It’s a different scent, nothing like the Hazelnut Praliné that I adore. Sometimes I wonder if Fragrantica votes for similarities at random… Enigma Emerald is pure pistachio cream with vanilla. The opening is a bit citrusy and pleasant. Within seconds, the nuts appear, followed by a creamy, sweet, velvety note with a bitter touch. I like the opening and the dry-down, but in the middle there’s something that doesn’t convince me. Overall it’s good, but I’m still thinking about whether to keep it or not. 🤔

Smells different, nothing like my beloved Hazelnut Praliné. Sometimes I wonder if Fragrantica votes for similarities at random… Enigma is pistachio cream with lots of vanilla. The opening is citrusy and very pleasant. Then come the nuts, followed by a creamy, sweet, velvety note that turns slightly bitter. I like the opening and the dry-down, but in between there’s something that doesn’t quite convince me. Overall it’s okay, but I’m still undecided whether to keep it or not. 🤔

The opening is sweet and slightly bitter, reminiscent of synthetic, powdery dark chocolate, salty roasted pistachios, and caramelised, heavily toasted filo pastry threads. It lightens up over time, with vanilla blossom emerging for a lighter sweetness. I’ve never smelled anything like this before; it’s my first encounter with the pistachio note. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s too heavy and intense for me. It tires me out.
