A super distinctive aroma compared to the typical VS ones, with an opening that really hits. It’s a perfume with a lot of personality; you’re sure people won’t forget you 🖤. The oud is very noticeable, giving a balsamic touch alongside the soft hint of saffron; it’s elegant, with leather adding a sexy and mysterious air, and a very soft violet halo in the dry down. It has good longevity (6 hours with just one spray) and moderate sillage.

Something curious happened to me: we had a decant of this scent (similar to the men’s version) at home, and in my haste, I didn’t notice and took it to the event. I put it on at 8 pm and it was noticeable, then it turned slightly feminine but I liked it. It’s now 11:30 (15 hours later) and I can still smell it quite strongly. I would try it again without hesitation; even though it’s feminine, I love the scent.

I must confess that from the very first spray of Bombshell Oud, I was hooked. I’d been looking for a perfume with oud and something ‘bombshell’ for some time, so it couldn’t go unnoticed 😅. The opening is powerful, the oud is well-blended with peony and saffron, and it lasts for ages on my skin. Victoria’s Secret got it spot on; the only sad thing is that it’s a limited edition.

I didn’t like it at all; I bought it blindly and I don’t think it’s for me. It reminds me very much of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid; when it arrived by post, my mum tried it and loved it, but she felt it gave an elegant air more suited to older people.
