Descripción

Prada Paradoxe Virtual Flower is a floral fragrance for women launched in 2024 by the Prada house. This composition, signed by Antoine Maisondieu, Nadège Le Garlantezec and Shyamala Maisondieu, unfolds an olfactive pyramid that begins with the freshness of bergamot in the top note. The heart of the fragrance reveals the delicacy of jasmine and neroli, while the base settles on a warm and enveloping accord of musk and ambrette musk.

It’s the original Prada Paradoxe but very floral (as its name suggests). Personally, it’s my favourite from the line, even though it’s hard to like it more than the EDP. It’s an electric floral scent that I absolutely adore. Projection and longevity are excellent. The name with ‘virtual’ suits it perfectly, reminding me of a bunch of super ‘electric’ white flowers. I LOVE IT.

  • A powdery fragrance, very floral with just jasmine, soapy, with perhaps a slightly green base. A clear centre of clean jasmine. It’s not to my taste despite liking fresh and citrusy scents for summer; I just don’t find myself in this fragrance, it’s too much jasmine.

  • A citrus, clean floral, and musky perfume… which in my view has little to do with the original Paradoxe and wasn’t novel to me either. Pleasant to the nose, yes, but it didn’t say much to me. Next.

  • I find it incredible; it’s a clean, slightly powdery floral, nothing cloying. I don’t like the other Paradoxe scents, but this one blows my mind.

Being AI-created didn’t surprise me too much. It’s not innovative at all, extremely floral, which I’m not really into. After a few hours, the scent started to become annoying. A couple of people didn’t like it either. My mum said it smelled like a cemetery. I own the Prada Paradoxe Intense and I stick with that. The regular and intense Paradoxes feel more balanced and seductive to me than the Virtual Flower. If you like very floral fragrances, this could be for you, but personally I wouldn’t recommend it to those who prefer something more balanced.

  • Seeing that many people weren’t impressed, I was predisposed against it; besides, my favourite from the line is the Intense, and I didn’t want to add another Paradoxe, yet it was inevitable. I smelled it on blotter in the shop and found it very pleasant, SO much, but didn’t give it much importance. Until I was about to order decants and thought: since you’re going to test the OG thoroughly, try the Virtual Flower too so you don’t leave with curiosity, and so I did. Although the OG says nothing to me and lacks longevity on my skin (even though I consider it pretty), I confirmed that the Virtual Flower! I love it! When I tested it on my skin, the first thing I thought of was freshly laundered clean clothes, the second was tidiness, a desire to dress in white to match the scent 100%. I detect much neroli, and although it has bergamot and musk, it’s never unpleasant or sharp. The Virtual Flower is ideal for spring/summer days and nights, perhaps some autumn days too. The longevity surprised me; despite being light, it lasted longer on me than the original with moderate to soft projection, then skin scent. I think perhaps in its composition it might resemble many, following a similar line, but it’s not identical to any; it has its own magic. I like it immensely; it’s the image of a feminine, neat, elegant, yet relaxed woman. Preference for the line: #1 Intense – Sexy, defined, sweet and nocturnal. #2 Virtual Flower – Neat, clean, feminine, diurnal. #3 EDP Original – Versatile, soft, balanced. Edit: I love it, I love it, I love it!! It’s a beauty for summer. Where I live we go over 40C and yet it projects very well in the first hours and lasts up to 8 hours as a skin scent. That for such intense heat is something huge, because I’ve tested it and high temperatures usually ‘eat’ other perfumes very soon. It’s floral, fresh, clean, my most used of the summer ❤️.

  • Although many say it’s unimpressive, for me it was inevitable. I smelled it on a strip in the shop and found it pleasant, but didn’t pay much attention until I thought: if I’m going to test the OG thoroughly, I should also try the Virtual Flower. And I did. While the OG didn’t say much to me, I confirmed that the Virtual Flower is a hit. The first thing I thought of was freshly laundered clothes and a desire to wear white. I detect strong neroli, and although there’s bergamot and musk, it’s never off-putting. It’s ideal for spring/summer, perhaps autumn. I was surprised by the longevity: despite being light, it lasted longer than the original with a soft sillage. It might seem similar to others, but it has its own magic. For me, it’s the image of a feminine, crisp, elegant, and relaxed woman. From the Paradoxe line, my favourites are: #1 Intense (sexy and nocturnal), #2 Virtual Flower (crisp and diurnal), #3 EDP Original (versatile). Edit: I love it! It’s a beauty for summer. Where I live, temperatures exceed 40 degrees, yet it projects well for the first few hours and lasts up to eight hours on the skin. For that heat, it’s impressive, as heat usually eats away at other perfumes very quickly. VF is floral, fresh, clean; it’s my most-used summer scent.

  • I had already tried the original Paradoxe and liked it. Seeing the virtual version in-store, the name caught my attention, and upon trying it, I loved it! It’s a super-simple composition, smelling just of jasmine and neroli, yet it leaves you feeling clean.

  • Extra crisp! A super-clean, enveloping floral. The orange blossom or neroli is very noticeable, with that citrus twist. Projects well; it’s the perfume of a freshly laundered, perfectly ironed white shirt.

  • Extra neat! Extra clean and enveloping floral; I detect much orange blossom/neroli or citrus white flowers. Projects very well. White shirt perfume, yes or yes, freshly taken out of the washing machine and impeccably ironed.

  • Jessimiawallace

Fresh and simple, ideal if you love citrus and that clean scent. The bergamot and florals really stand out. Curious that it’s AI-made, but for how fresh it is, the longevity and sillage are surprisingly high.
