Descripción

Lady Million Prive by Rabanne is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2016, the nose behind this creation is Anne Flipo. The top notes reveal a woody bouquet and orange blossom; the heart unfolds vanilla, raspberry and heliotrope; while the base notes complete the composition with cacao, honey and patchouli.

  • At first, it smells like Black Orchid, with that honey note that made me want to buy it on the spot, but after two hours of walking, the scent transforms and starts to smell like Lady Million EDP. What a pity, because the opening was enchanting. The trail is moderate and lasts about six hours.

  • At first, it reminded me so much of Black Orchid, perhaps due to the honey, that I thought about buying it. But after about two hours, the smell changed completely and the classic Lady Million EDP emerged. It’s a shame because the opening was enchanting. The trail is moderate and lasts around six hours.

The scent is sweet but not powerful, very soft. You can quite clearly detect the blend of cocoa, honey, and vanilla with woody and floral notes.

  • I tested it in a perfumery twice, on skin and blotter. The first thirty seconds I loved it; fascinating and addictive. Then it turned into just cocoa and honey, nothing extraordinary. On skin, it had good fixation; I could hear it hours after a single spray. On the blotter, it became too masculine, like a man’s perfume.

  • It was a wonderful gift from my husband, who, although he knows nothing about fragrances, has good taste. It’s a sweet and long-lasting scent, not invasive but present, wrapping you in warmth. It feels feminine with a slight masculine touch on my skin: at the start, you note cocoa, honey, and patchouli, then it becomes slightly floral without losing the predominant cocoa. It’s sophisticated, elegant, perfect for falling in love or making others fall in love.

  • I tested a sample over a couple of days and it didn’t convince me. It feels very woody and, above all, very masculine.

  • I tried a sample for a couple of days and didn’t like it. It’s very woody and I find it masculine, with a very masculine touch.

  • I just tried it and, luckily, it doesn’t smell the same as the original. The opening is greasy, almond-like, and I immediately understood the connection to Black Orchid, although on my skin this one lacks the chocolate notes others mention. It stayed sweet for an hour in 33-degree heat, but after 60–80 minutes, what a turn! It settles very similarly to the BO. It has less projection and nuance, but those woods stick to the base. It’s a simpler, more everyday version of the BO, with a dark sweetness that the woods temper. I was surprised it came from Paco Rabanne. Its longevity is low; it dies between 4:30 and 6, so I feel it lacks body. I have an intuition it will improve with time and I’m thinking of aging it in the cupboard.

  • I was drawn in by the intense brown colour, wavering between a dark autumn and bitter chocolate. The scent is strong, non-linear, and its dynamics depend heavily on your skin and sense of smell; you can either put up with it, resist it, or enjoy it. It’s invasive, boozy, and winter-perfect, ideal with a fireplace and cognac. Unfortunately, it fades quickly, leaving a quiet trail without losing its unisex character.

  • I tried this as a decant and it saved me from a full purchase. At first, it smells boozy, but once it dries down, it leaves notes of wood and cocoa, though the honey is less prominent and it ends up slightly sweet. On my skin, it feels very masculine and woody; it’s not quite my pH, but perhaps it will suit me more in winter or for evening wear. It’s an interesting fragrance that deserves another chance.

  • Some time ago I tried a decant and luckily didn’t buy the large bottle. At first, it smells quite liquorice-like, then it dries down and you can detect the wood and cocoa, although I don’t sense the honey much and it remains a bit sweet. The problem is that on my skin it smells very masculine and woody; it just doesn’t suit my pH. Perhaps I would like it more in winter or in the evening, as it is a very interesting perfume.

  • I’d say those who enjoy unisex perfumes would love it. In my case, I don’t dislike it, but I don’t enjoy it; I feel it’s somewhat masculine.

  • I love the warm and woody opening of this perfume. However, its longevity seems extremely low. In my case, I feel it for less than an hour and then it fades to skin-level in about 4 hours more or less. I have it in my project pan right now and I’m not going to buy it again when it runs out.

  • I tested it this morning on skin and it’s drying… it’s a rich scent. Pity that on skin it didn’t last even half an hour; it had become a good candidate to buy. Its cacao note mixed with raspberry is noticeable immediately… delicious. I love Paco Rabanne perfumes, but there’s no way they last for me. I have the Lady Million Fabulous which I love and it’s a bomb, but I still have to reapply. I don’t know what’s happening with perfumes; I long for fragrances of the past where two sprays would last hours… the Aura by Loewe, the vintage, was a bomb 😍😍. As for longevity, within my current collection, very few make me feel the same. If I had to choose my brand for durability, it would definitely be Cavalli.

I bought it blindly based on the listed notes and it didn’t please me. The opening is super strong and gave me nausea. The only defined notes are a sweet raspberry like old makeup and patchouli. I tested it at 30°C and I think it’s a winter perfume: hyper-sweet but not gourmand. I’ll keep it for winter, but I’m not sure I’ll be convinced, as I have winter perfumes I’d wear all year. For me, it’s a disappointment that smells like air freshener. I can’t imagine a man wearing it; I find it too feminine to be unisex, it could be a flanker for La Vie Est Belle. Edit: I gave it a chance in cold weather and the perception improved; I feel it’s elegant and expensive, but it didn’t make me fall in love or enchant me. It ended up as a ‘I don’t dislike it’ and I prefer someone else to enjoy it. As for longevity, I can still smell it on my clothes the next day, very close to the skin.

  • Based on the reviews, I thought it would be super woody and almost masculine, but on my skin it was the opposite: it came out creamy and sweet. I can detect the honey, cacao and vanilla. I don’t think it will work for me in winter because it’s not potent.

  • Lady Million Privé, what a beautiful scent! Although I’m not familiar with the specific notes, the woody tone, the cacao and the sweetness of the honey predominate. A slightly boozy aroma floods my body with pure delight, making me feel that the only thing that matters is feeling that scent… I feel completely smitten. It leaves a trail that, without being overwhelming, is perceived as catching anyone who crosses it. It’s definitely unisex, but it doesn’t make me feel more masculine or feminine; I remain myself. I don’t understand the bad reviews, but for tastes, colours vary, haha.

  • Lady Million Privé, what a beautiful scent! Although I’m not entirely sure of the specific notes, what predominates is the woody tone, the cocoa and the sweetness of the honey. It’s a liquorice-like aroma that fills me with delight and makes me feel that nothing matters more than wearing it. I’m completely smitten; it leaves a trail that, without being aggressive, catches anyone who crosses it. It’s unisex and doesn’t make me feel more masculine or feminine, just like myself. I don’t understand the bad reviews, but to each their own.

  • I was a little disappointed at first; on my skin it came out super floral. I wore it again today and felt a similarity with La Vie Est Belle Intensement. They both share that nail-polish-remover scent, which I love, I think it’s the raspberry mixed with another note. Putting aside quality and brand prestige, Avon Her Story Love Inspires has a similar vibe. It doesn’t smell strong, isn’t unisex, nor woody; it’s softly sweet, floral and feminine. It’s definitely not a bomb and I doubt I’d wear it in cold weather, as I feel it doesn’t stand out in this season.

  • The essence of Lady Million is more intense and has a darker touch. Beyond that, I barely notice any difference from the original. The patchouli is lovely, oriental, woody and spiced, with a honey that adds warmth. I was expecting to detect the cocoa, but I can’t find it. Still, it works for me as it has the same structure and I appreciate the original version.

  • The essence of Lady Million is more intense and slightly darker than the original, but beyond that, I barely notice a difference. The patchouli is lovely: oriental, woody and spiced, with a honey that gives just the right amount of warmth and pleasure. I hope to find that cacao interpretation, but I haven’t managed to; it’s not the note that makes the difference. Still, it works for me because it has the same structure as the original version I appreciate.

  • Perhaps it doesn’t suit me because I feel it’s a copy of Café Parfums’ Café Café. If you’re looking for a chocolate fragrance, I prefer Cacharel’s Delicious lipstick.

  • I was looking for this for the cacao note, but it’s not really here. Tried it again today and, after a while, it reminded me of my friend wearing Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, but decaffeinated: it smells like forest truffle, slightly sweet from the honey and vanilla. The raspberry is barely noticeable at first and then fades. I wouldn’t recommend it; I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either and wouldn’t repurchase. Also, it’s not easy to find anymore. For real cacao, I prefer Chocolate Greedy or l’Interdit Rouge Ultime, which has a genuine cacao note and is one of my favourites.
