It’s a very soft and somewhat elegant scent, but it’s not sexy as its name suggests, nor very surprising.

  • I searched for years for this perfume without knowing its name; I just felt it and it reminded me of my mother’s makeup powder. When I bought and used it, I realised I have a love-hate relationship with it. The opening is very strong and floral, sometimes annoying, but when it settles, it smells like old makeup; it must be the cotton candy I love; I really adore it and it’s the scent I was looking for. But after two hours, it transforms into an intense, irritating patchouli scent that gives me a headache; I don’t know if it’s my pH, but that’s what makes me hate it.

  • charlotinable

Sexy, sugary cotton, creamy powdery musk, and hints of delicious talc. It has excellent longevity and divine drying on the skin; it lingers on clothes and becomes intrusively delicious as hours pass. I’ve been using it for years and it never bothers or tires me. Simply rich in nuances and straightforward. It doesn’t smell anything like Prada Candy, but both are very much in that powdery, milky style that sums up divine sensuality. I adore it, I love it!

  • My best friend bought it for me; I tested it at her house and I think it’s one of the most awful perfumes I’ve ever smelled. Powdery enough to upset your stomach with the smell of old, rotten flowers. I don’t know what was worse: the ugliness of the perfume or that my friend was so happy she wouldn’t let me tell her I found it repulsive, so I had to hide my face of horror.

  • It smells like Mugler Angel EDP, with cotton candy, patchouli, sandalwood, musk, caramel, mandarin, and bergamot. But it’s richer and more bearable than Angel. The 212 Sexy is exactly as its name suggests: very sweet, floral, intense, and long-lasting. It evokes nostalgia; it’s truly a nostalgic scent.

  • It’s fresher than sweet, not annoying, and I recommend it for those who like versatile perfumes. On my skin, it stays fresh, powdery, with a slight prickle of pink pepper. It’s like my boyfriend’s favourite; it has a medium masculine aroma that makes it unisex, and on a woman, it makes her stand out more (sexy). At first, I found it simple, but after a year, I appreciate it more; I sense its complexity and elegance. It’s indispensable; I don’t have much left 🙁 and it’s my favourite. It’s like that thing you value once it’s gone hehe.

  • I had no expectations and I loved it. I don’t smell the caramel or the excessive sweetness others mention; to me, it smells of pink pepper, musk, violet, rose, and cotton candy. When it dries, it’s clean, woody, and patchouli-like, floral and musky with a sweet touch. If it were sweeter, I’d have considered it sexy, but it has its own thing; it’s bold and transgressive like 2000s perfumes such as Ultra Violet (though this one works, it’s strange, eccentric, and seductive). I don’t disparage it; it’s enjoyable for days when you want to smell clean but not marine. In summer, it’s overpowering; it’s very spicy and musky for the heat. Edit: it smells a bit like makeup 😅😅😅🎀. After two days, I notice it has an angelic air, thanks to the cotton candy and caramel notes with a patchouli and vanilla afterglow. Although it didn’t meet my expectations, it didn’t disgust me; it’s quite lovely.

  • I received it as a gift 🎁. I only tested it on my wrist and hope my pH adapts to it. It’s fresh, sweet, and elegant, not cloying but powdery. Very delicate, I’ll give it time. Every body has its own essence, and longevity varies greatly. Even a perfume from 10 years ago smells different now. We’ll see how it goes. The packaging is gorgeous.♥️

  • I bought the 212 for the pink bottle, very pretty to show off hehe. The scent is strong yet sweet without being cloying; it smells like an expensive perfume, sensual and sophisticated. I used to wear it in my 20s.

  • I would buy this a thousand times over; it’s my favourite alongside Cool Water. It’s sexy without being cheesy, full of character with a fresh-spicy touch. Timeless and versatile, it has the perfect balance. Although famous, not everyone wears it. Try it on skin, not on paper.

  • Spicy and sweet, I love it! Very versatile and good longevity. It gives an air of makeup powder or vintage cream due to its slightly powdery dry-down.

  • Ivanovactri

I’ve been using it since 2008; it’s that scent that, even if they can’t see me, identifies me. I perceive it as spicy; the pink pepper is simply divine, sweet, and fresh. It’s timeless, not a common perfume everyone wears. It’s my comfort zone; I always return to it. It makes me feel calm. I don’t know how many bottles I’ve bought, but I can’t be without it. I would buy it a thousand times over.

  • This fragrance has something sparkling, a bubbly base, which is why it feels youthful and casual, yet casually elegant. When I smell it, I imagine a girl in jeans and a boutique blouse heading for afternoon tea with friends at the shopping centre. That’s how I’d describe its usage: casual-sophisticated. If I describe it another way: sweet, yes, but not cloying, rather sparkling. One must be careful with over-application, as it can become overpowering. On public transport, the lady next to me opened the window despite the 15 degrees; she preferred the cold to my 212 Sexy. It was due to over-application, as I didn’t smell it too strongly myself and got carried away. It doesn’t last long, a bit over three hours, with little projection, staying close to the skin. I suppose it’s better this way, as if the scent were strong for hours it could be annoying, since it tickles a bit. The last time it made me sneeze. But don’t be mistaken; it’s not unpleasant, on the contrary, it’s rich and dynamic. Give it a try.

  • I bought it recently and think it’s lovely. Coming from heavy scents like Opium or L’Night Tresor, I was looking for something sweet but suitable for summer and any occasion; it seems appropriate. Using those sugary monsters in summer, in a coastal Chilean area where it’s fresh and humidity is low, suits 212 very well. ‘Sexy’ isn’t quite the word; I feel it’s delicate, feminine, very rosy, but not sexy. You can detect pink pepper, gardenia, and vanilla. I’d highlight that it has a slight DNA of 212 VIP, which I adore. It is undoubtedly by Carolina Herrera. I’m not sure if it’s a good blind buy, as it could be too heavy for those who don’t like gourmand fragrances. I love it.

  • It was a gift and I would never have bought it myself. It has a bubbly note; I smell rose and champagne, but also something very synthetic that makes me detest it. I gave it away because I couldn’t bear it. I usually don’t like CH perfumes.

  • I absolutely love this perfume. I don’t feel it lasts long; I’d say about four or five hours. My partner likes it a lot; it lives up to its name: sexy. What I notice most is the pepper and rose.

  • Undoubtedly a classic from Carolina Herrera. It feels sexy, elegant, and rich. It’s not the sweetest I own, although the cotton candy note gives that impression; yes, it is cloying. The pepper, rose, and distinct patchouli are very noticeable. I like it, but it doesn’t overwhelm me. I think it’s an old-school fragrance; nowadays there are fresher and more interesting scents. It lasts over six hours on my skin.

  • The opening isn’t for me at all; it’s too sparkly and synthetic. It improves slightly in the floral evolution, but the dry-down is the best: on my skin, it’s a sweet, musky, powdery sandalwood that I actually like.

  • What powder! Smells like baby products; my partner couldn’t stand it. It’s neither sexy nor fun; in the end, it just leaves a faint trail of powder with nothing else interesting.

  • The first thing you smell is champagne or cider. I love it for going out with a partner, feeling safe and glamorous, or for special events. I use it for special occasions. It works brilliantly in any season, cold or hot, day or night.

  • I love it! As its name indicates it’s super dry, feminine, elegant, sober and distinguished. It never goes unnoticed.

  • solsegovia

By God! One of my favourite perfumes, it never fails for dates. When I know I want to impress on a date I use it without doubt. I have millions of rich perfumes but I know this pleases everyone and is perfect for a first impression. I love it and I know the rest love it too. 100% recommended.

  • My favourite perfume for ever and ever (along with two or three others, as I have a condo heart). At first you sense the pink pepper, in fact I don’t know how it’s not found in similar fragrances like Gucci Guilty; in the opening it reminds me quite a bit, but this 212 Sexy for me takes a different path, it goes for the sweetness, I suppose due to the cotton candy. It goes in stages: I remember when I met it, it wasn’t love at first sniff, but it delighted me little by little. For me it’s a feminine, elegant aroma, which in the dry-down becomes clean and very pleasant.

  • marisol_bombon911

I ordered it just out of curiosity and it was love at first sniff; I didn’t even leave the shop to test the longevity, I just said yes. The dry-down ENCHANTS me, it’s powdery with vanilla. It’s a fragrance that’s too lovely yet sexy at the same time and feminine; I imagine Elle Fanning wearing it, it’s super girly. I’d wear it at 22, I was fascinated. It makes me happy because I feel it; I walk and move my hair and perceive it too much; that doesn’t happen with many perfumes. I didn’t feel it was invasive; on the contrary, I received several compliments; a man told me I smelled delicious like a bonbon. I feel it’s hard for a young person to dislike it, it’s the definition of pink like its bottle. Longevity on my skin approx 4-5 hours with a good trail, much longer on clothes.

  • I love it today! I’ve had it in my collection for years, but only today did I realise its wonderful composition. For me it has a subtle sweetness, nothing heavy, and the flowers and musk really stand out. I don’t sense the cotton candy or caramel notes. It’s an office perfume, feminine, versatile and nothing invasive.

  • TíaSarah77

At first I hardly used it because it was a blind buy and it didn’t convince me, but lately it has won me over. Its scent suits these climates that aren’t stifling; it adapts well to a temperate climate, it’s sweet but not cloying, something that can be worn daily.

  • What a fantastic perfume! I absolutely adore it; it’s my favourite Carolina Herrera and one of my must-haves. It smells incredibly distinguished, unique and hard to find. I was lucky to stumble upon it in a free shop in Ushuaia last year at a bargain price, because it’s not available in Buenos Aires perfumeries. I wear it in the dead of winter and for evening occasions; a few sprays are enough so I don’t get overwhelmed, although bringing it home with just one spray on my wrist made the whole room smell. I find it sexy, casual, strong, floral with a sweet touch. It leaves a huge trail and lasts for several hours. Ideal for those who want to make a mark.

  • Mayitaperfums

I find it very similar to 212 Vip, but I think this one is more party-oriented. It has a slightly stronger scent but with the same DNA as the soft sexy. I would wear it all year round. Lots of rose and vanilla notes, but subtle, nothing scandalous.

  • Playas1010

For years it has been my signature perfume; I love it, I love it, I love it. It’s spectacular, just like all of CH’s perfumes.

  • Fascinated by this fragrance today with this moderate heat and some clouds; it’s not suffocating. To my nose, the cotton candy and caramel notes don’t come through, they go unnoticed, but the pink pepper and floral notes do come through and are very pleasant. I haven’t received open compliments, but it doesn’t bother people on public transport or in enclosed spaces.

  • It’s an elegant and non-intrusive fragrance despite its sweet notes. For me, it’s perfect for the office; it feels clean and isn’t annoying.

  • I just received it as a birthday gift; I have it again after many years. It seems sweet, fresh, floral, and clean; I love it. Lately, I’ve read they discontinued it; it’s still available in shops in my city, but it would be a shame if that’s true.

  • A nice perfume, but poor longevity for an EDP at such a high price; it’s not worth it. Better to invest in something that lasts longer.

  • El michi coquette

I feel it’s a scent for everything, super versatile. It’s worn on mild days or at night. It smells wonderful to me, especially the cotton candy note. The notes balance each other out to make it wearable. I like it for semi-formal events; it doesn’t project much, but it’s noticeable when people come close and it becomes softer over time.

  • Ayelén Terán

A lovely perfume, ideal for any time of day or season. The only drawback is that the longevity isn’t the best.

  • vanumirasson

It’s a delicious scent, primarily floral. It’s very versatile, suitable for day, night, and almost any season. The only downside is that it doesn’t last very long on the skin.

  • Since I was 18 until I was 34, this has been my favourite perfume and it has never bored me. It’s incredibly versatile; I wear it day and night, in any weather. I simply love it! Whenever it runs out, I buy another bottle before the current one finishes.
