Bravo, Mrs Nagel. EDITED: after a few days of testing… what a marvel! 8 hours of longevity with a more than decent projection. It wraps me and the bursts never stop. A citrus with a woody base simply sublime. However, I discovered to my surprise that the batch was made in 2021, that is, months before its commercial launch. In short, I love this light and elegant Terre.

If Terre d’Hermès was a dusty gentleman at the end of the day, Eau Givrée is that same gentleman fresh out of the shower, sharp and with his senses awake. The essence is the same, but dressed in steel and frost. It doesn’t lose elegance or bite, but now it looks at you with cold eyes and a wet beard. The cider hits hard: clean, violent, almost insulting. Behind it, unlisted mint and juniper shake you like a bucket of water. There’s no sweetness; it’s the scent of a mountain dawn, with frozen feet and a clear head. Warning: beneath the ice beats the earthy heart of the original. The metallic notes and woods remain there, like scars from a life well-lived. One can shave and get clean, but they can’t escape their history. Eau Givrée isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who distinguish between cold and sterile, those who have lived and still stand tall, chin to the wind and soul frozen.

A total success for summer. I bought it following Carlos Rubio in a video about summer perfumes, and he was absolutely right. I love that it smells of gin and lemon (like a proper gin and tonic), so this Terre d’Hermès caught me off guard… the scent was identical and the freshness it provides is brilliant on hot days for at least 6-7 hours. It is a very formal fragrance (perfect for work and a drink), and as the first few hours pass, you see how the scent evolves into the original Terre d’Hermès, which I certainly don’t dislike. It doesn’t feel like a youthful scent, nor is it for the elderly. For me, it far surpasses the other flanker (Eau Intense Vetiver) that I also tried in-store, because from the first spray, you can see the good vibes and the scent it delivers. If you like citrus, gin, and the Terre d’Hermès smell, buy without hesitation.

The citrus and incredibly fresh variant of Terre d’Hermès made me part with my D&G Italian Love. It has an overwhelming citrus opening, the apple note, which for my inexperienced nose is quite similar to grapefruit, made me feel both were redundant, so I opted for the Terre simply because it seemed better and more evolving, as it allows the juniper berries to open up over minutes, and finally, when it is close to the skin, the personality of the classic Terre d’Hermès appears timidly. I feel that beneath the ease and pleasantness, there lies notable complexity. Performance on my skin is about 4 to 5 hours, and the hotter it gets, the better.

To my taste it smells of real lemon/orange; in the declared sour apple notes it feels citrusy with something sweet. I thought it had gone and every now and then I get waves of it on my body. Very good experience, gives a sense of vitality and good mood. I’d wear it casually with jeans and a relaxed white shirt, nothing formal or elegant, though in the end it turns oxidised citrus and earthy, perhaps for something more formal. I understand they recommend using it after a shower for the freshness, but it’s much more. I recommend it for day, spring/summer, any non-formal occasion.

For me, one of the best citrus fragrances, ideal for summer. It’s like an instant hit of freshness that then evolves into a more complex, mineral base with a very subtly earthy note, similar to its older sibling (but not wet earth, rather sandy, as if beach sand had a scent). The initial burst of sour orange creates a hyper-realistic effect of bitter oranges, grapefruits, and freshly cut lemons. Its acidity and sweetness invade the whole room before settling. A lovely scent, and for me, at least, it lasts quite a while on the skin for a citrus fragrance.

Timeless elegance, this fragrance shouts it out. It starts with a spectacular citrus, that of the cider, making you forget the classic. Gradually it turns metallic and woody. Although I enjoy it, someone told me it smells like an older person; I’m 31 and it suits me perfectly. I also felt it was mature, but very wearable for someone over 27. The original projects more age. Duration: brutal, on me it reaches 8 hours, projecting for 2-3 hours, then occasional bursts.

Spraying 5-8 sprays of this Eau Grivrèe is like taking a draught from your trusted druid: it fills you with energy, strength, savoir-faire, chivalry, and a fantastic good vibe for 6-8 hours. Perfect for mornings from spring to autumn, always in my rotation. It seems excessive to carry this energy during the evening hours without people thinking you’ve taken some opiate, but hey, there are scents for every taste.

Hello… The truth is it’s a fragrance… How to describe it? Charming? Sophisticated? Elegant? I think yes. Delicious. It makes you feel 100% sophistication. A beauty. I don’t see it only for heat or summer; I used it in winter, on a not too cold day, around 20 degrees, and it worked wonderfully. About 5 sprays on skin and a couple more on clothes… Great performance and elegance.

A commercial variant of the original Terre d’Hermès but in this case citrus and fresh. Naturally, it completes the already classic scent created by the genius JC Ellena in 2006, but oriented towards the spring-summer season and comes to replace the discontinued TDH Tres Fraiche. As with everything this French house does, it exudes elegance, its own style, quality, and maturity.

An exquisite fragrance with an addictive, sharp, and refreshing citrus profile, perfect for hot days. Ideally suited for a mature individual looking to make a special impression. It doesn’t resemble any other perfume I know. I suggest buying a refiller atomiser as it lasts about five hours on the skin, which is typical for citrus scents of this nature. Simply brilliant!

For me, the best Terre d’Hermès: a sharp citrus opening that lasts for ages and smells like the white part of the grapefruit (sour orange), something bitter but nothing unpleasant. It dries down slightly green and woody, but the citrus never leaves. Brilliant for summer or warm climates, and given the price, I think it’s well worth it. Among the best from designers.

Too rich, fresh and ethereal; poor projection and trail after half an hour, but anyone sensitive to perfumes will compliment you. The scent is a 10/10, so exquisite that you don’t mind its performance because it would lose its charm. I wear it for everything and bought a refiller to reapply at the fourth or fifth hour. Still, don’t buy blindly.

The apple note is quite noticeable at first, giving that sensation of a realistic citrus with a hint of sourness that transforms into something totally orange. The dry-down is very rich compared to the initial explosion, a good option for that orange citrus without resorting to sweetness. It’s quite icy.

Incredible, for me better than the classic. It smells like frozen citrus, very good indeed for heat in formal settings, such as an outdoor wedding or in the office when it’s hot. I wouldn’t wear it myself because I think it suits someone older, perhaps thirty and up, but it’s still very good.
