I really love it, I only wear it in the evening as it’s a very warm scent and too strong for daytime! It lasts a very long time and it’s exquisite. 10 out of 10

  2. I’ll begin this review by clarifying that I owned the EDP version and it definitely had to leave my collection. Whilst tastes vary, for me it is an extremely difficult perfume for several reasons: in my opinion the palo santo is far too dominant. Moreover, the powdered coconut makes the fragrance too dry. It reminds me of eating badly made alfajorcitos de maizena (very typical of Argentina), with a very heavy pastry overloaded with coconut around the edges. That same feeling, like suffocation. And to complete that powderiness there is heliotrope, a flower I do like, but in this perfume it adds the finishing touch to that powdery effect. I’m sorry but for me it is an impossible perfume to wear. Having said all that, and with some trepidation, I tried the extrait version. And whilst I wouldn’t buy it either because they share several notes, I have several positive things to say. Firstly, the palo santo here is not so dominant, which in my case I welcome. Also the coconut is not overpowering, it is a little less dry. And what I think makes the difference in this version is the tonka bean note, which adds more creaminess and a very distinctive sweetness. There is no heliotrope, so the powdery load is reduced, and the overall sweetness is very wearable. Would I buy it? No, honestly not. But I do believe those who couldn’t cope with the first version could at least give the extrait a chance and draw their own conclusions.

  3. Despite being an extrait, I didn’t find it heavy in a dense or woody sense, although it isn’t a light or airy vanilla either. It is a fairly linear scent of slightly creamy vanilla (despite its name I find it very round and somewhat creamy), although over time it becomes a little smokier (palo santo). It is quite sweet without being sickly, and the coconut merely supports (I’m not a huge coconut fan, but here I don’t perceive it as a separate element, but as an addition to the vanilla). I haven’t been able to evaluate performance over time, because I only tried it once, but on that occasion it was quite impressive.
