Ashlemah is my second favourite and lives up to its lavender, violet and heliotrope notes exactly, though I detect an undisclosed iris. Upon application, those three flowers come alive with lavender leading in freshness and cleanliness, reminding me of perfumes from the Charleston era. After about 10 minutes, the lavender matches the intensity of the heliotrope and violet, creating a perfect balance where I notice a hint of lipstick, perhaps the hidden iris or the fusion of the three flowers at their peak intensity. It is a fresh, clean, floral fragrance, explosively feminine and with an overwhelming presence, without a trace of subtlety or fragility. It is devilishly chic, refined and possesses a brilliant personality that fascinates me. Unlike other Ashlemah Gems, it lasts around six hours with moderate projection. Ashlemah, a breath of spring.
