Well, I thought this oil might give me a fright and be too much for me, but it has grounded me. It’s a pleasant surprise: it smells of pure musk rather than oud, with a very masculine, strong animal touch. I detect nothing faecal; it’s intense, has a good trail, and lasts on the skin for more than 48 hours. It’s dark, smoky, and difficult to handle, but I’ve loved it. It’s not easy, but I would like to own it.
This is too much. I popped into El Corte Inglés today and they sprayed four drops on my wrist at 19:00; nearly four hours later, it’s still there as if it had just been applied. Pure oud from the first minute, with a heavy trail and a high price for just 3 grams, but the longevity is brutal. In short: this fragrance has a life of its own.
