Descripción

Lady Million Empire by Rabanne is a chypre floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by Anne Flipo and Jean-Christophe Hérault. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant top note of red currant, orange, and neroli essence. The heart reveals a harmonious blend of floral and fruity notes with mirabelle plum, magnolia, osmanthus, and orange blossom. The base settles on a warm, woody foundation of cognac, patchouli, and white musk.

  • I tried it today and yes, it has a very marked liquor note that almost disappears within an hour. The intensity is typical of Paco Rabanne; they never fail in that regard. As it dries down, it reminded me a lot of the smell in a LUSH shop. I see it as a winter scent, for a young girl out partying with her friends.

  • Neroli, orange blossom, magnolia, plum and musk… I’m not a fan of the classic Lady Million, but those notes sparked my curiosity. I remain indifferent towards the Empire version. The sweetness of the red fruit (currant) even outshines the florals I imagined as the stars. Perhaps it’s more floral than the original. As it dries down, a slightly sugary patchouli emerges… It’s sweet, light, very youthful, pretty and nothing more. In short, for me, it’s neither here nor there.

  • It shares a common DNA with Olympia and XS from the house, but has a final twist towards a soapy note that strips away its character and intensity. Honestly, it seems like a desperate Christmas launch attempt with something new that isn’t new. The Lady Million bottles look greedy and ugly, but I respect those who like them. So many soulless flankers, with no solid work, it’s getting tiring.

  • It shares a common DNA with Olympia and XS from the same house, but with a twist at the end, like a soapy note, which makes it lose the character and intensity of the other two. Honestly, it seems like a desperate attempt to launch a Christmas fragrance with something new that isn’t new at all. The Lady Million bottles look greedy and ugly, but I respect that some people like them. So many soulless flankers, without solid work behind them, is getting tiring.

  • Natalylopez

It smells strongly of Mirabelle plum bathed in cognac with a touch of red fruit. The flowers are noticeable too, like orange blossom.

  • danapetalorojo

Although it doesn’t list them, it smells like vanilla bathing a raspberry. I’m surprised they don’t list those notes. It smells nice, sweet, and warm. I didn’t like it; I was looking for something fresh.

  • I agree with Natalylopez’s description; in fact, thanks to her review I decided to buy it. On my skin, I also faintly perceive the musk and osmanthus once the perfume has settled.

  • I agree with Natalylopez’s review; in fact, thanks to her I bought it. On my skin, I also faintly detect the musk and osmanthus once it settles.

  • I’m not a fan of Lady Million; I was gifted an Empire sample and it disappointed me, as the original is much better. Empire has a lovely fruity opening, but after a while it smells sweet, like powdered vanilla, which is odd as it’s not listed, nor is patchouli or anything else. It’s not ugly, just lacking life; it’s simple, with low sillage and poor longevity.

  • Lady Million Empire is sweet and soft, much lighter than other Paco Rabanne scents I own. After the initial red fruit opening, on skin it settles as alcoholic plums (the cognac isn’t cloying) with a floral hint of osmanthus and a faint vanilla touch. This sweet, warm scent is linear and soft; it doesn’t feel cloying or invasive. It’s versatile, ideal for work or relaxing at home. It’s informal and cosy, not for evening wear. Best for autumn, though in spring with heat, it will project more. I must try it! Moderate sillage, lasting over 10 hours. Pity it doesn’t project; I probably won’t repurchase as I have similar fragrances. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 6/10, Value for money 6.5/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? Probably not.

  • I didn’t expect to like this perfume because the bottle repels me and kills all curiosity, but look where I ended up; I got a sample and the truth is I prefer the sample to the bottle, which looks nicer to me. The opening reminds me of the bottle’s colour: shrill, bad taste, and I almost wiped my hand on it. Holding back the urge to rub it off, I kept going with it, me and it both knowing we wouldn’t get along. The red currants are very present, overwhelming me too much, not because of sweetness but because of their shrillness; they’re like pink currants, not ultra-saturated red, to the point of seeming about to explode. As hours pass, I can perceive them without shuddering, and for my nose, the composition improves quite a bit. It smells fruity but not as radioactive as at first; to put it in context, it reminds me of a young plum liqueur but not aged, a young spirit lacking body because it’s still in maceration. I thought it would be unappreciable, but a white floral part is slightly noticeable, mainly a fleshy magnolia, with a powdery touch I can even call enjoyable. Monstrous longevity that has exceeded 12 hours on my skin, and if you’ve read my previous reviews, you’ll know that checking such longevity was quite a ordeal for me. I see it as very feminine; I wouldn’t recommend any man try it, but everyone is different and who knows, if you like it, go ahead. For use, less in summer, both day and night; I say it’s very youthful; I think on a more experienced skin it might be unpleasant or overwhelming, but just as with the feminine note, everyone is free to try and experiment because that’s the fun part. That said, don’t buy it blindly. If I were to buy this blindly, I’d be so annoyed it would shoot out the window like a rocket launching to the moon to land and never return. • Lady Million Empire is sweet and soft, much lighter than other Paco Rabanne fragrances I own. After the initial burst of red fruits, it settles on my skin like alcoholic plums (though the cognac note isn’t very noticeable). There’s a light floral touch of osmanthus and a hint of vanilla. This sweet and warm aroma is linear, soft and doesn’t feel cloying or invasive. It seems versatile, suitable for work or relaxing at home. It’s informal and cosy, nothing nocturnal. For me, the ideal time is autumn, or perhaps a warmer spring, where it will project more. I must try it! Moderate trail and longevity of over 10 hours. Unfortunately, it doesn’t project excessively, so I probably won’t repurchase, as I already have other sweet and soft fragrances. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Trail 6/10, Value for money 6.5/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

  • I didn’t expect to like it because the bottle looks ugly and put me off trying it, but once the sample arrived, I preferred the sample to the bottle; it looked nicer. The opening smells like the bottle: brash, bad taste, I almost wiped my hand to get rid of it. Holding back the urge to throw it away, I kept it, knowing we wouldn’t get along. The redcurrants dominate, overwhelming me not through sweetness but through harshness; they seem like ultra-saturated pink currants, about to burst. Over time, it settles without startling me and improves greatly for my nose. It smells fruity but less radioactive, reminding me of a young plum liqueur, unaged, lacking body, still in maceration. I thought it would be unbearable, but there’s a touch of white floral, like fleshy magnolia, with a pleasant musky note. It lasts monstrously, over 12 hours; a real ordeal to verify. I see it as very feminine, not recommending it for men, but everyone is different. It’s youthful; on experienced skin, it could be overwhelming. Don’t buy it blindly; if I do, I’ll throw it out the window like a rocket. For more, check my Instagram JL_Perfumado or YouTube Perfúmate Con JL.

I prefer this to the traditional Lady Million with all its patchouli. A very good combination of currants, cognac and the patchouli from the line. Excellent longevity, typical of most Paco Rabanne scents, pity that the trail isn’t up to scratch. Nevertheless, it’s a very rich and boozy aroma.

  • I prefer it to classic Lady Million with all that patchouli. The blend of redcurrants, cognac, and the line’s patchouli is excellent. It lasts like most Paco Rabanne scents, but the sillage doesn’t do it justice. Anyway, it’s a rich, boozy fragrance.

  • I tried many from this designer today and this is undoubtedly my favourite. The Lympha line isn’t for me; I detected too much saltiness which put me off.

  • I tried several from this brand today, and this is undoubtedly the one I liked the most. I’m not convinced by the Olympia line; the saltiness is too noticeable and gave me an immediate turn-off.

  • It didn’t grab me at all. At first, it’s a beast, very strong, and although it softens over time and smells like soap, it still isn’t my style.

  • Linda Lo

I bought it as something light for spring due to the blackcurrant note, and sadly found it unmarked and lost when sprayed. The liquor note gets confused and disappears quickly; I feel like it’s a generic fruity perfume. Performance is average; it could be a body mist. I’m a fan of Paco Rabanne but I think this flanker passes without making a mark :c. Yes, for those who couldn’t stand the warmth and intense patchouli of the traditional Lady Million (some got headaches), this might be more bearable. It doesn’t bother, but it doesn’t innovate. I’ll finish the bottle but won’t buy it again.

  • Lady Million as a version of floral jam and a candy shop. Perhaps for noses that can’t handle the original, as with that patchouli front and centre, this version is more ‘accessible’. It uses common ingredients to be a floral and sweet scent (the blackcurrant adds tenderness). Over time it connects with the original essence, but it’s a distant echo. It’s LM in ‘la vie en rose’ mode, like the change in the bottle’s colour. It’s pretty, but lacks personality compared to the original. Another flanker to reach the mass market. Polita.

Hello everyone! This perfume has been forgotten in my collection for a long time. I tried it but my pH doesn’t accept it. Selling it cheaply. If you’re interested, write to me in the inbox! I’m from Buenos Aires.

I asked my husband if it smelled good and he said: ‘mmm, smells nice, like vanilla’. I said: haha, although I won’t admit it, I’m sure it does. When sprayed, it comes out strong with red fruits and cognac, but dries down in minutes to a delicious vanilla, leaving the fruits behind. It’s one of the few that has flattered me. I recommend it.

  • I was gifted it and it was a total failure. The cognac is so potent it gives me a headache and ruins the entire scent; I feel it’s made for grandmothers.

  • This was a gift and I didn’t like it at all. The cognac is far too prominent and, in my opinion, ruins the entire scent; it even gives me a headache. I feel it’s intended for much older women.

  • I was gifted this and disliked it straight away: the opening is overly boozy, featuring patchouli (which I usually can’t stand) and a complicated plum note. Don’t buy it blindly. After three years and more immersion in the world of perfumery, I tried it again; although the opening (the cognac, which is my least favourite) still doesn’t agree with me, the drydown finally hooked me. At 27, it’s not a youthful scent for me. After an hour, the original Lady Million DNA emerges: musky, with patchouli, flowers and redcurrants. It leaves a moderate trail projecting for 1.5 hours and lasting 6 or 7 hours on the skin. I wouldn’t buy it for the opening, but I will use it in autumn and winter.

  • I was gifted it and didn’t like it straight away. The opening is very boozy, plus the patchouli (which I usually dislike) and a complicated plum note. Not one to buy blindly. Now that I know more about perfumes, I tried it again (three years later); I still dislike the opening (it’s the cognac), but the dry-down is okay. At 27, it’s not a youthful aroma. After an hour, the Lady Million DNA emerges: musky with patchouli, flowers, and red currants. Moderate trail that projects for 1.5 hours, then lasts 6-7 hours on skin. I wouldn’t buy it again due to the opening, but I’ll use it in autumn/winter.

  • I had this a year ago, set it aside, and now I’ve bought it again. It seems very strong and distinct from the original. To me, it smells like maraschino cherries 🍒🥰😍, perfect for cold nights and very current.

  • I had it a year ago, let it go and now I’ve bought it again. It seems very strong and doesn’t resemble the original. To me, it smells like maraschino cherries, a perfume for cold nights, very current.

  • Ivanovactri

Sweet, sparkly, and original; smells like a high-end woman’s fragrance, nothing common… I love it.

  • metroidsoldier

I tried it and it’s super party-ready, ideal for a woman over 40 heading to a club or special events.

  • oliendobonito

Smells like cognac with plums and blackcurrants, perfect for anyone seeking that slightly tipsy, boozy, fruity touch. Projects better on clothes and lasts around seven hours. It’s a mature, nocturnal scent, ideal for cold or rainy nights. Original and uncommon, it feels more like a fruity alcoholic drink than a normal sweet.
