Totally hyped, not that good, I give it 7/10. Smells good but smells like one of the crowd, nothing special.

  • samuel burbano

A very synthetic opening that I don’t like at all, but the dry down is excellent; you can feel a very high-quality vetiver. In summary: opening 2/10, dry down 9/10, final note 9/10. For me, the dry down is more important as it’s the scent we keep for most of the time; the opening smells like cotton candy or those factory sweets (synthetic).

  • Good projection and longevity, plus its versatility: can be worn in the evening/night or in non-hot climates. Works well from informal to elegant settings. Its scent is liked by everyone who perceives it.

  • Although they don’t share declared notes, I detect a similarity in the base to the EDT version, being very different. The truth is it smells very good, but without enchanting me, though I understand others do. It’s a simple fragrance, which isn’t bad; smells quite vanilla with a touch some might recall as lip balm. It’s very sweet but not heavy, so I don’t think it will bother those who can’t handle sweetness. In longevity it beats the EDT, although personally I prefer the scent of the EDT; if you like sweeter and vanilla-based fragrances, you will probably like this one more.

  • titancilo

One of my favourites from Designer. The scent is generally pleasing, has decent longevity without being heavy. Without knowing much about olfactory notes, the perfume has consistency and even improves in the dry down. Fragrance 9/10; in the end, what I’m after is that I like it and that people around me like it, and this delivers in both situations.

  • Paco_zul9

Actually, it’s good; I love that opening lavender that caresses you as it dries. Smells delicious and brought back a memory of a rainy November night in 2015, when I wore something with such rich and sensual vanilla. The dry down features that vanilla with a vetiver note, reminding me a lot of Scandal EDT’s dry down. A rich scent just for that memory.

  • Augusto PerfumeMan

Simply a poetic fragrance, as if taken from a fairy tale. The vanilla opening is delicious and slowly evolves into a fresh, aromatic lavender. It’s not for making a statement with wild trails, but it does offer a clean, crisp scent that, with the right outfit, makes you stand out. The vetiver adds a dreamy dry touch; together with the lavender, it’s a show-stopping fragrance. Totally recommended for those seeking a mature and crisp scent.

  • A formal vanilla with lavender, rich and giving a clean man vibe. Good projection and longevity, ideal for dates or important meetings. I feel it’s all-rounder: works in spring and summer. Not a heavy or cloying sweet. Highly recommended, everyone loves it. Just to clarify, I own several sweet fragrances by Designer and each has its charm; this is an elegant sweet.

  • Jorge karpiuk

Smells exquisite, moving away from the typical sweetness with a sophisticated touch. It’s not a powerhouse in terms of projection, lasts well for the first few hours, but for me, the longevity is short. Is it good? Yes, totally recommended.

  • Sangobein

Very rich fragrance. It pleases the female gender greatly. I usually wear it on night outings and get many compliments.

  • Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense: I understand why some describe it as a hybrid between La Nuit de YSL and SWY by Armani. Of course, they can, as it has bits of both, but they are very well combined, mixed to interact yet separate, conspiring to deliver modern sophistication and authentic, different romance. It manages to let lavender and vanilla share their qualities, offering freshness, cleanliness, and a barely sweet warmth to complete a work that will capture glances and attention. It definitely reminds of other fragrances, but this is the ultimatum, the renewed and complete version of those that had their moment of glory, surpassing 212 VIP Black, SWY, YSL La Nuit, and others. It doesn’t break the mould; it’s a known fragrance and a safe bet if you want to make a difference. For those over 24, preferably at night and in cold climates. Performance is average. Scent: 10, projecting for 2 hours, lasting 6 hours. Recommended.

  • Daniel Govea

Almost a perfect fragrance. Personally, the opening doesn’t appeal to me; it comes out fresh and clean with a very marked lavender that feels strange and doesn’t convince me, but when it dries, buff, an absolute gem: the lavender almost disappears and a dense, warm vanilla appears that I adore. It’s sweet, but a sweetness that is nothing like childish and zero cloying. It projects sensuality; the feeling is enveloping and quite long-lasting. I see it for cold climates in winter, something that fills the atmosphere without being a beast mode, but which is noticeable, leaves a mark, and women love it. If you want to stand out on a night out, a date, or a special event, this is your fragrance.

  • This perfume has something special that makes it stand out from the very first moment. Its exquisite vanilla note unfolds with elegance, enveloping the senses in deep, addictive warmth. It’s enjoyed much more on cold or fresh days, where its seductive character shines in all its glory. I don’t consider it ideal for daytime or intense heat, as its true essence is best appreciated when the atmosphere is cool. It’s one of the few perfumes that has truly earned my praise, and not without reason: it has an irresistibly sexy aura that attracts glances and leaves a mark. More than a recommendation, I dare to say it’s an essential piece, almost mandatory, in the collection of any fragrance lover seeking elegance, personality, and sensuality. Rating: 9.2/10.

If there’s one thing that characterises me, it’s that I have a good nose. Those who disguise their armpit smell with perfume don’t fool me. That said, this perfume is second in my top 3. Although less sweet, it has a significant resemblance to ‘Emporio Armani Stronger With You Absolutely’, which is my number 1. So both can be in your collection as they are in mine; don’t tell me any stories. With the Valentino, you attract more dominant people; I think it’s a formal perfume, for work meetings or important people, but without being uncomfortable; whereas the Absolutely is more for surrounding yourself with family, friends, or lovers. What I notice most is the cured wood and vanilla… I wouldn’t say the lavender (thank god), but rather the spice makes this perfume special. I’ve tried it in all seasons, and although it varies a bit, you still like it and it lasts quite a while on clothes and skin.

  • I’ve worn it many times for uni or with friends, but it just doesn’t fully convince me. I know it’s a commercial fragrance, so I can’t expect a super authentic smell, but it feels flat and boring. Don’t get me wrong: I like it, others do too, I get compliments, it’s the winning DNA but lacks originality. It’s good at everything but stands out for nothing. The development is static, with slight variations in the heart and ending with a dry vanilla from the vetiver. Lavender is the star and gives it versatility for everything: school, work, night, day, dates. Its character is informal and urban. Longevity is moderate, around the good mark, lasting me about six hours, sometimes more or less. Sillage and projection, contrary to content creators who create so much hype, are moderate and mediocre: about a metre for the first hour and a half, then I only smell it on myself when I get close to clothes. Scent: 6/10, Compliments: 8.5/10, Versatility: 9.8/10, Longevity: 7/10, Sillage: 5/10. Cheers.

  • I bought it yesterday due to the hype and, to my surprise, it’s genuinely pleasant. It’s not my favourite from my entire collection, but it easily makes my top 3. The quality is good, though not outstanding: some ingredients feel synthetic, which isn’t necessarily bad. It’s a sweet lavender with vanilla and vetiver, giving a youthful, party-ready scent perfect for dates. I don’t consider it excessively sweet for just cold weather; it also works in warm nights with moderation. It lasts between 6 and 8 hours on skin, with moderate sillage for about 3 to 4 hours. This lavender reminds me a bit of Halloween Man X (though it’s not the same); I understand why people compare it to Green Stravaganza. Regarding the price, due to the hype it might feel overpriced. If you like this profile and want it no matter what, it won’t disappoint. But if you can save a bit more, it might be worth looking into niche options like Parfums de Marly.

  • A captivating fragrance, one of the best lavender and vetiver scents I’ve ever smelled, brimming with sensuality and delicacy. All true if worn by a woman, as I, as a man, would never wear it; in fact, I’d love for my girlfriend to wear it. Longevity and projection are incredible, but it’s too sweet and has a dark floral opening and heart. Once dried, it does take on a more masculine aroma, but I can’t see myself wearing it for the first hour as a woman, sorry but no.

  • I bought it because of all the hype and mmm… I don’t think it’s that big a deal. I think the hype is being projected too much onto something ordinary; it could pass for any Scandal or other current sweet scent, Panthom, etc. I prefer the classic.

  • Heavily criticised for being flat or boring, this is my favourite designer perfume. I think that’s the magic: everyone wants something special or distinctive, but the value of this scent is how easily it stands out without being complex. The notes are well-defined and that lavender opening lightens it up and makes it versatile. They’re all felt, of good quality. It evolves little but the vetiver complements the vanilla well. I receive many compliments whenever I wear it and it’s one of the women’s favourites, who mention its marked masculine scent. Perhaps it doesn’t drive us young men crazy, but it certainly does the female gender. I think that’s the magic: something simple that stands out without needing complexity, one of the best, if not the best of the brand. Its review will be on my TikTok this Friday: @_ulisescents.

  • Maverick Jessu

Smells very feminine, about 80% woman, so I can’t see myself wearing it. I had higher expectations, but the scent is flat, lacks evolution, and feels nothing new. That’s it.

  • It’s a charming, sweet, and attractive aroma that turns heads. It’s a compliment generator, but beware… this fragrance with a good outfit, a good shower, clean skin, and a good haircut and beard… you’ll be the star wherever you go.

  • I wore it and the dry-down is delightful. If I go out with friends, my girlfriend, or to work, people have complimented it and it wouldn’t be the first time someone approached me on public transport even with plenty of space; yes, they’ve asked what I’m wearing. I find it versatile if you don’t overuse the sprays.

  • I’ve been wearing it for a while and something curious happens: despite liking it, I don’t find much charm in it. It’s quite boring; it smells of lavender and vanilla without many nuances. It’s clear they tried to please everyone: the lavender makes it mature and the vanilla youthful. The problem is that, being caught between two worlds, it fits neither. That said, it feels high quality and lasts quite well for what designers offer nowadays (around 6 hours).

  • Although some call it simple or boring, my experience is different. I find it very well-crafted, especially in how it combines lavender and vetiver (notes that usually sound ‘old man’) with sweet vanilla that gives it modernity without being cloying. It’s a wearable scent for any age, masculine, elegant yet accessible, with that touch of sweetness that softens without losing presence. The only thing that could be improved is the trail: it performs well, but doesn’t stand out as much as one might expect from an ‘Intense’.

  • I’ve just received a 2 ml decant to try it out at my own pace. After a few hours, the feeling is ‘ehh-okay’. It’s pleasant, yes, but far from being as impactful as the reviews suggest. Personally, I’m sticking with Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Coral; that’s the one I’d buy full bottle. With the Intense, what I least like is the vetiver base (it’s mossy); it just doesn’t suit my tastes. The vanilla and lavender are fine, but they don’t compensate for that base as it dries down. Fortunately, I only spent $10 on the decant, so no great regrets. Rating: 6.8/10.

  • It is the true ‘Attracts men’ scent. One of the best in the line, alongside Fantasy, though it doesn’t bring anything new. It’s ideal for dates, parties, or special outings. It’s one of those perfumes you love but that don’t last long, so I recommend getting a decant if you have any doubts. If you’re looking for something similar but with better longevity, you’re better off going for the Extradose version.

  • CrankCesarmc

I’ve had this on my wishlist for a while and, blind-bought, I nailed it. At first, that lavender and vanilla blend is a bit of an ‘ugh’ – perhaps it doesn’t look super masculine – but once the lavender settles, the vanilla lingers with a woody touch. It’s true that after a few hours it becomes a little boring as the lavender fades, but it’s not a bad scent. I’d give it 9/10; a good blind buy. If I were to describe it, it would be a black outfit with a moustache.

  • For going out, dinners, fresh afternoons… it has spectacular performance. It’s a fragrance that embraces you and is very much liked, earning plenty of compliments.

  • iSantiBravo

A pleasing fragrance for everyone, which makes it a little boring. It’s rich, vanilla, and little more. I would prefer to buy Asad Bourbon, which is much cheaper and I’m sure it would have more projection.

  • Jose Luis Tov

Now that I have it, I understand the hype. I’m not usually into this type of scent, but I recognise it’s very popular, especially with young people and women. Longevity is beastly, easily 12 hours, with good projection. If there’s a downside, it can resemble trendy perfumes like Scandal or Le Beau; mind you, not identical, but owning them together would be redundant. Apart from that, it’s excellent for blind buys and gifting.

  • AdrianRuiz16

Very nice; the lavender is what stands out most, and I believe gon97 is right. I find it more intimate, not for going out to parties but for a date or a fresh afternoon. Longevity is very good on my skin, over eight hours. The trail is moderate.

  • I don’t know why people say it’s not worth it; for me, at least, it lasts all day without losing intensity. It’s one of the perfumes that has earned me the most compliments from women. Spectacular.

  • Aka_Kaiser22

I’m very sorry, this is an absolutely inflated and overhyped perfume (thanks, TikTok). It’s not bad by any means, but the price is outrageous for what it offers. The scent is good but I find it a bit simple: it’s a sweet lavender perfume and that’s it. Passable, neither good nor bad. Lasts about 4-6 hours, which is decent. The trail is soft; no one will notice you’re wearing it. It’s not the best in the Valentino line; Extradose beats it hands down in trail, longevity, and depth.

  • Lautyreyes64

It starts with a very intense lavender hit and continues like that. It’s a great fragrance, not overly complex but one that is liked and catches attention. Recommended.

  • Daniel Henderson 77

It’s a rich, seductive, and sweet fragrance. Although I’m not very addicted to such sweet scents, it’s very good. I like it and so does everyone else. The price here in Argentina is high, as with all perfumes. If I could get it at a good price like the first time, I would consider buying it again. For me, it’s worth it.

  • Jeremy Cano

I’ve been wearing it for three days and here’s my honest opinion: at first, it hits you hard with lavender, not a hint, but a strong punch. Then comes a light vanilla to balance it out. As a niche fragrance, sometimes less is more, but to be honest, I was slightly disappointed; I expected something more complex given the reviews, and hardly anyone mentions this. It causes olfactory fatigue after two hours, though it lasts eight on the skin and projects three or four hours. Ideal for mild weather, indoors, or with air conditioning, as its projection isn’t suffocating. For the price, it delivers for its design. It’s not for everyone; I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something sweet and vanilla-focused, as the standout note is the strong lavender while the others go unnoticed. The first place that came to mind was a church; it fits perfectly with those scents. If you adore sweets, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to try something different. 7/10, good for special occasions or daily wear without overdoing it.

  • Smells great and you can buy it blind with confidence. It’s a simple scent but one that everyone will love; it’s like vanilla with a touch of talc added. I would definitely buy it again.
