What a shame it’s almost impossible to get hold of… I find it more versatile than the 001 Man EDT. Although it starts off super citrusy, once it settles, the DNA of the Man EDT emerges, which is why I see it as more masculine.

Another fantastic fragrance that seems set to be discontinued, at least here in Spain. It’s the softer version of the 001 line, unisex. Compared to the 001 EDT Man, it’s designed for hotter days. It’s not vastly different, but it’s less dense, slightly more citrusy and less sweet towards the end. It uses iris instead of cinnamon, which suits it wonderfully, smelling cleaner though less warm. Although it doesn’t last as long as the EDT, be aware it still manages six or seven hours with average projection, which is excellent for something so fresh. It shares the same accord as the 001 EDT Man but is far more desirable for summer. Same core principles: clean, austere, original, quality scent with good performance. It has nothing to do with Dior Homme Cologne; it’s more akin to its sisters in the 001 line. If you push it, it sits somewhere between a Livre Blanc by Zara or a Musk by Alyssa Ashle, but with greater quality and presence. Or perhaps like a Loewe Agua but without the white floral and with more musk. If you can find it cheaply and are a fan of the 001 line, go for it. The 001 EDT and EDP are neutral/clean perfumes with excellent musk, elegant and high quality, ideal for autumn and winter, but in hot summer they can feel suffocating. This Cologne fills that gap, offering that style but softer and more refined, perfect for rotating in the heat. Don’t get carried away; broadly speaking, the scent is very similar to the 001 EDT Man, so smelling this gives you a good idea. With a bit of searching, it can still be found at a good price in Spain… Salu2.
