I wanted to try it for the star plum note, but on my skin, the opening was very herbal and it ‘threw me off’, nothing pleasant. Over time, it sweetens and softens, becoming a sweet and light aroma ideal for good weather. It lacks a bit more sparkle and contrast. I like the dry down, but I don’t feel it’s unique; it lacks the character of my usual profile.
At first, it reminds me of Born in Roma, with that sweet synthetic and boozy vibe, but after 15 minutes, it shifts to something greeny due to the osmanthus. It loses the joy of the jasmine and becomes serious and reserved. It doesn’t convey happiness to me. I only have the travel size. Edit: when applied fresh, the artificial potency fades incredibly fast; by 2:30 PM, it’s almost invisible.
On my skin, the osmanthus shines through; it’s exactly what I was looking for and I love it, though I wish it lasted longer.
What a bore and heavy. I’m disappointed by the generic sweet vanilla and I don’t like the osmanthus touch. I tried the men’s version and the cardamom is too high, taking away its modernity.
Starts super sweet, like plum with liquor and a strange herbal touch, yet powerful and original. Try it on your skin as it changes significantly depending on who wears it.
On my skin, the osmanthus stands out; it’s exactly what I was looking for and I love it, though I wish it lasted longer.
If I describe it: MEH. After Extradose, things were difficult (for sweet lovers it’s top tier, but this is absolute nothing). I don’t understand why they say it’s strong; even when dry the scent fades. It says nothing, it reminds me of Born in Roma but is much more floral… a complete miss.
I tried it with a decant: at first, I didn’t recognise the scent, but it became clear that the osmanthus dominates with a medium herbal, camphoraceous note that doesn’t convince me. The plum gives a hint of liquor, it’s not fruity. As it dries, it reminds me of the Born in Roma family due to the vanilla, but I don’t feel it’s a flanker; it could be named something else. In short, I don’t think I’ll buy it; it just doesn’t suit my skin.
I don’t understand why it smells like a flanker of Vie est Belle to me.
What a pity, it smells like extra virgin olive oil, nothing more.
I did like it and it lasts eight hours on skin, longer on clothes. The opening is fresh; I don’t identify an exact plum, but rather a sweet and sour fruit, perhaps currants or blackberries. Then it becomes sweeter and dries down to a soft, elegant and addictive spicy sweetness. A good spring perfume for fresh, rainy days. The purple colour is beautiful.
It’s not bad, but it’s hard to improve on DBIR Extradose or Intense. I’m not a fan of plum. It feels more generic and less surprising than the rest of the family, but the quality is there: it lasts a long time and projects well. It’s more adult, serious, daytime and clean than its sisters, less of a flirt. Ideal for work or chic daily life, not with tracksuit bottoms. It has its audience.
I did like it and it lasts 8 hours on skin, even more on clothes. It evolves well: a fresh opening with acidic and sweet fruit (perhaps currants), then sweeter, and as it dries down to a soft, spicy sweet scent, elegant and addictive. Perfect for spring or fresh, rainy days. What a beautiful purple colour!
Tried with a decant. At first I didn’t recognise the scent among other aromas. Simply: osmanthus dominates, there’s a mid-note that is herbal and slightly camphoraceous which doesn’t convince me. The plum gives a hint of liquor, it’s not fruity. When dry it reminds me a bit of Born in Roma due to the vanilla, but it could be called something else; I don’t feel it’s a flanker. I wouldn’t buy it; it doesn’t suit my skin.
I tried it yesterday and I don’t agree with almost any review. I only smelled it on my skin: a single spray at 6pm. The opening was a potent sweetness, then the plum became clear, highlighting the vanilla and lowering the floral notes. My companion loved it and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. Today, after a shower and washing, it’s still right up close. It’s the transition from an adolescent punk perfume to an adult, mature and sober one. I have nothing to say, I never expect anything (less than pear and vanilla, my favourites) and I’m not disappointed. I liked it very much.
I tried it yesterday and it doesn’t match almost any review. On skin only: a single spray at 6:00 PM gave a powerful sweetness, then the plum came through with vanilla and fewer florals. My companion loved it and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. Today, at 12:05 PM, after a shower and washings, it’s still right on the skin. It’s the transition from an adolescent punk perfume to adult life: mature and sober, but with my favourite notes of pear and vanilla. I really liked it.
I heard wonderful things about this flanker and it’s dreadful, nothing new. I noticed neither plum nor vanilla. The original is better.
I tried it in-store and then on my skin with a decant. It’s a disaster: the first spray smells like cough syrup. I enjoy sweet fruity scents, but this is not the case. I agree with others: it smells herbal, camphoraceous and medicinal. Don’t buy it blindly.

Smells like little buns. My wife liked it, but if all it smells like is little buns, it has no other merit.
Bought it for the colour, but it missed the mark. It starts with a juicy plum note lasting 15-20 minutes, then osmanthus takes over. After four hours, right up close, only the osmanthus and a barely perceptible hint of vanilla remain; the plum has vanished completely.
