Valentino Pink by Valentino is a fruity-floral-gourmand fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by Daphné Bugey and Fabrice Pellegrin. It’s a sweet scent that evolves beautifully on the skin; my boyfriend smells it as grape, while I like it at first but then find it revolting. It really depends on personal taste.

  • JulietaCarc

What a beautiful fragrance. Without a doubt it’s my favourite of all. At first I didn’t like it much because I sensed a strong rose aroma, but once it settled, it smelled superbly rich, very sweet and gourmand.

What a beautiful fragrance, undoubtedly my favourite of all. At first, I didn’t like it due to the strong rose scent, but as it develops, it smells delicious, super sweet and gourmand.

  • They tried it on me in a shopping centre and I loved it, but once I wore it, it disappointed me a bit; after two hours I couldn’t smell it on my wrist, surely it’s my pH. Undoubtedly it’s an exquisite fragrance, sweet but fruity, not vanilla-based. It feels fresh and elegant, without being overpowering. Simply delicious and true to Valentino. Too bad in Argentina they only bring the large bottle.

  • sosanancy.10

It smells nice at first, but then it fades and all I can smell is cider. It didn’t convince me at all.

  • sosanancy.10

It smells nice at first, but then it becomes weak and I only detect apple cider. It didn’t convince me at all.

  • A sweet, rich fragrance. On my skin it stands out more as fruity and gourmand. I tried it once and it reminded me a lot of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I’ll try it again when it gets hotter in summer to see how it evolves. It lasts about five hours with a moderate trail. In Argentina the Valentino line isn’t very popular but you can find it in most perfumeries.

  • I didn’t like it at all! I can’t even smell it because it gives me nausea and headaches, and that’s why I paid so much. What a letdown.

  • I didn’t like it at all. I can’t even smell it because it gives me nausea and headaches. What a disappointment to pay so much for this.

  • For some reason my name didn’t show up in the official review and it appears as ‘guest’, but this is my opinion.

An odyssey to find it, but it was worth it. I love it: fruity, sweet, sparkling, with a red fruit and champagne aroma. Good longevity and very fresh for spring. Valentino has hit the mark again.

My last blind buy was a hit. Valentina Pink lived up to the bottle’s image: Barbie pink with a pastel-style flower. I expected something pink and sweet. Straight from the cap it smells thick, like synthetic strawberry syrup, but once worn it’s bearable, pleasant and sparkling. The strawberries keep that synthetic touch, but I sense an almost real rose aroma and detect a subtle, undeclared raspberry note that blends well. Peony saves the excess, giving it charisma. If you’re looking to tone down the intensity of sweet gourmands, this is good. With the heat, my tastes have changed; it doesn’t need much application, it catches attention without shouting. I imagine it on a cheerful, positive girl. I wear it all year, especially in the morning to start the day with spirit. It lasts over 12 hours intact with a great trail. Worth it, though hard to find. I’d only recommend it if you like bold sweets applied with moderation; for others, it might be overwhelming. The first Valentino I’ve ever liked!

A total hit with my blind buy… Valentina Pink was exactly as I imagined, with its pink Barbie bottle and pastel flower. At first, it smells like synthetic strawberry syrup or jam, but once applied, it becomes wearable and sparkling. I detect real roses and an undeclared raspberry note that I love. The peony saves it from being too sweet, adding real charisma. Ideal if you’re looking to tone down the intensity of gourmand sweets. With the heat, my tastes have changed, and this is perfect: you don’t need much, it catches attention without shouting. I see it on a cheerful, coquettish girl. I’d use it all year round, especially in the morning to start the day with good spirits. The longevity is brutal, staying intact for over 12 hours with an incredible trail. It’s worth it, though hard to find. If you like bold sweets applied with moderation, I highly recommend it. Note: it can overwhelm those who prefer light or citrus scents and may cause headaches. It’s the first Valentina I’ve tried that left a good taste in my mouth!

Upon smelling it, I thought it would be cloying—strawberry, blackberry and praline sound like too much—but a friend gifted me a decant and I was wrong. It’s like strawberry jam with fresh, romantic roses, with a hint of praline that sweetens without going overboard. It’s sweet but not cloying, flirty, cheerful and youthful. The trail is moderate and lasts about six or seven hours. I wear it in spring and perhaps in autumn. I recommend it blindly; there’s no room for error.

  • I loved it! Sweet, cheerful, youthful and irresistible. Without a doubt, I would have it again. It has excellent fixative power, on my skin it lasts for hours; its trail is soft and very feminine. I received many compliments while wearing it. For lovers of fruity perfumes… I recommend it 100%.

  • Today I’m testing Valentina Pink in its opening; it smelled like a lip balm bar; after a few seconds that smell passes, which by the way I love, and once it dries it reminded me of another perfume I have, I couldn’t identify which one it was until I smelled it and sniffed it between my blouse trying to remember, until I found it: it smells exactly like Si by Armani. I love it! It’s in my top favourites, therefore Valentina Pink didn’t disagree with me at all. Fortunately I bought a decant as I really don’t need two perfumes that smell the same to me, but without a doubt I recommend it if you like gourmand perfumes. Edit to add that it has incredible longevity, it lasted until the next day.

I can’t believe I hadn’t written a review for this perfume. It’s a fruity-floral fragrance, fresh, sweet, sparkling, cheerful and youthful, ideal for spring. It smells of red fruits and rose (my favourite note!). It has very good fixative power for a fruity aroma. It will last about 8 hours on my skin and on fabric all day. It projects well during the first 3 hours. It’s very difficult to get nowadays, so I’ll take care of the millilitres I have, which fortunately I could acquire from a forum friend who sold me her partial bottle.

  • It’s a very fruity fragrance, I only perceive fruit, the roses don’t appear. I can only say it’s a lovely perfume and nothing more, the strawberry and blackberry are very noticeable. It has good longevity on the skin; the trail is moderate, after 3 hours it’s almost imperceptible to others.

  • Atalcadita

To me it smells like talcum with cherry blossom, mmmmm. Perfect for spring! It’s similar to Cherry in the air by Escada but more powdery.

  • What a curious perfume! Does it smell like rose, talcum powder, and Peta Zetas strawberry at the same time? Yes. Soft, sparkling opening, feminine, childish, and innocent. I see it as a spring scent. After 20 minutes, the strawberry and effervescence give way to a delicate rose with a red fruit base. On me, it has a moderate trail but low longevity, lasting only 3-4 hours. If there’s no intense version, I won’t repurchase. The bottle is a marvel. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 4/10, Trail 7/10, Value for money 4.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  • What a curious perfume Valentina Pink is! Is it possible for something to smell of rose, talcum, and Peta Zetas strawberry at the same time? Well, yes, it is. It’s soft but with a sparkling opening, feminine, childish and innocent. I see it having a predominantly spring use in my collection. After the first 20 minutes, perceiving the strawberry and certain effervescence, it basically settles into a delicate rose perfume with a light background of red fruits. On me it has a moderate trail and sadly not very high longevity, only 3-4 hours. It’s for this reason that, unless an intense version exists, I won’t repurchase it. The bottle deserves mention, it’s a marvel. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 4/10, Trail 7/10, Value for money 4.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy again? No.

Literally smells like talcum powder with fruit, very much in the style of the other Valentina powdery perfumes, but with good longevity. Smells like strawberry with talcum, not bad, on the contrary, quite acceptable. That said, only a few sprays as it can be overwhelming. Medium longevity, about 4 hours on skin and 6 on fabric. The trail is moderate. The perfume evolves well. The opening is sparkling, then drops down to become talcum with strawberries. Good perfume, recommended.

  • Beautiful bottle, worth it just for that. The opening is delightful; putting it on brings childish joy, it’s enveloping and sparkling, powdery yet acidic. It reminds me of Mexican popsicles like Tix Tix, that slightly gritty powder but with the acidity of strawberry and blackberry, evoking childhood and sweets thanks to the praline. But it’s not entirely childish thanks to the musk, which is noticeable immediately after that playful opening and persists all the time; I love the rose, soft and almost damp. The amber is only felt at the end, when it’s fading. It’s a charming and very cheerful fragrance. The best time is spring mornings, afterwards I feel like having a fresh breakfast in the garden. Lasting power is just right for enjoying the mornings, a maximum of 5 or 6 hours. The trail starts strong, then settles down to a very calm presence for about 4 hours.

Ugh, Valentina Pink. They offered it to me in a shop and I bought it without realising what a gem it was. At first, I wanted to sell it, but then I got drunk on its scent; it’s addictive, a jam of blackberries and strawberries, nothing childish, it makes you want to bite the spot where you wear it. It has a lasting trail; you might not like it at first, but you won’t dislike it. It smells clean and very sweet, I imagine it like a bath with a thick, fragrant sauce. It made me feel cheerful and want to strut in my heels: ‘here I come’. It’s a pity I can’t find it in Chile anymore. If anyone has info on how to get it.

  • To be honest, I still don’t have the bottle; I’m waiting for a bargain to pick it up. I was looking for something with strawberry or coconut and they showed me this alongside the Soleil by Lancôme. My goodness! I have a mini of Valentina Pink that I dare not finish because I’ll be too sad to throw it away. It’s the most delicious, pleasurable, and addictive thing I’ve ever tried. I’m dying for the full-size version.

  • locadelosperfumes

I love this perfume. It has a scent like Fresita, that strawberry cider sold in Argentina. It’s a shame they’ve discontinued it.

  • The roses dominate the scent; I could simplify it, but they are very prominent. There are also fruity notes; perhaps it would have been better if it were more fruity and less floral, but the roses were too intense for me. I had to give it away, although others liked it. It’s not to my personal taste, but if you like sweet roses, it’s the ideal perfume.

  • diasbuenos

It smells of roses and strawberry candy; it’s not a fresh scent but a sweet and intense one, like a rose jam.

  • Reina Amigdala

It’s a recent addition I bought because they say it smells like strawberries, childhood, and lipstick. For me, it’s very faint strawberries with rose and patchouli, although it doesn’t contain patchouli. It doesn’t smell bad, but it didn’t blow my mind and lasts only about three hours, though it adheres well to clothes. It’s fine to use now that spring has started.

  • Too disappointed. I thought it would smell nice based on the notes and bought it blind. Very sweet; you can detect the strawberry, but it smells like a strawberry water palette with patchouli. Smells of roses, but not fresh; that scent gives me nausea.

  • Too disappointing. I thought it would smell nice given the notes, so I bought it blind. Very sweet; I can smell the strawberry, but it smells like a strawberry water palette with patchouli. The rose scent isn’t fresh and is even nauseating.

  • I don’t understand all the negative comments if this perfume is such a beautiful jewel. It’s roses bathed and caramelised in a super delicious, sweet, and juicy strawberry jam. It’s a shame it’s been discontinued; I only have one 50ml bottle. If anyone has a larger version to sell, I would be extremely grateful.

  • It’s exactly like strawberry jam with a touch of rose and musk. Although it’s not a youthful scent or a body mist, Valentina Pink has the class of a proper perfume. The performance is decent, and I can still detect it several hours after application.

  • A fruity fragrance reminiscent of Miss Dior Cherie with lots of strawberry. It’s nothing special or crazy, but it’s lovely for everyday wear. I see it as perfect for spring and summer days.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I’m writing again about this wonder because it’s worth it. Perfume houses seem determined to take away such well-crafted jewels. In the middle of winter at 10 degrees, it’s roses bathed in natural strawberry jam, nothing artificial like Burberry Her. It has an effervescent touch of champagne, like a pink cider for a Christmas toast. Usable all year round, just moderate in summer. I’m grateful to have a backup; I don’t want this jewel to die soon. I recommend its sister, Valentina, which is sweeter and creamier, and is also disappearing.

  • Last year I finally managed to get the original bottle, as I previously only owned a decant. Although I’m not a huge rose fan, this was a total surprise. The scent—a flirtatious rose with red fruits and praline—combined with a gorgeous bottle, makes it irresistible. I don’t understand why Valentino discontinued it while still releasing flankers for Born in Roma. I hope it never runs out on me.
