Within ten minutes, the vanilla takes over, showing it’s at full strength. As it dries, the leather takes centre stage, mixed with the rest. It suits me perfectly for a man, not for daily wear, but for going out at night or on autumn and winter afternoons. I was surprised by the longevity; it’s extraordinary. I wore it last night and could still smell it in the morning. Moreover, people smell it on me; the projection is top-notch. It is one of the few vanilla scents I can withstand that smells absolutely fantastic.
Vanilla takes over within ten minutes, hitting the ceiling. Once it dries, leather steps into the spotlight, blending beautifully with the rest. It’s perfect for men, though not for daily wear—ideal for nights out or autumn and winter afternoons. I was blown away by the longevity; it’s incredible. I wore it last night and could still smell it when I woke up. Plus, people can smell it on me; the projection is top-notch. It’s one of the few vanilla scents I can stand that actually smells amazing.
It is a heavy bomb and super feminine, built around iris and white florals. Exquisite and intoxicating, with that powder-room touch that gives character to the iris, which I simply adore. Delicate and sophisticated. The base is subtle, featuring dark vanilla and leather that add just the right amount of mystery. It is a work of art. It doesn’t suit me, but well done.

A wonderful contemporary violet, sublime with vanilla and sweet neroli. The opening is powerful and striking. The leather is merely a name; there’s a very soft, subtle suede holding the fragrance, paired with the powdery touch of lily and oak. One of the house’s finest. Decidedly feminine, though a confident, ultra-elegant man could pull it off. Medium trail and around seven hours’ longevity. Apply to skin and avoid showering.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it wasn’t what I found. To me, it’s a floral-vanilla scent. It doesn’t resemble any other in the line, yet shares an DNA with others from the house. At first, it smells of strong pink pepper mixed with the white floral blend, particularly a creamy, sweet neroli—not sticky—reminding me of Tubereuse Imperiale. As it dries, a resinous vanilla shines through, mixed with iris, half powdery, half buttery, which I love. There’s no real leather; if you’re worried, don’t be. You can definitely notice a soft suede, similar to Creme de Cuir. For me, it’s more feminine, versatile, and wearable all year round. Performance is good without going into best mode, as the house usually does. In short: a distinct, lovely scent that I’ve enjoyed.
To clarify, I don’t think it truly captures her personality; there is indeed a suede-like leather and a sumptuous, slightly green vanilla, but these aren’t the highlights—they provide the body. What really shines are the florals. The first impression is overwhelming and intense, embracing you until your bones creak, before it mellows out. It starts with a striking violet paired with pink pepper, then gradually jasmine, orange blossom, neroli, and an impressive lily emerge, propelled by a creamy vanilla that pushes them to stardom. Later, hints of iris and velvety suede appear, finishing with delicious wood shavings and a comforting benzoin. Vanille Leather has the soul of a dusted classic yet fits modernity without losing style. It is elegance, distinction, and maturity. It’s potent at first but soon loses its projection, settling into a moderate, soft scent clinging to the skin. That said, it lasts for hours. When dry, what remains tattooed on the skin is creamy lilies with a lovely, natural vanilla over soft suede and pieces of wood. Usage: special and evening occasions, perhaps all year round. If you are a lover of classic florals, this is for you.
