You’d think they’d softened it down. I had the original version, gifted by an aunt who criticised it for smelling ‘manly’. I was in my unisex floral phase (used a lot of Le Male) and loved it. What a shame it’s not what it used to be; modern flankers just don’t have the potency of the past.
A total letdown. Seeing the ad, I thought it would be very fresh. The brand and bottle are lovely, but it smells manly. I don’t understand why they’re launching it for women, to be honest. I couldn’t finish it; it smelled like my husband’s cologne.
It smells minty and woody without being aggressive. A splendid combination that sweetens as the hours pass.
