MYSLF Eau de Toilette Intense by Yves Saint Laurent

Myslf Eau de Toilette (EDT) Intense is a citrus, floral, and musky fragrance. This version of Myslf is the freshest, its aroma has a higher concentration of citrus, in addition to the orange blossom floral notes and ambrofix that are characteristic of this line, but now with less intensity. Once reaching its dry-down phase, a musk note is noticeable, but the citrus and floral notes remain in the aroma. This EDT version is ideal for daytime use during spring and summer, casual situations, at school, nothing formal. Its longevity has been the least intense of the entire line, with me it lasted about 6 hours max, with a discreet sillage. I think of the entire line it’s the least interesting, though that’s my perception. It’s fresher, but it has less presence, for that I prefer the EDP. The aroma is pleasant, but I think for a fresh version of the Myslf DNA, Most Wanted Intense or Polo 67 are better and less expensive.

I went to try it at DRUNI and honestly I stick with My self EDP, I love it, I feel it more intense, it’s not invasive, I enjoy it a lot, good longevity and projection, versatility, I’m not very knowledgeable about perfumes, but from my point of view I dare to say that My self EDP I consider it a unisex perfume, a girl can wear it perfectly for spring, summer, autumn, it works great. I use it for work, for a night out with friends, a date, even for the club, my favorite of the whole line, I’ve received many compliments. It’s true that it’s not something innovative or new, but I love My self EDP, it’s love in a pretty bottle at first sniff. My Self EDT INTENSE I feel it softer, less intense, it doesn’t quite convince me, it’s less potent and long-lasting than its sisters, and I think for a little more price, if you want a fragrance with a bit more body, better go for My self EDP. If you want something more nighttime, I’d switch to the Le Parfum version, and if you want something more party-like, more fun and with good power, I’d go for the Myslf Absolue.

Hello, I’ve just smelled it for the first time, right after it arrived. I can’t give you a very detailed review for the reasons stated above, but I can say it’s completely irrelevant. It’s the same as the EDP; in the drydown the difference is more marked, but in my opinion for the worse—it’s less intense. It’s still a very good scent, but it’s the worst of the line. I’ll keep trying it to improve my review, but these are my first impressions.

YSL sent me a sample of this fragrance and of Y Ice Cologne. I’ve been trying it and it has a portion of the characteristic MYSLF scent, both from Absolu and from Le Parfum, but that characteristic scent becomes diluted and generic in its performance because of the citrus additions. I spent ages thinking about where I had smelled this before; setting aside that little touch of MYSLF, I worked it out. In the drydown, this smells extremely similar to A&F First Instinct Together—remember, the fragrance I’ve just mentioned costs 16 dollars. In conclusion, the twist they wanted to give this release makes this scent unmemorable and entirely dispensable. If you want to buy a MYSLF, go for Absolu, which, without being a scent that drives me mad, is very well crafted.
