Stunning! If you love roses, you’ll be hooked. It’s a spiced rose, akin to Portrait of a Lady but distinct. When I read it was inspired by Interview with the Vampire, I thought yes, there’s a hint of blood, ancient poisons, and a dark rose that I absolutely adore.
