Have you worn Bellissima Parfum Intense?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Atalcadita

Bought it blind, hoping it smelled like Lipstick on a Cat by Margiela, but it barely resembles lipstick at all—only a hint once it’s dry and you have to press it right up against your skin. It’s pretty but very light; perhaps that’s why it’s better suited for summer. The opening smells slightly of hairspray, which I don’t like, and it lasts just two minutes. I don’t think this is a perfume, not even the Intense version; it’s more of a cologne. I do like the dry-down, what a pity it lacks projection.

  3. Kharynbranchet

I was led astray by a YouTuber’s praise of this fragrance, but it inspired absolutely nothing in me. Even after emptying the entire bottle, I couldn’t detect it. I returned it. That was my debut and farewell with this house, and I cancelled my subscription to the YouTuber. I understand many of them are paid, but I won’t fall for the games and lies of fragrance gurus again.

  4. I find this a very pleasant fragrance that inevitably reminds me of Rose The One by D&G, an olfactory jewel that unfortunately is no longer available. For everyday wear, it’s not very potent, yet it suits perfectly whether during the day or night, at work or casually. It has a soft to moderate sillage, with citrus, woody, and floral notes. The bergamot or grapefruit in the opening is very noticeable, then it fades and evolves into a delicate, floral, musky scent; the woody note is also present and unobtrusive. Blumarine EdP ‘Intense’ could have better longevity for my liking, though it’s not too short either. I tend to reapply because it’s very comfortable to wear—a fresh and agreeable fragrance. I’d use it more in spring or on cool summer evenings. A good purchase, considering its price and the good reputation of this Italian fashion house. 8.5 out of 10.
