Love Eau Intense by Chloé

This is surely the fragrance Princess Diana should have worn. It’s so delicate, sweet, spontaneous and elegant. I detect rice powder, but to be honest it’s powdery, although not as heavy as the powder in Flower by Kenzo. It’s not at all powdery in this one; instead, you truly feel the delicacy.

Love, evidently, is Love. For me, a warm, maternal, unforgettable, enveloping, and timeless interpretation of love. Extreme femininity. This vintage character perfume always evokes a stroll through the historic centre of a European city, at sunset on an autumn day. It is beauty… with an unsuspected or hidden sensuality due to its creaminess. One of my favourites, but only when I need to feel romantic and feminine. On days when I need vitality, energy, or unleashed sensuality, I seek something with less poetry. It is one of the most beautiful and balanced perfumes I have ever heard… As if they had mixed all the violet flowers in the world and wrapped them in slightly sweetened cotton. There are many copies of Love, but none of Love Intense, which had extreme creaminess and delicacy, sadly discontinued and at prohibitive prices on the black market. Its trail was not strong, it was moderate, just like its longevity, but the exquisite nature of its scent I will never forget

Love Chloé Intense is the eighth wonder for those who love powdery scents. What a treasure. It opens with a majestically soft iris but with the most beautiful flowers you can imagine: narcissus, lilacs, it also carries wisteria, all very beautiful, without overwhelming. One must say these are among my favourite flowers. It forms a beautiful floral ensemble in the opening that doesn’t suffocate but is tremendously personal. As minutes pass, one of the undisputed protagonists comes on stage: heliotrope, along with a very natural vanilla, nothing gourmand. It is a true delight to start noticing how the situation sweetens so elegantly, with purity… The perfume sweetens ‘delicately’ but with firmness, never with force. It’s not the typical sweet of these times; it’s a powdery sweet that clearly resonates with a vintage taste, like a beautiful black and white photo of a lovely woman. Whoever adores powdery perfumes, those that smell of iris, of powder, of talc, of soft and delicate chic girls, of antique powder rooms, of old wisteria stone soaps… Here it is, it is a true treasure and I consider it indispensable within the treasures of those who delight in sweet, powdery, and fluffy floral aromas, because that is its residual scent that remains constant for a couple of hours. It is a fragrance for someone not at all coarse, rather intelligent, soft, youthful, gentle, not arrogant but with personality. That kind of person who never says a harsh word but knows where to stand, and when asked which side they are on, they know to bravely say their own. I also see a very bohemian part in it, of a person who doesn’t lead such a conventional life, but who gets passionate sitting by a lake, a pond, or a tranquil river with their easel to paint, paying no more attention to life than to the pure beauty surrounding them, a person withdrawn in their things, with a somewhat dreamy, very romantic, and ethereal disposition. Price is a determining factor, as I believe it is one of the most expensive perfumes from this house, but it performs wonderfully, has good fixation, and the trail, without being very prominent, is noticeable

A beautiful perfume. What I love most is that scent that lingers on the skin once the initial notes have faded. It’s incredibly long-lasting and persistent, both on the skin and on clothes. It feels feminine, delicate, youthful and powdery, with that clean touch typical of many Chloé fragrances. Perhaps the opening is a bit strong and very floral, but it passes quickly, leaving behind something exquisite and lovely. I adore it.

An enigmatic and sexy fragrance, powdery yet soft, nothing heavy. I love it for those days when you wake up wanting to feel beautiful and different. It has a wonderful trail, though on my skin it doesn’t last as long.
