Hypnotic Poison Eau de Secret is a pure floral oriental. The citrus opening isn’t loud, gently yielding to a wonderful jasmine that then melts into a delicious Dior vanilla—exactly what I love most: that hypermodern vanilla note with hints of orange. It feels much less heavy than the homonymous EDT, perfect for enclosed spaces without risk. It projects quite a bit on my skin, especially because jasmine and I are inseparable. It’s not invasive, but noticeable for about two hours. I adore it, but seeing it only in a hidden perfumery and not widely available, I resign myself to it disappearing like so many others; what a pity.

  2. I bought it after falling in love with the Hypnotic Poison EDT, thinking it would be fresher for occasions when the other masterpiece felt too intense… but I must say, although it isn’t a bad perfume, it’s very different. For me, citrus notes don’t suit me, so it was a poor purchase. I even dislike it on certain days.
