I must say it’s a fragrance I’ve really enjoyed. A citrus opening, slightly sharp, where it gives way to the orange blossom flower that makes it feel a bit feminine; the marine nuances are felt, then it combines with a woody note that reminded me of the Tommy Impact style, very present, making the fragrance turn a bit more masculine. Without a doubt, it’s a rich, summery, versatile, and very unisex fragrance. It has moderate sillage and longevity. Otherwise, I say it’s worth it.

  • It’s totally unisex with a citrus opening, featuring an airy, earthy aquatic touch of freshly wet grass or just after rain when the sun comes out, rather than a sea breeze. At certain aromatic moments, it gives a hint of pepper, while at others it seems to have cardamomo like Santal 33 or Kierin Santal, where sandalwood dominates. It’s very pleasant with huge longevity and sillage, making it indispensable for any casual occasion – not too formal but stylish – leaving you feeling fresh and positive. Note: If you’re looking for something more feminine and light of this type, use A Drop d’Issey by Issey Miyake.

  • It reminds me of Ikiru from Mercadona but without the sweetness. People say Ikiru copies L’Eau D’Issey, but to me they don’t resemble each other. This has aquatic notes that also bring me Aqua Luna to mind. I suppose Jo Malone has similar scents. Ultimately, I didn’t like it much, nor did it repel me; I just don’t think it’s my style. Generally, fragrances with marine or aquatic notes don’t quite convince me and tend to put me off.

  • It reminds me of Ikiru from Mercadona, but without the sweet notes. The Ikiru is supposed to mimic L’Eau D’Issey, but I don’t think they’re similar. This one has aquatic notes that also remind me of Agua de Luna. It’s supposed that Jo Malone has their own perfumes that resemble this one. I haven’t liked it much, though it doesn’t really dislike it either. I think it’s just not my style. In general, there’s something about fragrances with marine or aquatic notes that doesn’t quite convince me and puts me off.

Hands down, it’s the best fragrance from Zara, with the possible exception of Herbal Collection 01 Invigorating (though that’s a different story altogether). To put it mildly, it’s right up there as the definitive citrus-marine scent. I find it perfect, wonderful, rounded, highly addictive, fresh yet elegant, captivating from start to finish, and while it’s not complex, it certainly isn’t flat; it evolves beautifully. Plus, it has a wide sillage without being intrusive and a surprising longevity, even more so in my case as I tend to burn through scents. I’m saying all this despite not being a huge fan of Zara or citrus notes in general. Although it’s in the women’s section, it’s totally unisex. I don’t understand the obsession with the aquatic vibes of Vibrant Leather; they smell nice but last nothing, and it’s insulting the flood of flankers; the worst that can happen is you fall in love with them only for them to be discontinued without a care for their users. So buy it if you can and find it, because its availability lasts less than its longevity.

  • I popped into Zara just to browse, tried it on my hand, and initially thought it sounded odd, so I ignored it. A while later, I asked my brother if he’d put on Bois Imperial; it smelled exactly the same, but he said no, he wasn’t even wearing perfume. Then I realised it was what I had in my hand. The longevity is insane for a Zara scent – eight hours without any issues. The projection is potent; it’s not beast mode, but it’s far stronger than average and lasts with just one spray. I bought it again today; it’s an absolute gem. It’s totally masculine; I don’t know why they launched it for women. If you wear it well on your skin, it can cause olfactory fatigue, so I only wear it occasionally, but yes, everyone around me can smell it and they notice it a lot. I don’t know why no one talks about this perfume; I feel like it’s my personal discovery, haha.

What a gem of a perfume. Although it’s sold as feminine, for me it’s totally unisex. The name isn’t misleading: it opens with very clean, fresh, almost ocean-breeze salty and marine notes, then a floral base emerges which on male skin takes on another nuance – more elegant and mineral – without losing its character. It has good sillage and surprising longevity for its category, perfect for daily wear. The price is more than fair. Honestly, I don’t know what more you could ask for: it smells incredible, performs well, and is versatile. If this had been released by Jo Malone, everyone would be paying over £100 without a second thought. Simply sublime.
