I Love New York for All by Bond No 9 is an oriental vanilla fragrance from the olfactive family, created for men and women. Launched in 2011, the nose behind this composition is IFF. The top notes are pepper, bergamot and lily of the valley (spotted orchid); the heart notes, candied chestnut, cocoa and coffee; and the base notes, vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, leather and woody notes.

100% GOURMAND ————— A 100% gourmand unisex from the American luxury house. Bond No. 9’s ‘budget’ line (I LOVE NY) sits around $175 to appeal to younger crowds and the general public. The opening is super sweet and strong as an eau de parfum. I feel like I’m in a bakery with the scent of donuts. It remains linear until dry, basically cocoa, vanilla and coffee. Longevity is monstrous: three sprays last until the bathroom without needing reapplication. For me, the 2.5oz/50ml bottle is more than enough. Lovely perfume!

Snatched up at a great price and it was a total hit. Upon opening, it smells of strawberry syrup with a boozy twist, like a cocktail with caramel and alcohol. Then comes dulce de leche with frothy coffee, vanilla and milk. Drying down, it’s like a chocolate-glazed donut with cinnamon and patchouli. A Bond No. 9 fragrance ideal for going out at night and for cold weather. Although gourmand, it doesn’t feel heavy; the notes are strong yet balanced. Longevity and projection are excellent: four sprays last around ten hours and leave a nice trail. I wear it for enjoyment, but it turns heads; I’ve received many compliments from both men and women in a single outing. Highly recommended.
